Mandy's Diner is located in Bay City Downtown cluster of businesses. Street parking is easily available. Breakfast is offered all-day everyday! I enjoyed late breakfast with my Mom and Brother. All three of us had a taste for a real good breakfast and they didn't disappoint. Our server, Tim, was very hospitable and kind. I was had the French Toast made with Texas Toast and sausage links. My family opted for omelettes that were pretty large portions. It was plenty to take for leftovers the next day. The decorations and decor of the restaurant are cozy country. The only drawback for me was there was a dog in the restaurant that did not appear to be identified as a service dog. read more

Omgosh what a great little place. Quaint and cozy. Food is totally from flavor town and the portions were just enormous. I had an omelet that I swear had 5 eggs, but probably 3 and a ton of bacon and cheese. Everyone's breakfast was very good and the service was top notch. I was in town visiting two friends of mine, and this was our breakfast on the second day. Another amazing fine thanks to the Yelp community. The decor is very welcoming, with plenty of comfortable chairs, soft lighting, and just a television on one wall. No loud music, nothing offputting about the place at all. Our server happened to be the only server in the place, and she was trying to not only take orders and bring out food but manage the cash register as well. She was hustling hard and we were appreciative of her efforts. It can't be easy to do this kind of work when you're the only one there . The food was terrific. I ordered a basic plate of eggs and breakfast meat. I was surprised to see it practically overflowing, including three eggs, six sausages, three bacon, and two large pieces of toast. Anyone that walks away from this place hungry is doing something wrong. All of it was delicious, particularly the bacon. I would love to come back someday. read more

My friend and I went here for breakfast and were seated immediately. I had the breakfast burrito with hash browns and white toast. He had Mandy's big breakfast that came with 2 eggs, 3 meats, hash browns, toast AND choice of 2 full size pancakes or French toast. We shared an order of biscuits and gravy. Wonderful breakfast at Mandy's today. I had cinnamon waffles with raspberry sauce and spouse had cinnamon swirl pancakes. We each had some of the others. Loved every bite but couldn't finish due to generous portions. The place was busy with only one waiter initially but he was busting his butt to take care of everyone. read more

Got there right when they opened on a Friday morning. Hostess/waitress was so friendly. Could tell she had a TON of regulars who seemed to love her. Lots of options on the menu. My friend had the Reuben omelette - really liked, but would have liked more corned beef. I had the breakfast bagel, which was good & came with hash browns. Mandy's is located in the former Bay City mexican favorite "Chico's Tacos." While in town for a family function. Got seated and my drink order taken immediately. Coffee was good. The staff were working very hard and running around to clean tables, serve food, and cash out patrons. The inside is clean and welcoming. Nothing stuffy or complicated regarding the décor. There also is a room that can be closed off (barn doors) which is nice for a more intimate dining experience. The menu has a ton of options. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Prices are more than reasonable and the portions are huge! Went with the Mandy's Big Breakfast and it is big! 2 eggs, 2 pancakes or french toast, bacon, ham, sausage, hash browns, and toast. What a fabulous diner, located in a beautifully renovated area near Saginaw Bay. We each had a delicious lunch with every generous portions at a very reasonable price. Anyone who rates it 4 or below need to reconsider your life choices Portions were phenomenal, each item could feed two people unless you're matt stonie, prices were very fair, everything we got were delicious. The breakfast is awesome! I went there with my mother and my brother on a Sunday. I really like how small of a restaurant it is. It makes for a very cozy experience. We all ended up getting some sort of combination of French toast, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, ham. It was all very good. Cooked very well, the bacon was PERFECT, and came out hot! You could tell they probably use the same French Toast bread for garlic bread for lunch and dinner, because you could taste the garlic every once in a while. It could've been flavors that the bread picked up well being cooked on the flat top, but, either way, was still very good. Our server was absolutely wonderful! Great place for Sunday brunch. It was a 5 min wait at 11:30. The menu selection was unique and hard to choose from. Portions were very large and the food was really good, very much like your mom used to make. I enjoyed meeting the staff and it felt like we were at home there. The steak was tough and only cooked right on one half of the steak. The philly steak sandwich the steak was dry and chewy. And the sloppy joes, well they were sloppy joes. Our (wife and 2 daughters with me) server was on point! She was on top of everything and when the cooks were cussing and yelling and going on like they needed a baby sitter, she was on top of it trying to get them to stop and act right. And it's unfortunate because it is a nice small little shop right on a main road with parallel parking out front. read more

Great brunch on Sundays always!! They have a fantastic breakfast menu (have not tried the lunch food yet)! Love the omelettes!
