I agree with everyone else who said this restaurant is sad-looking on the inside and needs a…read moremakeover, or at the very least a good scrubbing, including the walls. I remember when this place was DGs deli, back in the olden days, and it has really been stripped down. At one point during the cooking there was a huge puff of oily smoke that made one of the four of us have to go outside to get some fresh air. The food was better than I feared it might be. The two diners who had Pho really enjoyed it and their fried egg rolls. My husband wolfed down his entire plate of tofu pad thai. Why was the pad thai orange colored, an orange never seen in nature? I don't know. I had chicken pad thai. In retrospect, the tofu would have been a safer choice. Because even though the chicken was very thinly sliced, I got a few bites that seemed a drop undercooked. You know that yikes-this-is-chicken-sushi flavor? That. So I just ate around the chicken and hoped for the best. The entire front end of the restaurant is run by one middle-aged man who works the register and serves as the waiter and busboy too. So when they are slammed it can be a few minutes until you order, but the food came fast.

As a Chinese person, it's consider decent to get away from the usual chow fun you get in Chinatown. The eggroll was okay. The ambiance was quite sad there. A bit run down restaurant that it looks like it's holding to its last leg but it's a strong last leg lol. Service was a hit or miss type. The guy was too busy watching the World Cup so didn't really attention to us. You pay up front when you finish your food. He doesn't bring the check to you.

This was my first visit here to Pho Tre Bien and I must say it was great! It's a cute little…read moreestablishment, the volume is fair, soft music and spacious seating. The service was fair. For appetizers we ordered the shrimp spring rolls with the peanut sauce (pictured), one is very filling as the serving sizes are big. I got the chicken skewers with the rice noodles, peanuts and side salad. It was too big to finish, very filling and good. I found the chicken tough to chew. The peanut sauce is by far the best I've had, it really went well with every item we ordered. I'm not a big dessert person but we ordered the monkey bread with pecans at the end of our meal, superb!

The lighting inside was nice, food was great loved the steak and brisket pho and the shrimp spring rolls! They also have karaoke night on Fridays and they have a bar! They also have music playing which makes it fun, Service was great and attentive the bowls of pho are either a small or large me with my 2 bites I was not able to finish the small bowl. Oh and I couldn't miss the boba Thai tea makes sense why I didn't finish my pho

I'm leaving this review to share a serious safety concern with a recent takeout order…read more I ordered a soup and a dessert through DoorDash, and the soup container (it was a DRINK container sealed with TAPE) melted from the heat, causing the food to spill and burn my husband's leg. This resulted in an actual injury, his leg is blistering from how bad it was, it is not just an inconvenience. We only received a $5.00 refund and a $10.00 credit for a $19.00 product that didn't only ruin our night, it caused an injury. What was most disappointing was the response when I contacted the restaurant. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the injury, and no indication that they would even review whether the packaging met appropriate safety or legal guidelines for extremely hot broth. I was simply told to go through DoorDash, which felt dismissive given the circumstances. I understand accidents can happen, but situations involving injuries should be handled with care, accountability, and basic concern for customer safety. I hope this feedback encourages safer packaging practices and a more responsible (and empathetic) response when issues like this are reported.
