I had a consultation with Alexis before booking my appointment. I showed her an inspiration photo…read moreand explained exactly what I wanted. She told me that because my hair had purple and red tones, it would be more challenging, but she assured me she could achieve the look. I trusted her, especially since I wanted my hair done for my birthday. During the appointment, she had an assistant working on my hair who clearly seemed inexperienced. I was never asked if I was comfortable with the assistant doing part of the service. I understood everyone has to learn, so I didn't say anything. When my hair was finished, I was disappointed. It came out much darker than what I had asked for and looked nothing like my inspiration photo. To her credit, Alexis acknowledged it was too dark and offered to redo it free of charge. I went back for the correction. Before she started, I asked about the highlights because I couldn't see any. She told me they would still show, but even after the redo, there were still no visible highlights, and the final result was still far from what I had requested. I don't like arguing or making a scene, so I accepted it and left. However, I'm extremely disappointed that I spent over $400 and didn't receive the hair color I was promised. Now I have to pay another salon to fix it. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this salon. If a stylist isn't confident they can achieve a specific look, it's better to be honest from the beginning rather than promise something that can't be delivered.

Well Wendy Lynn gave me the perfect color, it was rich vibrant, covered all my greys and she matched it perfectly to the reference photo I'd given her! Thrilled already with that you can only imagine how exceptionally happy I was when she followed that with what I can say is one of the BEST haircuts of my life! I left there with hair that is more bouncy, soft, shiny, beautiful and so healthy feeling it is remarkable. Wendy was professional and warm, with skills that are impressive to say the least. Do yourself a favor and if you get the chance to book with her do it! Your hair will thank you for it! She will not disappoint and I'll be returning again to let her work her magic on me! I was very clear and wanted to keep my length. Right from the start, the stylist I believe her name was Bianca older gal. With salt and pepper hair. She began cutting my hair while it was dry also asked me to stand out of my seat while cutting. I've been to several salons and never experienced that. It was unusual to me. By the end of my appointment, my hair was much shorter than I wanted, the layers look very choppy instead of soft and blended. What upset me just as much as I was treated. During the appointment, she made comments about my physical appearance that made me feel uncomfortable. I'm a Taller woman and those comments felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I also mentioned a recent shoulder surgery. Unfortunately she was rough and forceful when moving me. I left feeling disappointed not only with my hair cut but with the overall experience. A haircut can always grow out, but how you make a client feel matters too. I hope this feedback encourages more consideration, better communication, and respect for future clients.

So I saw Julia a while ago (this is my review from Google since when I did the review their Yelp…read morepage wasn't active), and she did my hair a few times. The first time I asked for R 65 I think, it's burgundy. She put some other color and it faded so I went back and she put some crap toner on it, I didn't like it but I didn't say anything, this was at her old salon in Woodland Hills. She did my color again which was better and she knows I like my hair short. This time she moved to this salon, Rumors, I was VERY SPECIFIC, sending the pics and the color I wanted. She assured me she could do it, even showing me a man who she did his color. So when she applied the color after the bleaching, it didn't come out like I wanted. I asked her if you put the purple in as you did for the guy, and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. The color didn't come out ANYWHERE near the color I wanted, if you didn't know how to do it just say it I would have gone somewhere else instead of wasting my time. She and another girl, who seems more experienced, gave me blue shampoo, which I did both of them bc they said it will darken up, it did shit. I look like shit and my friends and coworkers said what was she thinking. I let her know and she had an opening for Fri 4/5, I told her I am going by to move my patient and let her know. SHE KNEW I wanted that spot but this chick gave it to someone else, or did she? I also went the day before and bought the color I wanted in case she didn't. So anyway she gave my time slot to someone else leaving me hanging. I go in the group looking for someone to do my color and Julia, I don't understand, unfriended me on Facebook and BLOCKED me on Instagram, HAHAHA like what? How childish. Own up to your mistakes/issues like an adult. I will not promote her again, she's inexperienced and doesn't listen to the client.
