Took Concord Trailways from Concord to NYC. Seats are very comfortable--plenty of room, spaced out, much more comfortable that even premium seats on a plane. Travel time is no more than any other means of getting to NYC and you can work/read/watch video the whole way. read more

Concord Coach lines is not pet friendly. They state that Federal Law prohibits pets but do not cite which law. It's interesting that if it's a federal law, other operators must in violation or Concord Coach lines is using this as an excuse without citation. Logan Express bus, MTA and many others in the area allow small pets in carriers. What's so wrong with allowing a small pet in a carrier. read more

Definitely do not leave your vehicle at the Concord Coach bus terminal in Concord, NH. This is a catalytic converter thief hot spot. Happens regularly and no warning on the website or at the Concord bus terminal. Cameras are only on the building for commuter parking spots and not cameras for long term parking. No security and parking area does not get patrolled frequently by state police or local police. read more

LOTS of thanks to this place for saving me the headaches of having to drive alone back to Logan Airport in Boston, cause those were some CRAZY streets!! For only $18 I was able to board the comfortable, cool and clean bus from Concord to Logan Airport. I can't even get from downtown San Francisco to the Richmond District for that amount, much less two different states! Incredible!! The driver was nice, and the trip went without a hitch!! Service performed adequately, BUT passengers are required to print their tickets. Showing up with an electronic-only ticket requires a stop in the office to show ID and pay a $2 printing surcharge; one then walks out the door 10 feet to hand it to the driver. This is a ridiculous inconvenience to the customer, particularly in my case where I had no printer access before my trip. The suggestion that ID is necessary to confirm before printing a ticket in the office is inconsistent; passengers traveling with pre-printed tickets don't show ID to the driver before getting on the bus. Rather, the surcharge is likely meant to deter passengers from arriving without printing tickets beforehand. Finally, and most frustrating, the headquarters printing fee is not obviously advertised in the confirmation email. That is unacceptable. This is 2014: why is a paper ticket necessary at all? I board planes, pay for dinner and buy music with my phone; why is an electronic ticket on my phone not good enough for Concord Coach Lines? read more

This is a really great bus line for getting to and from Logan Airport or South Station from NH. Their buses are always on time, clean, offer wireless & plug ins for your laptop and some even have TVs. Best of all it's not usually too crowded (except for during the holidays) so you have space to spread out and be comfortable. I suggest purchasing your tickets ahead of time online, as it makes for faster service and sometimes they do sell out. read more

Horrible service, I bought my son a ticket from Rockland ME to Bangor ME. He told the agent he had no idea what he was doing as he had never traveled on a bus before. He was sitting in the lobby when the bus came and went with no announcement, and nothing from the agent. I am a disabled veteran and it is extremely painful for me to drive, but I had to drive the 5 hour round trip to get him in Rockland because Concord Trailways, can't even get it together enough to make a simple announcement that the bus has arrived and is loading for points north. Absolutely stupid. Guess who won't EVER be using their service again!! Totally pitiful for a bus company!!! read more

One star for ruining my day. I arrived early for an 11 am bus, however the bus (which was already late in arriving) allowed all passengers for Logan Airport on ahead of other passengers, including Logan passengers who arrived after me and were behind me in line. The bus filled up and there was no solution offered for stranded passengers except to wait for the 1 pm bus two hours later. It seems like other bus companies I've traveled with will try to scramble another bus instead of just telling you "sorry." Too bad. I've always had a good experience with them in the past but had no idea this was their policy. read more

Never Again! Actual pickup location in Plymouth, NH is different than Concord Coach publishes. The bus just drove by me and I had to hire a car service to take me to Logan to catch my flight. The car service cost $275 and requested reimbursement from Concord. Concord has basically told me to sh_t in my hat. Wish there were other options for the area. read more

Concord Trailways is quick, reliable, clean and no-nonsense. It is my preferred mode of transportation from Concord to Boston - it will take me to Manch Vegas, South Station and even Logan Airport. I have taken Concord Trailways to and from places all over the northeast on a fairly consistent basis for the past six years. Their fares have gone up recently in response to increasing gas prices, but the prices are still competitive and well worth it for such comfortable accommodations and the frequency of their schedules. I think there's one bus model that's slightly more cramped than others, but the majority of the buses have ample leg room and all of them have very comfortable seats. Concord keeps their buses very tidy and the drivers are always pleasant, helpful, and very committed to getting you where you need to be on time (and more often than not, early). For public buses, you cannot ask much better. read more

I have always received excellent service from the ticket counter and the drivers. Their service is fantastic, the coaches are very clean and the prices are very reasonable. I use the Concord to Logan Airport route most often and you simply cannot beat this service for the time, headaches and traffic it saves not to mention the parking costs at the airport if you had driven yourself. Concord Coach Lines is an adequate bus service, unless you are traveling during a peak travel period (e.g., school vacations). The company does not have a plan in place to address high volume travel as was the case last night. We landed at Logan Airport at 9:30PM and boarded the 10:25PM New Hampshire bound bus at Terminal B2 which arrived on time. By the time the driver completed his last pick up at Logan, the bus was full to capacity and there were still passengers to be picked up at So. Station! The driver pulled the bus over so that he could step out and call his supervisor. When he got back on the bus, he told us that his supervisor said that the So. Station riders would have to spend the night in Boston. (He should not have shared such information.) Off we went to So. Station wondering what mayhem would ensue when those riders were told of their situation. When we arrived at So. Station, the Nashua-bound bus was still there. That driver came on board and asked if N. Londonderry passengers would volunteer to go with him. We agreed. So the Nashua driver and passengers moved the luggage from one bus to the other - which took more time - and off we went to Tyngsboro, Nashua and finally, N. Londonderry where we arrived at 12:45 AM. A final issue with ticketing. Neither drivers asked for our tickets! I went out of my way to print the ticket confirmation before checking out of our hotel because, as the purchase agreement indicates, you must agree to print a ticket confirmation in order to ride Concord Coach Lines. However, there were several people on the first bus without tickets who had to go into So. Station to purchase as well as two young men (one on each of these busses) who had no means of purchasing and were on the phone with parents trying to figure this out. The Nashua driver even got on the phone with a father himself! It is unfair to delay the majority because of the few who choose to ignore ticketing procedures. The policy should either be enforced or eliminated. In the future, we will drive a bit further to Portsmouth and use C&J Bus Lines, a much more efficient and professional operation with busses running on the hour, before dawn and well into the night. I encourage others in southern NH to consider the same. read more

I've taken Concord trailways for years to get from Manchester or Concord to Boston. Most of the time it has been easy, safe and reliable. However, the last time I used it recently, it was a little disconcerting. We arrived at the station at 9:15pm on a Saturday. I was scheduled to be picked up by family at 10pm but that was not a worry since another bus was coming in at 11:15 I figured I would just hang out in the station until then. Problem: the station closes down before that. When my bus arrived it was locked up and no one was around. Now, the area isn't that dangerous, but it is sort of situated where you can't go anywhere easily on foot, so it was a little isolating and I didn't feel that safe, especially when a few random trucks drove in and out of the parking lot. Had I been aware that the station closed down so early, I would have made better arrangments. I think the website should state something clearly about the station being closed when that bus arrives. Also, the last trip out of Boston is at 10pm? On a Saturday? Especially with late flights coming into Logan, it would be nice to have later options. But other than these things, it is a cheap, clean and safe (driving) way to shuttle to and from Boston. read more

I took the Concord Trailways into Boston for the first time and what a wonderful experience. The driver, Keith was super friendly, the bus was clean and comfortable, and even had a headphone jack on the seats for listening to music provided by the bus company. The personnel at the station in Concord, NH were very polite, respectful and helpful; not to mention the station was super clean! The trip home from Boston, MA to NH was also enjoyable. That bus didn't have headphone jacks, but that wasn't important. The driver was also polite and friendly and made me feel welcome. In between traveling on Concord Trailways, I went to SC on Greyhound and nothing...nothing will ever compare to the Concord Coach ride. read more

Unreliable Service!!! Just because you are sold a ticket, doesn't mean there will be room for you on the bus! I purchased two tickets from Concord to Logan Airport for 11 AM on July 29th for my son and his friend. The bus arrived and they began the boarding process. In the middle of boarding the driver stopped everyone and said the bus is "full." The Concord staff was ill prepared to help the 10-15 passengers who were left stranded. There was no manager available as "Eric" works Monday to Friday. None of the limited "solutions" provided by Concord would have helped my party arrive on time for their flights. I have traveled in 3rd world nations where their bus service is more reliable and organized. Concord should be embarrassed at their lack of professionalism. read more

Horrible experience. Inept, unhelpful staff. Next time I will be renting a car. First, the man at the counter in Concord overcharged me for the ticket. He was slow and rude, but eventually corrected it. After so many mistakes, I will be double checking my credit card statement to make sure he really removed the charge. Then, when I got to South Station, they wouldn't accept the ticket Greyhound had sold me just a couple hours before. They said they didn't know why Greyhound kept selling those tickets. By the time I got shuffled back and forth between counters and the terminal, I missed my bus even though I had ticket bought in advance and 40min to transfer. Next time I will certainly be renting a car. read more

I've been taking this bus for 9 years was born in boston and moved to concord.....................i think of all the times i took the bus we were late maybe 3 times and only by 5 or 10 minutes.......................I have taken the bus over a 500 times over the last 9 years and highly recommend it read more

Quiet and clean ride. Be on time to catch as the bus leaves promptly on its departure time. Only downside is the wifi struggles to keep devices connected and the bus is always on average 15-30mins late to your destination. read more

BAD BAD BAD!!!! First the bus was late. After sitting there for almost 2 hours the bus came and went with no announcement. When I went to the desk that's when I was told that it had already left. I had 2 tickets to a baseball game, which I now couldn't use. Not to mention my time. When I called to complain, the mgr. asked me if I saw the bus arrive.....well I saw 3 buses arrive. Didn't know that they were just going to sit in the office and not do the job they are paid for. If I knew they were NOT going to do their jobs I would have went out and asked each driver where they were going. But silly me thought it was Brain surgery to pick up a mike and say " Announcing the arrival of greyhound bus #?. " or when it left to say " Now leaving greyhound bus # For? So I think the day cost me over 65.00. AND they gave me a 5.00 travel voucher. WOW! Guess that's a fair trade....lol They need to be replaced by kiosk. Atleast it does its job..lol. read more
