I rang this company do to do a one of clean for my mums friend who has just come out of hospital,…read moreShe was so impressed, the company sent two cleaners, they provided all their own materials, they washed ironed and replaced the bedding ( took it way with them and replaced the following week ) and charged her £28. I personally think that is outstanding money for the quality, time and efforts put into the job. They have a web site http://www.montoncleaning.co.uk and they were efficent, friendly and above all professional.

I had used MCS on a prior occasion to do a one off clean a couple of years ago and found them ok so…read morearranged a 4 hour deep clean of my house on the day before the estate agents were coming in to do a valuation. First of all, I had a very hard time arranging the clean in the first place. Never got a call back when they said they would, then informed me that they would not be able to do the clean on the day arranged 2 weeks previously after all. When the two cleaner eventually turned up I was very disappointed with the standards. The cleaners were asked to pay particular attention to cleaning skirting boards and harder to reach areas, but I'm not sure that this was really done at all. There were quite a lot of smears on surfaces where dust had clearly been dragged around with a wet cloth. They hadn't even bothered with areas like under the handles of the kitchen cupboards or to hoover under the bed! Having paid £56 for 4 hours work I would really have expected a better standard, especially considering that the house was not exactly filthy to start with. I specifically commissioned the job because I have a small baby and did not feel that I would have been able to get the house to a standard of cleansiness that you would expect from a professional cleaning company by myself whilst looking after baby. As it happened I spent all the followig morning re-cleaning everything. I had on a previous occasion commissioned 2 hours' cleaning and I didn't feel like much more than this was done in 4 hours. All amateurish at best. To top it all off, I e-mailed to complain 2 weeks ago and never heard anything back. The only recommendation I would give about Monton Cleaning Services is to AVOID! The previous (very good) review appears to be several years old and when I commissioned them the first time about 2 years ago I would have agreed but things seem to have gone very very bad. I basically gave them £56 only to have to do my own cleaning the next day anyway. Very very poor.

Worst company for flooring, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! First of all the company came out to my house to…read morequote me on my flooring, the sales man promised me they could lay my vinyl flooring all in the same direction. The fitters arrived on the day, they were very rude and they do not help to move anything if you can't move things yourself, they complain if they have to wait while you move things on your own. They then laid my flooring all in different directions. I complained and they said they would fix the mistake that had been made but not with out a big fight. They then came out 2 months later to fix the problem and laid two different coloured vinyl down, I complained once again and they said they would not fix it and that is what the vinyl is like and can never be matched in colour, I refused to accept that explanation and insisted they come and have a look, they came to look and agreed they would fix it and agreed I would get the darker vinyl that I liked. They came back today with the lighter vinyl and basically forced me to take a product I was not happy with and laid the flooring. They told me if I don't accept the vinyl as it is they would leave all the rolls of vynil at my house and they would not come back and fit it, basically they forced me into taking something I was not happy with. After they had finished fitting the lighter vinyl they left huge big cardboard rolls in my garden and left all the offcuts for me to dispose of, regarding the door bars, one of them is already loose and going to come off, they screwed my doors off and when putting one back on, they screwed it on incorrectly and it wouldn't close, I had to screw it off myself and re put it back up! Don't bother with this company as you will be disappointed and be treated badly when things go wrong! I have been patient with them and even with it being 3rd time lucky, I have not been lucky at all and I am still forking out a lot of money to pay for cheap quality horrible flooring which will probably not last, this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had! Big company's like this should not be able to get away with treating people like this, it is shoddy workmanship and bad customer service. My advice is to AVOID
