From the outside looking in this establishment does not look to be the highest quality of places but once inside my opinion altered dramatically. Inside the store there was a large range of carpets and the quality on the whole seemed to be of a high standard which was good to see. As well as good quality products they had good quality staff who found the right balance between being pushy and helpful. I had ventured inside this place with my parents but the service left me feeling as though I should come away with a product of some sort so this must speak volumes for the way this place handles its business. On the whole a good quality establishment which serves the residents of Prescott road with professionalism and dedication.

All the top quality carpet makers books to look at and he can get most types of carpet in stock within the week. This place is a family run firm who can compete on price with the biggest carpet retailers. But the real plus point with these chaps is that they use their own fitters and they'll obviously be able to help with technical stuff given their expertise. They have a fabulous local reputation and its well deserved in my opinion. They also have a good sized carpark which isn't obvious from the street but worth knowing about. Also they are very negotiable on price I've found and its worth haggling a bit. They have a bathroom division which I've heard good stuff about - I think its run from the same building but its actually a separate business.

When I said I was only after cost for fit and not supply he got very belligerent with me in front of my wife and kids and stormed out of the house. When he got into his van driving off a threatened to beat me up if he saw me in warrington again. Carpet and furniture departments are middle of the road and old hat for todays taste, with the same old wiltons that have been around forever. There curtain dept is good, but the factory shop is here so for anyone that lives in St Helens thats the place to visit first. (for anyone who doesn't know there trade name for textiles is Richard Barry) Its one of those shops that years ago had a bit of snob value attached to shopping there but we all want value for money and although you do get personal service you do pay over the odds for it.
