Enjoyed this experience even if it was just a random find! We were actually looking for a place to eat and suddenly stumbled upon this location. You are supposed to get a reservation but I guess there were extra bikes so we were able to get squeezed in which was great. It was a nice exercise and also an enjoyable scenic adventure. It was unique and we got to meet other people along the way. They give you a pretty good distance from each other so you can go on your own pace and not worry about how far others were. read more

This was definitely one of the big highlights of our vacation to New Hampshire! We had never seen anything like it and it's such a clever way to make use of an abandoned railway. It was absolutely beautiful in the Fall riding with the beautiful trees on each side. We loved crossing over the metal bridge and also seeing farms along the way. You get to stop on a small island and walk around while the carts are turned around for the ride back. I'm embarrassed to say that we did feel really 'out of shape' by the last half of the ride. Our legs were feeling the burn. I don't think someone with knee issues could handle it because it does involve a lot of pedaling in a seated position. My husband has arthritis so there were times when we took breaks from pedaling and coasted a bit. It's quite a long ride, so allow about 2 hours. We are so happy we had this experience and will never forget it! read more

Definitely worth the hype! We went out at 8:30 AM and done by 10:30 AM. Very clear directions from kind staff. Easy to find parking and facility. Once we started, we weren't near any of the other groups. It was nice to explore the spaces with just our group. It was about 6 miles of biking total, which was very manageable with breaks while the bikes were turned. There were many families doing it, too! We went in the fall, so the foliage was beautiful. We had a great time on the scenic railriders. The staff was very pleasant and helpful throughout the entire ride. The scenery was lovely with plenty of shade along the way. It was easy enough for our kids to pedal even by themselves for a bit. We would recommend and do again! read more

My family brought me for my birthday this past weekend - They have two seater and four seater Rail bikes - highly recommend for a fun couple of hours outdoors doing something active but not too strenuous up in scenic and historical Concord NH with friends, a date or family! read more

By far one of the coolest things I've done after living in NH for 28 years! The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Not strenuous at all and its a pleasant and easy "bike ride". There are a couple of breaks along the way as they need to turn the carts around. We did the 8:30 am tour and it was really nice. Highly recommend this as a fun activity anytime during the year and Concord is an interesting city to check out with some great restaurants. read more

For three people - we booked a four seater and had two peddlers and one toddler with us. As a parent, it was great to see my sons initial excitement however the tour was not as kid friendly as the website made it seem. You actually get off and then they turn the car around twice and then you get off to cross a busy road once. When dealing with a car seat - it wasn't the greatest. This WAS discussed on the website and by reading it I knew what to expect and still wanted to give it a try but on our particular day it was harder than I thought to do. I think what made the stops so difficult was we did get stuck behind a very slow family and all of us on the tour (behind this family) got stuck either not even pedaling or going very very slow - so adding stops in to get off just seemed like no fun because we wanted to RIDE! Be aware, this can happen. I'm glad we gave it a try but probably wouldn't recommend to another family with young children. Staff was informative and friendly! read more
