This maman in sunset harbor is my fave. The service is great and has so many tables to sit inside or outside. The food is top notch too with specials and baked goods. I've tried their lattes and matcha lattes all very good. My go to fave is the papas breakfast bowl with potatoes bacon avocado and an egg. Tried their waffle today and it was so good. Not very big but perfect enough. All in all you can't go wrong here. Never feels crowded and never a long wait which is so important to me. And it was 12 pm on a Sunday!

Super cute place inside. Great service. I had the Vegana croissant, pleasantly impressed by its texture and flavor. I had the Matcha latte, a little underwhelmed on the sweetness, it was very bitter... added a little bit of extra honey and it was perfect.

I went to Maman Sunset harbour late afternoon and I ordered pistachio croissant, nutella beignet, and cheddar scallion scone. They were all delicious. Service is great, especially at the counter. It is a French Cafe based in New York City, serving baked goods, gluten free pastries, breakfast or lunch like salads, sandwiches and quiches, specialty coffees, teas, refreshing drinks and also wine. This French cuisine and France inspired atmosphere have a warm and inviting ambiance. It is a perfect place to unwind, and have a relaxing day to escape the humidity and heat of this Miami weather. Can't wait to try the Maman's famous nutty chocolate chip cookie next time. Check it out!

This NYC born & bread (haha, see what I did there) bakery, coffee shop, and restaurant has taken Miami by storm and I'm here for it! After visiting the Wynwood location with my work bestie a few months back to remote work, I knew I had to visit this location when I was in the area after seeing it pop up on Yelp! Parking for this location is similar to anywhere in Miami, metered parking right out front if you're lucky -in this case, I was! It's easy to spot and a beautiful space to walk into. I am absolutely enamored by the decor, color scheme, and elegance this place gives off. We were warmly greeted by the staff when walking in and they let us take our time as we perused the pastry case (which had so many goodies to choose from). The two girls up front were so helpful (wish I caught their names) and I could tell one was training the other; she was so helpful and patient with both us and the trainee. Good service is always noted when experiencing a business and it was exceptional here! Now onto what we ordered- pistachio chocolate croissant (my absolute fav ever), nutty chocolate chip cookie, strawberry & cream beachball, kouign maman, and the cheddar scallion scone. If you know me, I also got the iced matcha latte but this time with honey lavender. Everything was 5 stars! I recommend getting the pastries warmed up as it'll add to the experience and was the only note my partner gave when eating here. The inside is spacious and has so many seats to work from or relax at. Overall, a great location and love that they have multiple now in Miami! If only they were closer to Broward!

I tried the chicken kale salad, a fruit salad and a plain croissant. The croissant was delicious and fluffy. The chicken kale Caesar salad was just ok- I thought it was really over dressed and wished they left the dressing on the side. The also forgot the extra avocado (I was refunded for it). The fruit salad was supposed to come with mint, granola and almond butter but didn't have any of those things. The fruit itself was fresh and sweet- but I wish it came with the toppings I thought it had. A few issues with the order but it wouldn't deter me from coming back again.

I'm a huge fan of the Manan in Wynwood so I was stoked to find out there was one opening in Miami Beach. It opened a few weeks ago and I came by for a Sunday bite. Maman is in the Sunset Harbour area, really cute decor just like all their shops. Lots of seating in the cafe and all of your same favorite pastry and food items. Staff was kind. Ordered an iced latte and my favorite sandwich - the catalina's veggie sandwich. It comes with grilled halloumi, zucchini, smashed avocado, jalapeno celery & cilantro salad on sourdough and it's one of my favorite sandwiches. Sadly, the iced latte tasted like burnt espresso and the sandwich was not edible and had to send it back. The zucchini was old and overcooked - it was mush. There was barely any halloumi and it was hard and cold. I headed to the Wynwood location right after this as I stayed with the sandwich craving. I posted pictures of the generous and nicely cooked halloumi vs the small shreds and old veggies in the Sunset Harbour. I hope this mishap is due to their new opening and hoping in the future the coffee and sandwich will be fresh and better quality.

I've been to the Wynwood location, first time visiting Sunset Harbor. Very cute shop with outdoor seating. Great place to people watch and chill out with a cup of coffee and some healthy-ish food. Great options for the salad, and I love the seasonal additions. Big fan of the tumeric latte.

Been to a few Maman locations and this one wasn't the best. We went around 3pm and ordered a chocolate chip cookie and banana bread, both were kind of hard. I think they had been out all day and became stale. For the price of their pastries, everything should be fresh and taste as if it were just made.

    My yummy French breakfast !

First time visiting this charming cafe while visiting Miami Beach... The esthetics of the cafe were very unique. While enjoying my vanilla/oat milk latte and croissant egg/bacon sandwich, I enjoyed the view and was comfortable in the seating area. They also offer self serve water. The water also had wedges of lemon and mint.

Went for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy but we were seated right away. Tables are definitely close to each other. Good menu with lots of choices. I had the orzo salad without feta, good portion and flavorful with olive dressing. Hubby had a smoked salmon everything croissant , little small but good. Place has a mixed crowd, some families and some typical Sunset Harbor types. Would definitely come back. Waitress was nice and attentive.

Tried this place for breakfast, the coffees were served in cute teacups and saucers. The food was great! And the bakery looked like a slice of heaven!

The bread wasn't toasted though and a bit thick, so that could have been improved. Escargots: A classic. Loaded with butter, garlic and herbs. Lots of bread offered on the side to soak up that goodness and enjoy a snail on top. Le Tartare de Bœuf: A huge portion! Though I prefer my tartare a little less minced and more like finely chopped. It felt like a lot of small things that added up enough to leave us all feeling meh about it. We made a reservation and were right on time. We were told our table wasn't ready so we waited outside due to the entrance being extremely tight. It was a super chilly and windy night so that wasn't great. I went in to ask after almost 15 minutes and they immediately walked us to an open table, which felt weird to not have called us back in despite the table sitting vacant. The ordering process was fine and the waitress was informative and chatty enough that we commented about it when she left after taking our order. Things then kind of randomly took a turn. They served our food with a few dishes coming out super quickly. One more came out and not long after, all plates were cleared, even though one - the tuna tartare, wasn't done. We all were so taken aback and slightly distracted that we didn't really react and then kind of all asked "was there not a ton still left on that plate?" So we assumed whatever was coming out was coming soon and we were in great spirits and celebrating "NYEE" so we let it go. For the rest of the night, we struggled to flag down a waiter, and just overall felt like we had done something wrong. It was super strange and took away from the night. It took over 20 minutes before our last entree came out. I understand veal can take long to prepare, but they could have notified us or spaced it appropriately. The pasta it came with felt a bit like an airplane pasta - felt very thoughtlessly prepared. Another note on something that stood out- plates are out on table and were never swapped out when we were brought our food. Even if there is turnover quick enough that it doesn't sit for long, I would rather not have my plate out in the open to then eat off of. My thinking is that it must have been an off night because I haven't heard anything bad about Semilla. However, it was a bummer enough that it has me second guessing if I want to come back.

However, when the bill was presented, those items were included, which created a very uncomfortable and confusing situation. In fact,…read moreas I've given other places 5 stars already, I feel that this place should be given a 6, to show that it's really better than the other ones. Definitely a gem. The restaurant is hidden inside the Cadet Hotel, and hidden is the word because even when you are in the lobby you won't know where the restaurant is. It's up a small, unmarked flight of stairs. The restaurant itself is small, with about 10 tables and half of them two-person, so probably can fit no more than 30 people. However, this little gem has plenty of charm, cozy and not stuffy at all. Feels like you are in a little restaurant in Paris. For Miami Spice, appetizer choices include truffle celery risotto, duck confit and foie gras. Main dishes we had the cod fillet, lamb chop and duck l'orange. Dessert is floating island, a Pavlova with a creamy sauce and berries. I won't go into detail, as I probably will just be repeating the words "delicious" "flavorful" "delish" "heavenly" "excellent" over and over. Suffice to say the meat is succulent and cooked just right, I relish every bite, and it's good to the last bite - something which actually is quite a feat, as sometimes dishes that are delicious at first bite can get salty or boring as you eat on. Patrick the sommelier gave us a good recommendation. As we ordered different dishes, it's hard to pick just one bottle, but the barolo he selected manages to go well with most and amplifies the flavors of the risotto, the duck and the lamb really well. The regular menu lists most entrees around $35, and the well selected wine list has many good but lesser known wines for $50 to a few hundreds. Reasonable prices, I look forward to be back even when it's not Miami Spice month!

First, this is a restaurant where you come for the amazing service, quality food, and something different type of food. This is not your typical everyday restaurant and it is more on the high end side. The restaurant is inside a hotel and parking can be limited, but you can walk a little to the parking garage or pay the parking up close. Service: let me start with one of the best things about this restaurant. The waiter comes and gets you as soon as you come into the hotel/restaurant entrance. They will be on top of you if you want or need everything. There was a guy there that suggested us a great red wine selection and we of course got the bottle. We did not have to wait much at all for anything. They were constantly coming to check up on the food, if anymore wine was needed, or anything else.. Food: the food was definitely high quality food. You come here not for the portions, but for the different options they offer. You come here for the top of the notch ingredients. The taste of the food was delicious, not overpowering, and all the ingredients went well together. My husband got the PAN SAUTEED FOIE GRAS for first course, SHORT RIBS MARINATED IN BURGUNDY WINE AND SLOWLY COOKED for second course, and of course the FLOATING ISLAND Poached Whipped White Egg, Crème Anglaise, Fresh Berries for desert. It was all perfectly cooked and delicious, the short ribs we soft and the flavor was just on point. I got WILD MUSHROOM RISOTTO for the first course, DUO OF BRANZINO AND SEA SCALLOP Vegetable and lemongrass sauce .. Branzino  Butter Dulce Flakes Sauce ..Scallop for the second course, and the same desert as my husband for the third course. I really just enjoyed it all, the flavors of the sauce along with the vegetables not being overcooked or under cooked. The chef in the back just played it all so well together. The ambient of this restaurant is small and cozy. This is a place for date night, or talking to an old friend you haven't seen. This place is small, so reservation is a must. It is a restuarant where you can actually hear the person in front of you without having to scream over other people or the music. It is a great place because once you are done eating you can walk Lincoln road or go walk the beach if you'd like. I would not kind coming back here again for another date night. Service was great, food was delicious, and I enjoyed the cozy quality restaurant it really is.

This place truly caters to all your senses -- from the elegant ambiance to the incredible flavors and presentation. Let's start with the desserts -- not only are they stunning to look at, but they actually taste just as amazing as they appear. The rose-shaped cake we tried was a work of art, and when we cut into it, the cake was perfectly moist and flavorful. Huge kudos to the pastry chef for hitting the mark -- it's rare to find desserts that are both picture-perfect and delicious. My husband and I both ordered the eggs Benedict, and they were cooked to perfection -- rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated. And the coffee? So good that we all ordered an extra one to go! High off an excellent brunch, we left ready to explore Coral Gables and already talking about when we'll be back. Bouchon Bistro is a must for anyone who appreciates exceptional food, service, and presentation.

This Miami location is a 2-star restaurant which I personally think is overrated compared to the Tokyo location. It's not very hard to get a spot if you reserve ahead of time. It's located in design district of Miami. There's another Michelin 1-star restaurant located on first floor and Joel Robuchon is located on the second floor of the same building. We reserved bar sitting and was seated near the end corner of the bar. They have both set menu ($195 for 4 courses) or a la carte. We ordered a few dishes from the a la carte menu to share. We were firstly served with bread and a complimentary fois gras appetizer. Their bread is the best especially the smaller ones! We got refill for the small savory pastry. The free fois gras appetizer was a bit too greasy for me, nothing special. For sharing plates, we ordered fois gras with fig, veal sweetbread and hamachi. The fois gras dish was well-flavoured. The other dishes were ordinary. I was expecting the food to impress my taste buds more from a Michelin 2-star restaurant. For mains, we ordered the bison fillet Wellington, halibut and sole. Both fish dishes were amazing but I didn't like the flavour of the bison dish. This restaurant is clearly much better with seafood dishes than meat dishes. They provide us some dessert for both dine-in and takeout at the end, and they were all tasty. Overall, the service was attentive and the vibe was quiet here. However, for $200-$300 USD per person, the food is not up to standard comparing to other Michelin 2-star restaurant when I expect to be wowed by the cooking. It's not very good value for money.
