We unfortunately had a cashier with a power trip who impatiently tossed a promotional gift at us and slammed the receipt. They are doing a special mid-autumn festival promotion with a gift if you spend over $68. Not only did we have to specifically inquire about the promotion, we were told we had to wait for the one cashier who was responsible to get our gift. There was a choice of 3 gifts and I was in the washroom. My parents wanted to wait for me to decide so the lady cashier was annoyed we were "taking too long to decide". Our first choice was out, and when we reluctantly decided on the second choice. She impatiently tossed the gift at us with a sigh. There wasn't a line either... We politely thanked her and left. Probably for good. It's unfortunate. I've never had this happen and it's been my go-to since it's opening despite living next to a T&T. I have always loved the bbq from the kitchen and the cute seasonal decors, but I don't think it's worth the trip anymore.

Sui mai 2. Har how 3. Bean curd rolls 4. Sticky rice I noticed for this price range the quantity was lacking There was some serious shrinkflation. The pieces inside each bag were only 4-5 and they were very small It would have been ok if I took it home and the taste and flavour were a wow factor But again unfortunately It was a disappointment I probably won't be back as I will go to other frozen dim sum locations namely (FuKee Bao Dim) Sorry not my cup of tea namely (Yum Chaa)

Black bean pork ribs and salted egg buns are a personal fav for me. Much better deal than at restaurants for sure (you know many of them use frozen anyway). If you'd like to snack on something right away, they have hot ready-to-eat snacks near the counter too, like egg tarts and BBQ pork buns. Unlike quite a few other cash-only Chinese frozen dimsum places, they take card payments, which works great for me. That being said, the price is a little higher. Plenty of free parking for the plaza.

The fish was undeniably fresh -- soft, clean-tasting, and expertly sliced. Each bite melted in the mouth, especially the buttery salmon. Portion-wise, it's on the smaller side, which makes it perfect for a light lunch or as an appetizer to share.

Despite this, we were seated at a table for four without enough chairs, and had to ask for an extra one. The food took a long time to arrive, and service throughout the meal was minimal at best. With oversized plates and a table too small for our group, we spent the whole meal squeezed together. No one came to clear plates until we stacked them ourselves just to make room. Food quality was hit or miss: - Uni crab creamy udon: Small portion. The udon itself was fine, but the uni was the least fresh I've ever had -- disappointing ingredient quality. - Shabu shabu soupy udon: The beef was plain and underwhelming. The ingredients didn't compare to what other Japanese restaurants offer for shabu shabu. - Chicken katsu don: Solid -- met expectations for the dish. - Kakuni don: The pork belly was too greasy for my taste; didn't enjoy this one. - Matcha almond tofu pudding: Perfectly balanced sweetness -- a genuinely good dessert. Overall, between the poor service, cramped dining experience, and mediocre food quality, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to friends or return myself.

The restaurant is small but quite clean inside. It looks like they recently renovated. The service wasn't as good as some of the other reviews suggested, but it was pretty much what you would expect from a typical Hong Kong café--very casual. We ordered the chicken with vegetables. There was a good variety of vegetables, and the portions were quite large. However, the plate was so small that it was difficult to get to the food underneath if it wasn't on top. I don't understand why they couldn't simply use a bigger plate, which seems like the easiest solution after a renovation. The prices weren't as good as we had anticipated. Maybe we just didn't order the right dishes. They also offer dish combos, but instead of letting you choose the dishes, they have set combinations to choose from, very limited choices.
