We were there near closing time and three other groups came in around the same time and Josh was the only person there and he maintained his composure. We weren't going in ready to purchase but Josh sold us without pressuring. Mancini's had different brands to try out in store. Josh encouraged us to try out the different beds to make sure we get what we want and he presented a good deal as we've researched online prices prior to going to the store and found it comparable. He knew my situation; and still led me to believe I was getting a mattress that was soft or maybe medium. It was in fact EXTRA FIRM. It was like lying on cement; I could only stay on it for a short time and it flared my whole body. We had long conversations about what I needed and why. I had cancelled an order for a Casper Slate firm because it was FIRM. David and I discussed why I needed soft/medium, and he still led me to believe I was getting soft/medium knowing it was extra firm. Buyer Beware: Check your surroundings after delivery. I ordered a mattress on February 21 and it was delivered on February 23. The delivery people were loud, unprofessional, and they damaged my light switch (see photo). Because I didn't report it within 48 hours (I went on vacation the very next day and foolishly thought I could deal with it when I got back), they denied my claim. My light switch still works, but I still need to come out of pocket for someone to fix it so it's aesthetically pleasing. The delivery men also initially didn't put on the extra risers for the bed (even though it was on the paperwork), and when they ultimately did, they didn't put the felt casters on the bottom. They also almost forgot to give me my mattress cover. However, these customer service failures are not to detract from the sales experience I had in the store (that was 5 stars and shout out to Joshua and Daniel) but the whole delivery debacle tainted the entire encounter overall. read more

During the delivery 2 of my door frames and 1 wall corner were damaged and the delivery was not completed due to a misunderstanding about exchanging the box spring. The delivery staff left the mattress I was exchanging in the living room , leaving me to sleep on the couch until the new mattress could be delivered again. The store and chat agent were both unable to help me and still charged me the $107 restocking fee. Worst shopping experience ever, I strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from Mancini's - don't do it!! We highly recommend working with Jerome at the Pinole Mancini's Sleepworld. He in perfect fashion got us to the right mattresses to consider based on our initial expressed interest and subsequent feedback we would give him on a recommended mattress. As noted in one of the earlier reviews, he knew when to walk away (not hover) and be available as we would be ready with more questions. Bottom line, he was professional, patient, and skillful at getting us to the right mattresses for what we were looking for and we found him to be very knowledgeable and informative. Furthermore, if there is a deal to offer, he will do it. As a store practice, I appreciated the offer for something to rest your head on while lying down (essentially your own personal disposable pillowcase) and have water to offer. Came back a few months after we got a couple of pillows bc the case shrunk. Josiah was super helpful, nice, and knowledgeable!! He knew exactly which one we had just by looking at it! He let us know not to use any heat on it when washing and to air dry for 24 hours. Also! I didn't notice this at the time but they close at 8 and I'm p sure we went in either right at 8 or close to it and he wasn't rushing us at all. A++ customer service. Less than 1 Star for Delivery drivers blocking handicapped parking in front of memory care- both illegal and uncool guys! I was shocked that he genuinely wanted to help me with no ulterior motive. I informed him that my wife and I haven't been sleeping well and need to upgrade or mattress. He asked me my sleeping habits, if I get hot at night, and sleep positions. Once that was established, he showed me mattress that he would recommend. Daniel, the manager is helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and provides excellent customer service. The other Daniel is equally friendly and great with customers. I prefer to shop at local vendors but don't always do so due to lack of customer service. This has not been my experience with Pinole Mancini's. What an amazing experience. Walked in, NO PRESSURE. Just information. Tried lots of combinations, couldnt decide which one and then finally settled on the L1 Black Mattress. OMG. First good sleep in 10 years. thats when I moved my McKrosky Matteress into storage and move to Mexico. 5 Years later, I returned to a horrible furnished home with a European Sleepworks mattress that literally almost put me in surgery for my lower back issues. Now, with Mancini's help, I am sleeping on air. 2nd night is TONITE. Feb 23, 2020. Oh and the delivery 99.99 was amazing too. They guys were in and out in 1 HOUR. Start to finish. My experience with Mancini's is totally different than the experience I had 24 years ago when I left never to come back. Years ago I purchased from Mancini sleep world in Pinole and was not very happy with the outcome in the end. Fast forward many years later I just decided to step in there one more time to see what they had and met Daniel the store manager. After talking and getting to know him a little better I decided to give Mancini's another chance. We are people who spend a lot of money on beds and we prefer comfort and sometimes price doesn't matter. From day one I decided to go back in and purchase our beds Daniel and his staff such as Joe and Joshua are the most professional people I have ever seen. We purchased our beds we did our monthly trial I should say and the return was zero hassle and even easier than I expected. They even done a lot of extra for us and they did not have to. In the end we wound up with two purple mattresses one being in the Cal King and one being a queen for our RV. Also we purchased a Airloom cover which is very expensive but it can make any bed very comfortable. Purple mattresses are very comfortable anyways but it just added a little pillow top layer for us. I am now a dedicated customer to Mancini's and Pinole the service and respect that I received from that store was over and beyond what I expected. I to have a business and I get the same type of reviews of five star is very important to have them. You will get probably the best customer service you'll ever get from any store here at Mancini's.
