It pains me to call out a small business owner during difficult times but during our last two visits to the store there was a staff member that was not wearing a mask. I assumed the first time that the staff member had forgotten but on our second visit when I was greeted by a staff member without a mask I enquired and was told that they were not required to wear masks. Instructions on their door spell out the customers obligation to wear a mask and I had hoped they would respect the safety of their customers and do likewise. Too bad we can no longer support this local business.

Ranch Fresh is good - the store is spacious, brightly lit, clean, well organized, well ventilated, cheerfully decorated. The fresh meat is really fresh. Just like other Asian supermarkets, most fresh meat items are sold by weight behind a butcher counter. There is some prepackaged meat if you prefer to grab and go. There is a big produce section with great varieties. Pricing is higher than its sibling store Field Fresh (Scarborough) and just about the same as Full Fresh (Markham). I cannot comment on services, because I didn't require any assistance. There aren't many Asian grocery stores in Newmarket. I trust Ranch Fresh is a good addition to the neighbourhood, providing diversity, variety and convenience.
