    Birria tacos.

The tacos were good. Flavors kind of blended together so I couldn't detect anything that really stood out. Nice lunch for 10.00!

YALLL NEEED TO GET HERE, like TODAY. The quesabirria tacos on this truck are next level! I'm not new to this hype, birria tacos are everywhere now! But dare I say, these are the best ones I've had so far? Definitely the best in little ol Fairfield! They're packed with meat, cheese, onions, cilantro and FLAAAVAAA! It's a nice touch that they come with a free side of consome (broth) for dippin and sippin. Usually I have to add lime, onions, salsa, everything to get the consome right but this one had so much flavor as is, my mind was blown! I tried the chicken and pastor tacos too but they just don't compare to the quesabirria. I think the meat had too much cumin or oregano for me. I would skip this and try something else the next time. What's a taco without a horchata to wash it down? These only come in one size, big af! Lol seriously though, they only come in a 32 oz size but they're $3. You can't beat that. The horchata tastes like a blended arroz con leche (rice pudding). It's sooo sweeet and cinnamony, it's like like drinking a dessert. The flavor was on point but I could have used a little more ice to get the drink colder. It's a must share item, otherwise you'll have a total sugar rush. I will get this every single time!! The truck is actually just a little trailer that parks in the smart and final parking lot near the street side. Follow them on IG to get location and hours of operation as this can sometimes change.

Mami Chuy Tacos popped up in my FB Solano County SFC and saw a post for birra ramen and it was enticing enough for me to drive down to the food truck and get some. Unfortunately, they got booted at their S&F plaza location and they're across the street by by Walgreens, which is a better spot underneath the shaded trees. This is an unassuming food truck presenting a smaller menu but quickly delivers great flavors! Was there for there ramen, but they sold out...so we ordered two of their 3-queso-birra taco combos which included grilled onions, jalapeños/carrot/radish side pickles, and their mouthwatering dipping sauce, husband couldn't not get enough of it and killed his order under a minute. The kid enjoyed their el pastor quesadilla w/ a side of sour cream and avo/guac dip! Loved the freshly diced pico as a bonus! Also ordered up some refreshing piña aguas frescas and horchata. They're honoring a more simplistic no-frills menu and commits to a flavorful and scrumptious bite. The hubby & kid truly enjoyed! Support your local business! The two person team shows their hard work and dedication in their food! Muchas gracias and we'll cya again soon!

Yummmyyyy! Support these amazing ladies. Fresh, delicious food, very friendly, and the tacos were not greasy at all. I really enjoyed trying their food. Will be going back!

Amazing Birria tacos and great price! they are located across the gas station near travis bank!

Birria Tacos were amazing, price was great and the owner was very nice! would highly recommend!! google says they are by smart and final but they moved across the street from the gas station/in the parking lot of travis credit union!

The quesabirria tacos are so good! The tacos were slightly crispy with the perfect amount of beef topped with a generous amount of chopped onions and cilantro. The consome was hearty and packed full of flavor. Highly recommend! They typically are open until they sell out and they do sell out! Make sure they visit their truck. You won't regret it! Visit their Instagram @mamichuy_quesabirrias_ to find their location, days and hours when they are open. Also, they only accept cash.

Cheese quesadilla. Comes with sour cream, guacamole and a little side of pico de Gallo.

The quesadilla was perfectly toasted and cheesy. The tacos were really good and really tasted homemade. I'm 100 percent coming back here no where else.

My husband reminded him that he asked when ordering and I again referenced the menu saying 1 basket is included,he said the policy changed and there was a sign on the wall somewhere. My husband had asked for his chimi to have red sauce and I had asked for mine with green, they both came mixed with both sauces on them. The red sauce wasn't very good and it was weird being mixed. My chimi wasn't very well cooked, kinda doughy in the middle. We didn't get a receipt so we couldn't reference the amount we were charged for each thing, but by menu prices it should have come out to about $55. The amount they charge was $80. $80 for 2 chimichangas,a beer and a ranch water and No chips??

Walking in, I was immediately greeted with smiling and welcoming vibes from the ladies at the front and told to take a seat wherever I'd like to sit. The hit for me is that MENUDO is available on a non-weekend! I've been craving it and when I ordered it (on a Tuesday), I hoped it would be fresh and it was! The broth was savory and flavorful as is but with the added oregano, dried peppers, onions, and cilantro to my liking- it just made it even better! The best part was that you can either order it with pata or no pata. Shoooot, you don't have to ask me twice! I said I want the pata hahahaha that with tender and not overcooked tripe was just what I was wanting! If you love menudo, this is a place I'd recommend and go to get it regularly. The MICHELADA MARISCADA is tasty! It's a mixture of seafood in a sweet and tangy sauce. For those who do not like spice, this is a great option. I was with someone who doesn't like spicy food and isn't a big fan of Mexican food but MAN! she killed the entire plate! So now we have a place that we both can really enjoy together. Will be back!!

The chicken quesadilla really set it off for me as well. It was flavorful, nice portion size and I enjoyed the dip that came with it also. The Lows: The food was kinda expensive. It was about $60 for a to go order of 6 tacos and a quesadilla and a drink. While the food was good, not sure if the price was worth it considering all of the other Mexican food options nearby. Also, the tacos didn't come with any sides (rice, beans, etc.) which was unfortunate for the price. The In-Between: We found this place on Instagram based on a video review someone did. The parking was a little tough. The service was cool for our to go order.

Unfortunately, the food is where things fell apart. When I walked in, I asked if they had a super burrito since I didn't see it on the menu. The gentleman taking my order said they did, so I ordered a carne asada super burrito. A regular burrito on the menu was listed at $8.99, but my super burrito came out to a little over $16 after tax. I also noticed Yelp lists the super burrito at $10.99, so maybe the prices have changed, but that's still a pretty big jump from the regular burrito. The burrito itself was huge, but after the first few bites, I was honestly disappointed. The carne asada was unusually stringy and fatty, which isn't something I've ever experienced with carne asada burritos before. I kept eating, expecting to get to the guacamole, sour cream, and salsa, but by the halfway point I decided to cut the burrito open. It turned out almost all of those ingredients were packed into the very bottom instead of being distributed throughout. The guacamole also had a sour taste that didn't seem right. I also noticed the burrito I received looked nothing like the photos posted here on Yelp, so I'm not sure if the recipe has changed since those pictures were taken. As someone who loves burritos and rarely passes one up, this was, unfortunately, one to forget. The free fountain drink and chips were a nice bonus, but they couldn't make up for the burrito itself. I genuinely wish this restaurant the best because the staff were excellent, but the food just didn't live up to my expectations.

We were able to sit down right away in the bar area so that was nice. Our waiter came over pretty quick to see if we wanted anything to drink. We ordered some waters, a Paloma, and a beer. He came back shortly with chips and salsa and waters. We took a few minutes before we ordered and for our order we ordered the Birria tacos that came with beans and rice and the enchilada and Tamale with beans and rice. The chips were fresh and the salsa was really delicious. It was just enough spice in it and the flavor was great. Our entrees came out shortly which was pretty fast. The Birria tacos were fresh and hot, the flavor was great, and the dipping sauce completed the tacos. The Tamale and Enchilada was also delicious. The Chicken inside the enchilada was tender and tasty, the tamale was also fresh, tender, and cooked perfect. The highlight of the meal even with everything tasting great already were the beans. The beans had so much flavor to them, and cooked perfect. I don't know what they put in the beans or how they make them but, they are the best refried beans I've ever had. Our waiter was really good, I didn't get his name but kudos to him as well. The place is really big inside and has outside seating, with a bar area as well. I asked to add jalapeños- they said that would cost an extra $2. That is crazy. I know food prices are rising but jalapeños are still inexpensive - I've eaten at hundreds of Mexican places - not one ( except Taco Hell - Bell- ) has charged me for jalapeños. So after taking my order he told me to come back in 15 minutes - like standing there and waiting was going to cost them money - how rude. Another bad 1st - being told I can't stay and wait for my order at a place I ordered from - WTF? Also the prices are too high - I can get burritos in San Francisco for $12 and they're great - as I did yesterday at a street fare - I thought $7.95 was too cheep for a burrito - but $18 in a small town? The burrito better be best tasting ever - writing this while I sit in my car. When I walked in the restaurant it was quiet - Saturday at 8:20 pm in the summer - was dead and it still takes them 15 to twenty minutes to make a burrito? That is crazy. So the ambience did not impress me that's for sure. What could improve? How about treating your customers who come into a place for the first time nice and not ask them to come back? How about not charging for jalapeños when every. other Real ( Taco Bell in NOT Mexican food) Mexican restaurant does not charge for them??? Update - the young man who took my order seemed like he did NOT want to be there - and was not attentive. When I picked up my order there were two women who were friendly and nice to me - so I added a star. The burrito itself - the beef had a excellent taste and the refried beans were good ( yes - I have had bad refried beans before ) so the burrito tasted good but on the bland side as no salsa was inside the burrito. Etc when the first guy took my order and told me jalapeños were an extra $2 I said no to the extra but did request extra salsa - all I got was a small - very small container - I like my Mexican food spicy - and this was not - tho had the potential to be great with some heat - spice - the salsa/ more of a sauce than salsa - had an excellent flavor but no the mild side for me but if had a lot of it - it would have worked as it did have a good to excellent flavor - so it gets only two stars - had excellent potential to be great - but initial bad service from the male staff and charging for jalapeños and very little salsa killed it - can not recommend
