I ordered the 8 piece jumbo shrimp combo, I asked the employee to toss my shrimp in their lemon pepper hot sauce ( if you order online you don't get the option of adding their sauces to anything but the wings). I also ask for garlic Parmesan on my fries. SO GOOD!!! My husband got the 15 piece boneless wings, they were out of the bone-in. I originally ordered the grim reaper sauce for him but when he got there the food wasn't quite done yet and they let him sample some hotter sauces, so he was able to change the original order. He also got a large Cajun fry. So far the food has been really good. I've never had a tossed shrimp before and decided, what the hell? I think I found a new favorite place. Next time I want to try the fried fish tossed in a sauce. Oh and the shrimp truly are JUMBO!!! The price wasn't bad either considering all the extra charges for the sauces and seasoning, $36. I mentioned it to the cashiers, and they immediately took care of it and thanked me. What really concerned me was seeing the general manager use a piece of wrapping paper to grab a pepper from a container of liquid, with his bare fingers going into the liquid. I was actually going to buy one of the peppers, but after seeing that I decided not to. I started thinking about my wife or anyone else buying and eating those peppers, so I felt like I should say something. I told the manager what I had seen and suggested they use tongs. He told me they had passed their inspections and that I should see what they do at Burger King. I told him the inspectors didn't see what I saw and then left it alone. When I got to my vehicle, I realized they had given me the wrong order, so I went back in and politely asked to exchange it for what I originally ordered. The manager corrected the order but put it on the counter and walked away without saying anything. I decided I didn't want the food anymore and asked for a refund. The manager made me wait while he was on the phone, ignored me when I asked him to take care of my return, and eventually went into his office. When he finally processed the refund, he never ended the phone call, never even looked even at me. A new employee witnessed the transaction. When I said I felt he was being disrespectful, the manager told me, "You're disrespecting yourself." When I reached for my receipt, he told me, "If you put your hands on me, it's going to be a problem." I explained that I was only reaching for my receipt. I then left. The manager followed me toward the exit and said he was coming to escort me out, even though I was already leaving. I believe the food-handling concern should be taken seriously, but just as importantly, customers should be treated with basic respect when they bring a legitimate concern to management. The way the general manager handled this situation was completely unnecessary and left me very disappointed with this Popeye's location.

She informed me there was tartar sauce in both of the bags when I got back to my truck and pulled away of course there was no tartar sauce.
