Tried all the taxi services in the city of Manchester and this service is far and above the absolute best. Way better than the metered taxis (And much quicker and more dependable). They have clean luxury cars and the drivers are well-groomed and dressed professionally. Also the drivers know exactly the best way to get places. They are very knowledgeable of the area. They have a courteous 24-hour, live dispatcher. If he tells you 15 minutes, they arrive in 15 mins! Their fee to most places in the city is $12 flat. read more

Terrible service took 45 minutes longer than it should and I payed before. Still waiting for my car and it's 12:07 am. Just take a cab or Uber, save yourself a wretched hassle. read more

I have used amoskeag black car a couple of times to get me to the airport, but only once from the airport, and usually the drivers are friendly and very helpful. But this past time they never told me what car to look for, how much it would be or that there is a different price for whether you are getting picked up or dropped off. When I was picked up the man was rude from the start, saying harshly "did you not see the plates" after he got out of the car asking me my name. From there he was very non conversational and when I said can you take me to an atm because I forgot to get money while inside the airport he just sighed and said yes. While driving me to my location he was driving very poorly, running up on people, swerving around cars going slow. When we finally approached my apartment he stopped the car and said that it would be 25 dollars. I then told him I thought it was only 20 and that's what I paid going to the airport. He then said "no you didn't think that, it's 20 to the airport and 25 from the airport" and then he accused me of trying to scam him and that I new it was 25 and he got out of the car and angrily got my bags from the trunk muttering under his breath the whole time about me scamming him. Once I got into my building I called the dispatcher to see if I could pay them the extra 5 dollars and he was just as rude as the other guy saying he doesn't care about 5 dollars and that I should have known that it was 25, even though I was never told the prices and only had my memory to go by. To finish things off I would have to say that 75% of the time you will have an okay experience but that 25% has made me never want to use their services again. read more

These guys are the best, the dispatcher is very polite and knows me by name and always asks how I'm doing (I would say I'm a regular) the drivers are also great guys, the very many times I've used them they have only been maybe 2 or 3 minutes late once or twice so I can't complain. Not to mention you feel like a star pulling up to your work in those luxury cars! read more

NEVER EVER using their services again. I called them to pick me and a friend up at 9:45 pm in Allenstown, NH. He showed up 50 minutes later. I almost saw it pointless to leave at that point. The driver didn't park in front of my house.. i have a lengthy driveway and he parked across the street and around the corner. Didn't appologize or anything. Was not conversational at all..which is fine i don't mind but we felt like we were talking to a brick wall when we asked him questions. We finally get there and they charged me $40 ONE WAY to manchester...10 miles away...a little too much but okay. I call them to pick us up, as we approach my house he didnt want to go in my driveway because it started snowing while we were out and he thought he would get stuck. Which is fine but i told him i have to get the remainder of his money so he sighed and pulled in. I paid him the remainder of the $40 and went inside. He did end up getting stuck and had to get pulled out. Thats not my fault. A real taxi cab company should provide their workers with suitable cars for all types of weather. Really though...rear wheel drive is not enough..we were swerving on our way home. He then proceeds to LITTER on my property by leaving a bag of salt in my driveway and a note accusing me of getting him stuck. He could have waited for me to run down and get the money. Don't call these people unless you enjoy being late...waiting forever...ridiculously high prices...unfriendly drivers...and overall HORRIBLE service. read more

At first, I enjoyed using the Black Car Service for transportation around Manchester. Unfortunately, I have had a few money-related issues with this company and this third one was the final straw. The first incident was over the summer in August. I needed a ride to the local bus station here in Manchester. I had a lot of luggage and could not walk with it from my apartment. When the driver dropped me off, he charged the usual $12 flat fee. I only had a $20 and he conveniently did not have change on him. I had no time to go to an ATM. I had to over pay him by $8. Now, $8 may not seem like a lot to some people, but to a college student working multiple part time jobs, that could have been put to better use. Second incident was on Black Friday. I was called into work earlier than scheduled for an emergency. I asked the dispatcher if my driver could take a card, and he said yes. I get to my destination in a timely manner, but as the driver was swiping my card, he then decided to inform me that there would be an additional $1 service fee for his card reader hooked up to his phone. Yes, only $1, but still a tad irritating. Today, February 10, 2016, I needed a ride to my doctor's office over in Bedford. I set up my pick-up/drop-off/return the previous night. I asked if they drove over to Bedford, and he said "yes", without explaining any possible additional fees. I had $30 in all $5's on me. I was talking to my driver and mentioned these instances. He became upset that those drivers charged me extra. Apparently the first driver was known to not have change and the second was unrightfully charging me extra without the company's knowledge. When we arrived to the doctor's office, I asked if the fee was $12. The driver thought about it for a moment, and said "yes". I gave him 3 $5 bills, $15 total and he gave me $3 in change. Then, after my appointment, I waited about 20 minutes past the original pick up time for my driver. I completely understand that school had let out so there was an increase in traffic. The driver was able to return me to my apartment in a timely manner, but hit me with a $20 fee. I explained that the previous driver only charged me $12. Obviously not convinced, and hinting that I was lying, called his dispatcher. The dispatcher confirmed the $20 AND said that I had paid the previous driver $20 with a $10 and two $5. NOW PLEASE EXPLAIN WHO IS LYING HERE? How can I possibly pay with a $10 when I only had $5 bills? I explained to my current driver that I could only pay at most $18. He took my money with an attitude and drove off. I called the dispatcher, Cory, whom I have spoken to many times before and pretty sure he knows who I am since I would use them so often, in hopes he would understand my frustration. Nope. He stuck to his original story of me paying the full $20 in a $10 and two $5's and said that driving to Bedford cost $20. Needless to say, I was just a tad on the angry side to have had my money stolen for a third time. *Any additional fees or change in fare due to location of destination SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED WHILE SETTING UP MY TRIP OVER THE PHONE. NOT and I repeat NOT dropped on me at drop-off. *In all, this company owes me $15. Last time I use this company. read more

AWFUL! Called at 3 PM to order a car to arrive at our hotel at 7:15 for a concert...Sat and sat. Called them at 7:25 and was told the driver was 15 minutes away. The concert started at 7:30! Another car from the same company showed up for another group at 7:35, so they crammed all 5 of us in one car and STILL charged BOTH groups the quoted fare. (DOUBLE fare for ONE car!). We were told to call at the end of the show and they would pick us up at a local bar (Murphy's). When we called they said they wanted us to walk to the Radisson (Which is over 1/2 mile away) to meet the car- it was 3 DEGREES OUT! We said no so they said they would be there. OVER AN HOUR later I called again- the dispatcher said "you should go to the Radisson- the drivers said the street is blocked off" Well, every other car in New Hampshire was driving back and forth on that street including hotel shuttles and Manchester Cab Co Cabs. (Should have called them). AND guess what- they AGAIN crammed 2 groups (5 people total) into the car and had the nerve to charge each group a fare AGAIN. They did not ASK us if we minded, they made us cram unsafely into a car and then charged a double fare for one trip. I would NEVER use them again and would STRONGLY discourage others from using them! read more
