The acai here is way better than California. I was surprised. I got the layers of paradise with mango cream and boy, that hit the spot. The acai mix with mango, honey, and granola hit so good on a hot day. The acai is ice cream texture. The ones in California is liquid and melts too fast. I give this acai a 5/5. You can't leave unless you get the cheese bread. It's so hot and cheesy and it was amazing. Overall it's not much to say but 4.7/5. The service is pretty fast for only 2 people and they're super friendly. It's a grab and go type ambiance and overall I recommend this place.

They are right outside Schofield Barracks on the back side near Kemo'o Farms Pub and Grill. This was my first time but their menu and pictures made it easy to decide what I wanted. If you're paying by cash you pay at the window. Otherwise there is a tablet for you to place your order and pay. I went with the Aloha Bowl because it had all the fruits I like in it. The bowl also included honey and I had the option of no honey, honey or agave. I just got the large bowl for $16.90. They do offer two sizes and I was very happy to see the calorie information on the menu. It was ready in about 5 minutes. There are tables there with a nice view of Wilson Lake but I took mine to go. When I returned to my office I dug in. Everything was perfect! Bananas, strawberries and blueberries were all nice and ripe. I did appreciate the amount if banana. The acai was nice and cold and had the right amount of sweetness. I ate it all and really enjoyed it. I deducted a star only for the price. It's definitely higher than other places I've seen but I will definitely return again, just maybe not too often.

The chai is pretty sweet on its own so I add 2 shots of espresso to cut thru that sweetness and add a teeny bit more caffeine to the drink. They also have seasonal drinks that stay for a few months at a time. My favorite seasonal drink was in the summer -- I believe it was a haupia latte (cold foam on top was sooooo good with the coffee). Food: If I order food, it'll be the bacon burrito w/sauce. They also have other sweeter options for food (mochi waffles, avo toast, etc) Of the countless times I've been to Surfer's, there's a mixture of people - some locked in doing work, others catching up with friends, people reading their Bibles, tourists passing through checking out a local coffee shop, etc. Because of this, it can get pretty loud for a coffee shop, so just FYI if you plan on going there to do work! Overall, love Surfers :) Great vibes, amazing staff, and I'll always keep coming back here Parking: Back lot parking (located on Ohai St) or street parking (Kam Hwy) WiFi: Yes | Bathroom: Yes

The 100% Kona for 1 pound was $89.95 so we settled on buying an average priced bean called Hawaiian Hazelnut for $27.95 a pound. They offer to grind it for you too if you need it. We ordered some delicious cold brew and macadamia latte. While we waited they offered samples of their coffees. We then grabbed our drinks and headed outside to check out the coffee trees. We loved the little hei hei chickens in the grass! This was such a cute quaint place to check out and I highly recommend so you can support local and buy some fresh coffee beans!

Established by Howard Green in 2008, it offers free self-guided tours, a cafe with espresso drinks, and free coffee samples. The farm roasts its own coffee daily, producing a smooth, low-acidity brew. My friend, Sheryl M. had insisted we stop here for our coffee and what an amazing recommendation. The coffee farm aspect alone is well with a peruse. Between squawking at chickens and getting a caramel macchiato, it made for a great pit stop. Just enough time to use the restroom, grab a beverage, look at their extensive gift shop, and take a gander at the coffee trees. If you're heading over to the North Shore and are a coffee enthusiastic, Green World Coffee Farm is well worth a visit.

I remember his burger bun was purple, from the taro root ingredients. Mentally, I added it to my list, for next time. My nephew had never been to the Northshore before, and has rarely had a real vacation in his young run on the planet. His partially-genuine question was amplified by the inherent organic qualities of the lunch experience. Namely, the serene backyard surroundings of Farm to Barn's property. The picnic bench tables. His bare feet on the grass, manifesting a closer connection to the earth (which fortunately, he only mentioned once - we all know the someone who would've mentioned it 6 times, or so). My older sister added her coconut granola bowl was the best acai-adjacent bowl she's ever encountered, in the handful of years she's discovered such meals exist. And my breakfast burrito, aka my fav. food, was top 5 for sure. The yard chickens cruised us, hoping to get some scraps. But, we all made the most of our post-hike meal. One would think, photos would've been taken, during such a moment... but nope! Too busy enjoying family, and food, and the ultimate healthy Hawaii vibe, that this spot effortlessly provided. There's a ton of great food options on this stretch of the Northshore, but hard to imagine not coming here every visit, from now on.

Ube mascarpone pancakes!…read more I've dined here and at the Aiea location a few times. To my surprise, Guieb was introducing an updated menu when my friend and I visited earlier today. Our server explained that the menu is more streamlined with favorites. He mentioned that all pancake dishes can be interchangeable to waffles and that the waffle in their chicken and waffle dish can be any flavor! can My friend and I ordered new menu items, the Aria Plate for her and Da 3-Bite Feast for me. We enjoyed our plates! I love when restaurants offer samplers of sweet and savory breakfast items. The ube mascarpone pancakes were as legitimately ube and not too sweet as ever. The crab cake Benedict was great with a crispy crab cake patty and the poached egg a good medium (huge improvement from the bao bun Benedict I ordered for takeout years ago). The egg from the Wagyu loco moco was cooked exactly like the over easy I requested. The meat was moist and the gravy was flavorful. Good to know I don't always have to get the same ube mascarpone pancakes every time! One of our servers seemed a little hurried when my friend just arrived, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. I gently reminded him that my friend needed time to look at the menu. (Maybe he got too excited, haha!) The rest of the staff were friendly and attentive. I seem to forget about Guieb's parking in the back, or even the 1-hour parking around the block. The closest untimed street parking I'm aware of is near First Hawaiian Bank a couple blocks away. Guieb Cafe Wahiawa is always a favorite whenever I have visiting family and friends, or for loved ones moving away.

****CHECK YOUR RECEIPT PRIOR TO PAYING****…read more ****CHECK YOUR RECEIPT PRIOR TO PAYING**** I had lunch with my wife and had a wonderful experience (she had the country fried steak and I had the Korean rib-eye with an order of 4 beignets [2 of the Ube and 2 of the Strawberry])... ...until I got the receipt for our meal. The cost for the whole meal was reasonable until I saw the price for the beignets that were the special menu item. THEY TRIED TO CHARGE US $25.00 for 4 beignets. (For reference: Price was: 1 for $2.75 or 4 for $10.00) I only ordered 4 (two of the Strawberry and 2 of the Ube so my wife and I can try both flavors), which should come out to $10.00. I confronted the waitress about the mistake, and was very apologetic about the error. She returns to the register to fix it and the total came out to $11.00, not $10.00. The math doesn't make sense. So I approached the waitress and she said and I quote: "We charge the $2.75 price because you ordered two orders of two different types of beignets. Since each cost $2.75, the total comes out to $11.00". THAT WAS NEVER MENTIONED WHEN THE WAITRESS TOOK OUR ORDER OR WAS NOT PRINTED ON THE MENU WHEN WE WERE LOOKING AT THE ORDER I asked her why wasn't this mentioned while we were ordering it, even though she was present when I was having the discussion of the beignets to my wife. All she did was apologize but didn't change the ticket. I didn't want to cause a scene, so I paid the bill and took off. I only state this because even though it is only a dollar, this could have been going on for a good amount of time where they can rack up a good sum of money from customers if they kept this act going. And restaurants wonder why people don't go to their establishments: because occurrences similar to this dissuade people from going out to eat. This is why I check my receipt before paying. *see picture* Don't get me wrong, food was wonderful and the ambiance was laid back and relaxed, but they should make it known of their EXACT pricing before advertising a food item on the menu
