Well, let's look at AMS Man and Van's glimpse into my personal life. They moved me into Withington with a boy who was horribly wrong for me. Drama. When that predictably hit the fan, they moved me out into my own little place by myself. And last weekend, they moved my husband-to-be and me from our respective flats we were keeping on into our lovely, amazing new Ancoats apartment. And they're just ruddy brilliant. I wouldn't trust anyone else with the ins and outs of what's going on in ELH World. So first of all I hate moving, and (I always say this) I don't plan to do so again for a few years. No matter how well organised you are, it's always stressful. I can't think of anyone in the world who likes it. But these guys take at least 50% of the pressure off, and boy did they have a job that day. First stop was Fallowfield, where they brought all my stuff to us, unloaded it into our new place, then they hotfooted it to City Road East and did the same with Chris's stuff. This move included furniture, bags of clothes, heavy electric goods, the whole shebang. They had all the relevant equipment to make the move easier, they started at 8.30am and were done by early afternoon, and all we then had to do was decide where all our stuff went. Simples. Flexible, friendly, great prices, and they handle your stuff with care. Awesome guys. I'll definitely be giving them a call next time I move, which hopefully shan't be for a looooong time.

This week a friend of mine who I was helping during his flst moving hired SK removals van and 2 men…read moreto help transporting all the stuff. I would likevto start saying that firstly they sent a van, a "kid" who had phobia of lifts, and a man with a strong scent of alcohol. The moving took literally hours as the "kid" did not help at all taking the stuff down because ofvthe lift phobia so the other man had to do it all himself. Once half of the stuff was inside the van, both of them dissapeared without showing any signs of life. My friend called them and said they were still loading things in the van. When we went downstairs we found the van locked without any of them in. After more time waiting and having to contact who I think was their "manager" that did not give a damm about it either, the man and the kid arrived. They started bringing the things inside the flat, complaining about everything (including the quote for the service that the manager gave to my friend). They ended uo breaking a light that my friend will have to repair himself as its been totally destroyed. And they left a wardrove downstairs as they said it wount be able to get in. My friend ended up having to carry some stuff by himself as the other man asked him as the "kid" who had phobia of lifts had damaged his finger... Also there were some randomnthings missing like the stick from the mop living only the mop but no sign were the stick that was attached to the mop were gone. Never seen such an unprofessional service like this ever. I would not recommed the services from this company even to my worst enemy. They made the whole moving a nightmare, ruined all the excitement he was having about the new flat and made from the whole process such a negative experience. Please avoid this company.
