Not the cheapest, but pretty reasonably priced overall. We tried the coconut dark chocolate haystacks and laffy taffy. The haystacks were really good. So much dark chocolate and nuttiness. The laffy taffy was alright. Prone to melting even at room temperature, but the kids enjoyed most of the flavors. There's also a gas station - very convenient!

More than a convenience store it is a gift shop offering hot food, desserts and bulk candies of all types to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth... it is a specialty shop where you can order fresh sandwiches and other made-to-go items and get your hands on chocolate, beef jerky, nuts, snacks like popcorn, dried fruits, wasabi peas, and more salty treats, and of course, ice cream and just about any type of candy you can dream up. We shared a beef burrito... it was good. The banana split was yummy! They also sell stuffed donkey toys and other souvenir merchandise but you will also see real donkeys there sometimes blocking a gas pump LoL! This is definitely a one-stop shop for gas, candy, ice cream... and donkeys, if you're lucky to find them there while passing through Beatty in Nevada. We were promptly seated at a comfy booth and our ordered taken. My wife got eggs, fruit, and rye toast with a decaf coffee. Her fried eggs were perfectly prepared and she enjoyed the fruit bowl. I went with the original slam with scrambled eggs, sausage, and soft bacon. My bacon was cooked the way I like and the pancakes were hot with the butter ball melting on top. The pancakes though are the size of a dinner plate and I couldn't finish both. Service was great and friendly. The food was all well prepared and delivered quickly. My only complaint was spending $40 on breakfast for two.

Driving by, my brother and I thought, wow, that place doesn't even look open and it doesn't look like it would be very good so we went to the Candy and Nut place that we were there for, we shopped and on the way out, we asked people that worked there and they all said it doesn't look like much but is really great inside. So back we went and Yeah, it had quirks. The waitress was super friendly, I am sorry I didn't get her name.. It was small with about 10 tables. The one we sat at was super wobbly and the floor was stained and I thought, well, this is going to be interesting. I liked the deco--old photos of old stars, cars, old coke glasses, very unique and looked it up while we waited for our drinks, its been there for 60 years.... I got a soda and my brother a coffee. He said it was good. I got eggs and hashbrowns and he got the same + bacon. Served on a paper plate (I laugh because we don't use plates at home) but it was good. we saw burros walking by. The bathroom was private (Outside on the side of the building, like a gas station might have) and it was clean... it locked. I did hear a burro walk by hooting, that was, well, a hoot. Everything we purchased was good, though the pistachios were not as fresh as they could have been. The staffer was very kind and the whole operation is actually inside a small trailer. There was a good amount of people stopping to get items. They are just off a large road so there is quite a few people who decide to stop last minute so it can be a bit dangerous.
