Domestic clients, like myself, even get the chance to pay for their flooring weekly and on a 0% finance, and I have never heard of that before. They have a small stock to takeaway but promise a next day delivery from their suppliers. I live locally, but they cover all of Manchester and supply to businesses also. So I am going to be booking my free measure and quote shortly.

An awful experience with Walton Flooring Centre…read more We visited Walton Flooring Centre to look for laminate flooring for our guest bedroom. We found a model we liked for a reasonable price and were told by the salesman that we could call back the following day to pay a deposit and place the order. We spent the following three days placing calls and leaving messages to try to pay the deposit. No answer at all at the shop and no returned calls. Very poor service and enough to convince us that we had a lucky miss! On the fourth day, we finally received a call back from the salesman who explained that they had been "busy!" He then had the cheek to demand that we pay the deposit as he had "ordered materials". The following day he made a threatening call saying they would go to the small claims court for the deposit! This was despite admitting that no order had been placed. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! (We ordered our flooring from a competitor who are little more expensive but are approved by the Office of Fair Trading so we feel far more secure with them.)

The initial lay of floor was a messy by them. No communication between managers or indeed floor layers. The manager at Wavertree has no customer skills, no apologies and is argumentative. If you want a good job doing and expect coutesty I suggest you look elsewhere. If a response from company is of "not correct" I am happy to post further info. Manager has no management skills!

When I said I was only after cost for fit and not supply he got very belligerent with me in front of my wife and kids and stormed out of the house. When he got into his van driving off a threatened to beat me up if he saw me in warrington again. The staff were knowledgeable and approachable and gave us advice on how to minimise spending (by taking up the old carpet and disposing it ourselves, save the carpet grips, etc). They also advised us to sign up to their newsletter emails to get a further 10% off. They also offer a free delivery and fitting services if you buy some fancy underlay too. Arranging a fitting was stress-free and we were contacted by phone regarding an update on time on the day. They were professional and quick and left no mess to clean up. We had freshly painted skirting boards and no scratches were left whatsoever. Overall, a great value and professional service that leaves a beautifully fitted carpet!
