We had just checked out of our hotel and headed to the airport and looked for a breakfast place nearby. Saw this one and I'm very happy we tried it! Very good! We had the Protein Banana Nut Pancakes and an egg & cheese breakfast croissant. Both were very delicious. The pancakes had flaxseed which helps with digestion and it can be a strong seed to cook with but they did an excellent job! Heads up for out of towners- it's a restaurant with a walk up window where you order and take your food to go. They have a tent to the right of the restaurant where they have about 5-6 tables for you to sit and enjoy your breakfast but no indoor seating. Today me & my sister went to Tasty Beach & we thought it was just a bakery type of place to get some mega yummy sweets. NOT AT ALL. They have a WHOLE menu!!! 99% of it is vegan friendly but my sister loved her Spicy Veggie Chicken Club & my Tuna Melt was amazing!!!! We grabbed some sweets to go & once we were able to eat them they were gone in a blink of an eye. I got a Cinnabun & she got Nutella S'more. The staff was awesome too. I'm thick (lol) so when I told them the chairs outside were too type they brought me a different chair. Our waiter (sorry can't remember his name) was nice personable & mega funny. I've been to this establishment twice. The food is good. Parking can be a pain depending on the time you go. This area can get congested. The shop is pretty small and cramped when it's busy. The service is decent. The pastries look amazing on Instagram and social media but flavor wise I wasn't blown away with anything sweet I've purchased here. Everything tasted kind of mediocre in the pastry department. The Nutella Oreo bun didn't have much of a Nutella flavor to it, but it's a cinnamon roll so you really can't mess it up. WOW. What a hidden gem! This place is absolutely spectacular! Such a fun little breakfast spot. Such friendly staff, many of whom have been working here for 20+ years. I discovered Tasty about 5 years ago, and have been a fan ever since. I drive over 18 miles to enjoy their extensive menu!! It's amazing how large their menu is, despite such a small restaurant -- and the size of the restaurant is only a downfall if you're impatient! But know that if there is a wait, it's worth it...(TIP: you can take your meal 'to-go' -- they deliver as well. I live too far away to enjoy that service ). The size of the restaurant actually reminds me of the small hidden gems in NYC. The staff has always been friendly. I've even silently praised them for the way they handle some of the insane entitlement I've witnessed coming from Some of their guests. bravo. If you follow Tasty Beach Cafe on Instagram or decide to come here because of the many Miami foodie influencers that come here, prepare to be deeply disappointed if you aren't a "said influencer". The presentation of the food and quality is no where near as consistent as their many jaw-dropping insta posts, which is very sad. I almost feel cheated in a way. I dined in for breakfast this morning with my hubby, and we ordered a few different items. Before I get into detail on each item, I'd like to state that service was fine, and the food did taste good, but just a normal average good, and unfortunately nothing to write home about. The restaurant is tiny, so prepare to rub elbows with other tables & shimmy your way to your seat. We ordered the: -Breakfast Potatoes with Caramelized Onions, and unfortunately they were greasy, and way too much paprika. We didn't even finish them, and I'd never order them again. They were also luke warm. -Miami Heat Egg Wrap, which is suppose to be spicy and warrant the fire sign on the menu. This dish barely had any jalapeños, sriracha or hot sauce in it, which made the dish very mild to say the least. We had to order more sriracha because of it. - Honey Butter Cheese Biscuit: probably the biggest disappointment on the menu & ridiculously overpriced at $8. This biscuit was so bland & barely had any cheese in it. I was expecting it to be ooey-gooey like the photos on Instagram & I didn't get one string of cheese to flow out ! I also asked about this biscuit immediately upon sitting down because I did not see it on the menu, and the waiter said they were being prepared now & might be out of the oven by the time our meal was done. Excitedly, we asked him to let us know when they were done, thinking we'd hit the jackpot with the warmest, freshest biscuits, and we were unfortunately very very wrong. The biscuit was also Luke warm and had sausage in it? Not expected & not a happy surprise. This item is WAY overpriced . I would never order it again, and I do not recommend it. It should be $3 TOPS and that's even a stretch. -Cookie Dough Pancakes - $16, and also VERY VERY overpriced. I mean 2 pancakes with a small smear of edible cookie dough on the top pancake for $16? That's pushing it WAY over the edge. Additionally, this item looks absolutely NOTHING like the naughty fork video . That smear of cookie dough is so weak, and does not even go the entire width of the pancake like it does on their other Instagram photo of the stack of pancakes more recently posted. This item was good, but definitely not worth the price. Overall, our breakfast was edible, but very disappointing. I will not be returning for this $60 breakfast anytime soon, and no we did not order mimosas. read more

This place is a mad house during the weekday lunch crowd, I can't even imagine what it looks like on the weekend! I've been wanting to come to the Tasty Beach Cafe for brunch for quite some time now, since I always see food blogger The Naughty Fork here, but I did manage to check them out for lunch last week! After being in the area for work purposes, I saw they were down the block from where I was, and opted to pop-in for a to-go order. After reviewing their menu, I chose the Grilled Veggie Melt, but instead of the french baguette, I requested it on a whole wheat wrap. It consisted of roasted portobello mushrooms, eggplant, zucchini, peppers and grilled onions with melted mozzarella. I was able to place my order quickly, but thankfully I did to-go as there was not one table available. Granted the place is tiny, but I still couldn't get over the amount of customers here! Service was decent. Can't say they were the friendliest, but at-least they weren't rude. My order was ready within 10 minutes. The wrap was decent, and the veggies seemed fresh, but definitely way too much cheese for my liking. I can't say I was blown away by the food, but I will give them one more chance for brunch. read more

TBC is a Must, have to go place to stop at when you're in Miami Beach and it's surrounding areas for whatever reason. Food, service, and location are all on point and even waiting for a table to become available is not a drama filled experience. Here's the rundown of what four lovely ladies and I indulged in: Fruity pebbles pancake: unassumingly delicious and addictive Nutella & fresh strawberries pancake topped with vanilla ice cream in a hard chocolate shell drizzled in chocolate sauce: dessert for breakfast? Ummm yes please! S'mores French toast: this was so light yet decadent! Nutella stuffed chocolate muffin: chocolate with hazelnut chocolate... Need I say anything more? Cheese Danish: great balance of savory and sweet Cherry cheese danish: every bite had cherry and cheese in it S'mores croissant: to die for! Spinach quiche: a very generous portion will very well balanced seasoning and texture Truffled scrambled egg & mozzarella toast: soft scramble with a nice hint of truffle and served in Zak the baker bread! GF avocado, eggs and veggies wrap: just insanely delicious Loaded breakfast potatoes: loved that they used tons of paprika in this dish! Strawberry and feta salad: fresh ingredients and vibrant colors! Avocado triple decker with cheese, tomatoes, grilled onions and yum yum sauce on brioche: that yum yum sauce just makes this sandwich come alive! Pink dragon fruit smoothies: If you order nothing from what I gorged on above, you must order, at the very least, 2 of these! You'll thank me later :) Absolutely nothing fell short in taste, texture, flavor, seasoning or presentation. Service was a well fine tuned machine and turns out almost all of the staff have been with the restaurant since its inception 15 years ago. Because Miami can be such a transient town, not many establishments can say that about their staff. Disgusting racist business. They asked me to leave because my baby was upset in their tiny suffocating restaurant. My baby was NOT screaming or having any Tantrum!!!They still decided to charge me after I spent my time outside as they Forced me to do while my food was sitting cold on the table. I was outside in the Miami heat standing up and breastfeeding my baby because they kept sending different employees to ask me to go outside. They didn't give me the privacy to nurse my baby. It's against the law to ask a nursing mother to leave. It was traumatic. Yet I was still Patient and did what they asked but I messaged him to resolve the issue in private but he denied everything, called me a liar and is still threatening me!!! Their instagram got me, and I was so excited to try this place for Brunch. Their menu has so many options it made it difficult to narrow it down to just one thing. Their stellar item was the fruity pebbles pancakes. Not only were the pancaked HUGE, but they also had white chocolate chips. Highly recommend it, & I am not even a fruity pebbles fan. I got one of the items on their special menu, the waffle sandwich and I loved how sweet the waffle was. The sandwich had cheesy eggs and special potato slices that were delicious. We also got a Nutella stuffed chocolate chip cookie. It was big and oozing nutella. The only item I was not a fan of was the caramel macchiato. It was way too sweet and I barely tasted any coffee. Some points to consider are that it's a very small place. We came with our daughter and they offered us a booster seat for her. Strollers are not allowed inside. Their's a parking lot right next to the establishment that is $1.35 an hour. Service was kind. read more

the food is very good but you get less than you used to for more money. But I was not treated properly. I was the first customer at opening and asked to make a take out order for members of my family. While I was waiting I asked to be seated to eat something. They refused to take my take out order and insisted that I make the take out order as part of my own meal. I asked why it had to be this way and was given an answer I couldn't understand.
