The only thing I didn't like from the chicken bowl was that the brown rice was hard. Both meals were less than 500 calories each and had around 30 grams of protein as labeled on the container. The pricing is also not bad at $10-$15 each. I got these from Too Good To Go, so for both bowls it was $8. This is a market concept, so you just grab a bowl from the fridges and pay for it. The variety is good as well. Parking is street parking.

It's not exactly traditional Japanese sushi in the strict sense, but the sushi is made by Japanese chefs who clearly have a solid foundation and understanding of authentic sushi technique, so I can eat there with confidence. There are barely any sushi restaurants around here owned and operated by Japanese people, so this place is really valuable to have nearby. Every time I go, I'm greeted by friendly Japanese older gentlemen, which honestly makes the experience even better. I'll definitely be back again next week!

The Breakfast Burrito ($16) had scrambled eggs, tater tots, bacon, cheese and pickled jalapenos ~ loved it. Even more than the burrito, I liked the Egg & Cheese Sandwich ($12) which seemed simple with just egg, cheese, chives and mayo but goodness! I loved the fluffy ingredients and the bun was buttery smooth, as well. Excellent breakfast! Convi has a few outdoor tables where you can chill & gather with friends. This restaurant is in Culver City, yet my order arrived in about 30 minutes, which was really impressive. What surprised me even more was that the chicken was still incredibly crispy when it arrived. It was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I also loved the packaging. The pink box immediately caught my attention because I've never seen chicken served in such a cute box before. It honestly felt like I was opening a gift! Every sauce was delicious, but my favorites were the Yangnyeom sauce and the So-Much Hot (K-Fire) sauce. The K-Fire sauce was addictively good, and I couldn't stop eating it. The Yangnyeom sauce tasted just like authentic Korean fried chicken sauce--actually, I thought it tasted even better! I'm a huge fried chicken fan, so I've ordered from a lot of different places. One thing that really stood out was how clean and neatly everything was packaged. Even the containers for the pickled radish and coleslaw were sealed and packed perfectly, which made everything look fresh and trustworthy. The chicken itself was outstanding. The outside was very crispy, while the meat inside was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. I'll definitely be ordering from here again. This has easily become one of my favorite fried chicken places :)

Loved it enough to try more and tried their chicken protein meals (a league of legends special: top, mid, adc, support, and jungle). Support was my favorite. Highly recommend!! This place has the best Korean fried chicken I've ever had. 10/10 easily. I'd come back to this establishment just for it. They have bone-in and boneless options. Both are well breaded and very crunchy when you bite them. Like VERY crunchy. You could hear someone take a bite into it from across the room lol. Naturally the bone-in chicken wings are juicier but both types were wonderful. They locked in the juices SO WELL. You can also get sides with it (coleslaw, pickled radish, etc) and they complement the chicken really well. The kimchi fried rice is a solid dish here as well. They give you a lot for what you pay for. It was enough for me to finish it over two meals. It's well balanced and not too salty. The egg goes really well with it. We liked it enough that we tried their chicken protein meals. If you're a gamer like me, then you'll love these creations! They're named after the different lanes/assignments you can play in League of Legends. Chef Kelly was a chef for professional e-sports teams, namely LoL which is really cool. There are 5 chicken protein meals: Top (original dak), jungle (gochujang dak), mid (bulgogi dak), ADC (bul dak), and support (dak-twigim). Top, jungle, mid, and ADC all have very generous portions of chicken that are prepared with their own sauces. They come with a big scoop of rice and side as well. My favorite was Support! It has K-style cutlet which is essentially fried breaded chicken (no bones). The picture I attached doesn't show all the pieces that you get because I was so happy eating it, that I forgot to take a picture lol. As for ambiance, it's a ghost kitchen. Meaning there are a lot of different food concepts/restaurants under one roof. There's no seating available. People just pick up the food and leave. So there's a lot of delivery drivers coming in and out of this place. Overall, highly recommend! Give it a shot! Chef Kelly aspires to create high quality, premium Korean fried chicken and she definitely hits the mark.
