The pork bao in particular had this beautiful char that added just the right smoky depth without overpowering the sweetness. Absolute standout. The ramen was exceptional. Rich, balanced, and clearly made with care. My tonkatsu was beautifully caramelized -- that golden crust giving way to tender, juicy pork -- while my girlfriend's chicken katsu was crispy, perfectly cooked, and somehow still light. No sogginess, no shortcuts -- just done right. The atmosphere strikes that sweet spot between cozy and modern, and the service was genuinely warm and attentive without hovering. One of my favorite touches? The large visual menu on the wall. For anyone who isn't super familiar with this style of cuisine, it makes ordering approachable and stress-free. Such a smart move. Yori House nails flavor, texture, presentation, and hospitality. Can't recommend it strongly enough -- we'll absolutely be back.

The menu is very interesting with everything Korean, Japanese and Thai inspired from fried rice to tacos to noodle dishes. Service was very good and though the restaurant is small, it is well appointed. We ordered edamame and a pork bun for appetizers. The edamame were served lightly salted and warm and the pork bun wonderful and flavorful. I highly recommend. For a main dish, I ordered the pad Thai with shrimp. The only complaint I have is that the dish was pretty salty. The shrimp were delicious and the portions for everything were generous. We ordered spicy fried rice to take home and I'm so glad we did. Sorry but no photo of the pork bun as we dove into it as soon as we got it.

I probably could've only ordered the soup and been satisfied. My kimchi-chi-gae came out in a cast iron bowl and it was still boiling when it came onto the table. We also ordered the seafood jeon (pancake), and tteok bok ki. Everything was so delicious. This is a small restaurant but they were consistently busy the whole time we were there. The server was very hospitable and attentive. Note that they don't have to-go containers for soup so if you order that prioritize eating that and bring apps home if you need :)

I got there at 7 two different nights and was able to get a table. I went on a Wednesday and Thursday and they remind you they close at 8 so best to know what you're going to order before you get there. They have their own parking lot. They are very friendly. The flavors of the food are clean and quite pleasing although the portion sizes are not huge. I like the Tteok Bok Ki better than the Kim Bop and ordered the Yook Gae Jang and liked it a lot. And in Korean restaurants everything tastes better with Soju. No it isn't on par with the top Korean restaurants in NY, LA or DC but I am pleased when I come here and obviously I've come back for more.

I think the marinated beef was my favorite, especially when dipped in the sweet soy sauce. It was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. She was also so sweet to write down everything on a sticky note that had anything I'm allergic to which is always appreciated. We did both Kpot and BBQ and glad we got to do both. I really enjoy the buffet/all you can eat style since you're in total control of how much or how little you choose, especially when trying something new. I did try a lot of new things while here and I think it's the perfect way to do it! I made a ramen bowl and also grilled a lot of different meats - our favorite was the spicy pork belly! We got up for seconds, thirds, and fourths bc it was so good!! There is also a section of creating your own sauce which was fun too! You could definitely make a variety of different sauce creations, maybe some sweet, some spicy, some more or less flavorful, there are no limits! They also had a guide above the sauce line to help you follow the ingredients if you're looking for some inspiration. I would definitely come back again! I wish they had more dessert options.

Even when we were rushing to eat since the closing time was near, the server kept reminding us to take our time and that it was okay. She is adorable and I would honestly just go to see her again. The food was really good too. I really liked their budae jigae and takoyaki. The takoyaki was perfection -- cripsy on the outside but super soft and lava-y inside. Chapae was chewy and was so flavorful. Budae jigae was authentic and delicious. The chicken was also pretty good. Everything we had didn't disappoint. Overall, I had a really great experience! Probably one of my favorite restaurants in Ithaca

My mom is Korean and my dad, though Chinese, grew up in Korea and speaks Korean fluently. Needless to say, they both know what good Asian food should be like. Well, they came here ~3 years ago and told me not to come because the food was bad. I guess curiosity eventually killed the cat... I came here with a friend and we split the tangsuyuk, sundubu jigae, and the donkatsu. Everything was horrible. Honestly, the best thing was the miso soup. The ban chan was also bad. The sundubu jigae tasted like water and the seafood was rubbery and overcooked. The tangsuyuk was dry and the sauce was too watery, nowhere near as thick as it should be. The sauce too was bland. The donkatsu was also dry and flavorless. I would not recommend at all. Please go somewhere else... anywhere else.

It comes to your table sizzling, then you dress it with as much gochujang pepper/sesame oil sauce as you like (it traditionally comes with a bottle of sauce so you can add to yoir taste), and mix it all up. The hot pot makes the bottom of the rice nice and crispy. I get mine with tofu instead of beef and the portion is very generous. It comes with 3 banchan (Korean small side dishes) and miso soup. My only wish/suggestion for improvement is that they should offer more variety in their banchan. Service is fast but I'm usually here outside peak hours. Ambiance is simple but always clean. My dinner bill with a beer and a hot tea came to $26 which is a good value imo (my leftover filled a to-go container).
