Then I realise that actually there isn't a huge bird scrabbling at my window. It's actually just the window cleaning boys from Spotless cleaning making my windows are all clean with their super massive long window cleaning poles. It's really good, because now I will have a better, less dirt-obstructed view of the car park I can see out of my bedroom window. In all seriousness, these guys travel in packs of 19-year-old looking scruffy boys and it follows that they would be quite intimidating. Surprisingly, they're really quite polite and just get on with the job of cleaning windows. Good work.
