The chicken shawarma wrap was delicious and filling. Very good food compared to what you might expect in a mall.

I gotta be honest, the LAST place I thought I'd find good shawarma or Kifta kabob sandwiches would be in a mall food court.

In front is a sunken tree garden that must be a neat place to enjoy your food when the weather is nice. It's very shaded and has nice benches and a relaxing vibe to it. It's also the only place that I saw to sit down and enjoy your food. Inside the building is quite large but only has about 4 tables to stand next to without any seats. I think most people either go eat the food in their car or take it home. I ordered 2 scoops of their frozen soft serve custard. The flavored scoops were vanilla and turtle pecan. It cost $5 and change which was a real value too. I stood in a short line and had my dessert in less than 5 minutes. They have several lines to stand in to serve the many customers who come here. The vanilla scoop was rich and delicious. The turtle pecan scoop rocked my world! It had many half pecans in it and the custard was perfect in a buttery like taste that made me what to order another serving but in the interest of my waistline I decided not to. This custard impressed me. They also serve burgers, hot dogs, etc. too and I am sure it's all good here. This is a big operation that serves many people. I counted somewhere between 15-20 people working there all dressed in their white uniforms behind the counter. I wish we had a Kopp's where I live!

I would habe given 5 stars if it were for custards only, but burger and fries were quite poor…read more Reading thru a lot of old and new reviews, both from Yelp and internet in general, I got the sense that burgers used to be a lot better in the old days. Having tried them for the first time, I have to say, I can completely understand why they would say that, even without prior knowledge. I could definitely see the potential from the first bite of the burger. Patties were cooked right and gave me pleasant feeling of decent bite, except for being a bit bland. Buns definitely did not add anything to the totality of the burger, staying consistent with what everyone says. Made me wonder what kind of buns they used to use that made it better. Did not care for the soggy, green leafy part of lettuce they shoved into it. Like a normal person, I prefer a bit of crunch in my burger lettuce, but it did nothing but take away from the experience. I was sold on the idea of fried onions, but my onions didn't look or feel fried. Maybe my expectations were different on what fried onions meant? I was imagining deep fried battered onions, but maybe what I got was non-battered fried onions. Either way, it didn't leave any impression. I think I also made the mistake of asking for ketchup and mustard without specifically asking just how much. My burger ended up being too sour due to too much of both. I think I read on their website somewhere that I was supposed to be able to taste the specialness of their Wisconsin cheese, but everything else about the burger was so overpowering that I barely could tell if there was any cheese at all. Fries were SUPER soggy from the get go. I *only* brought the bad outside to open it immediately after grabbing them, so it wasn't like they stayed in the bag long enough to get soggy. Now.. having said all that. Custards were amazing! Definitely at the top of my list of frozen custards I've had thus far. The girl at the counter had me try both the daily specials and both were super good. So good that I'll probably drive my girls an hour out here just to buy them custards, especially as it gets warmer. If it were just for burgers and fries, I might have given them two stars. But since the name of the institution is Kopp's Frozen Custard, I'm more inclined to be a bit forgiving.. I had them at 3 stars originally, but I think I'll bump it up to 4, landing them personally at 3.5.

We both got THE BOX which came with bread, slaw, the tenders, canes sauce, and crinkle fries, and a soda. $11.59. Total of just over $24. It was busy. I expected piping hot food and lots of turn over and cooking to order basically. Nothing should have been just sitting. Our chicken wasn't really hot and was soggy not crispy. Odd. The sauce definitely was needed to boost the flavor profile- because the chicken itself didn't really have a flavorful breading - and it was soft. Odd. My husband had two sauces - I got one. Odd. The fries weren't bad- but not terrific. The toast was warm and nice. The slaw cup- mine was going brown and my hubbies was beautifully fresh. Odd. We just self served ourselves from the coke machine area. They did have sweetened and unsweetened tea there. The lemonade was behind the counter. There were a lot of people in the drive thru and inside where we ate. It got to where there was no seating and people stood just looking at you hoping you were finishing. The bathroom was in constant use. Crazy. Families and teams and couples were there etc- so it was family friendly. The service was full of smiles and thank yous. At the end I found a black hair in the bottom of my styrofoam food tray. I know it happens. I didn't complain. Not sure if we will frequent them. If there were half stars- it would be a 3 1/2! May your visit be better and wow you!!

Therefore I can't speak to service or ambiance. I can say that we ordered four different iterations of their Chicago dog and we all enjoyed it. BF had the traditional jumbo dog with everything and liked it. My cousin had her jumbo without relish or onions and was happy as a clam. Mom enjoyed her jumbo dog without the relish and also was pleased. I had the veggie version with no green yuck relish and fried onions and it was really good. Who knew I liked that flavor combo? Also, kudos for offering a veggie dog option. That's a smart business choice. I also had onion rings and while I usually prefer battered rings, the crunchiness of these was undeniably excellent, even delivered, even from a location not super near to me. Nice! My mom and cousin enjoyed their chocolate malt, and I applaud that they offer malts and not just shakes, but we only got one of the two we ordered. That was a shame. Still, I'm pleasantly surprised by my foray into carnivore territory.

After an event, we have gone to this location, ordered, sat down, talked, and enjoyed our meal without any problems. Also, it's clean, the workers do not have an attitude, and if there is a problem they are more than happy to fix it. Three, the food! I like to order the Chicago dog (as is). No ketchup! And of course the chocolate cake.

I made a couple modifications and he was so kind about it even though I know I was being kind of annoying and apologized for it. He was so nice and did not make me feel bad. The service is great. I did notice that he both works the counter and cooks the food in the back, so he's clearly very hard-working. The fries were great crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The chicken sandwich was made well, but the chicken was a little bit dry, which is why I gave four stars instead of five. I added some extra sauce I had at home and it was perfect. I would maybe recommend asking for extra sauce if you plan on eating it there. Overall good food and great service. Will definitely be back if we need something quick to go.

We've been on the hunt for delicious Friday night subs which has taken us on adventures all over…read morethe Milwaukee metro. A lot of local sandwich spots aren't open after 4pm or so on Fridays (more of a lunch thing). But, I kinda dig an end of the week grab and go situation. Jersey Mike's was somehow off our radar. I had been to one, one time a few years back in Chicago. But, that's it. So, we recently decided to change that on a recent Friday evening and I'm so glad we did. We popped in here for dinner and I'm decidedly a fan of their subs. They have three sizes and have both hot and cold sub. I opted for a cold sub, which was great with everything from the bread to the toppings tasting fresh and fabulous, but would definitely give one of their hot ones a try as well! It's your basic sandwich shop inside (ie: fine to eat there on the fly but you're not missing anything by taking your subs to go). The service was fast and friendly and the prices were reasonable. Get to it!

Jumping to 1975, a 17-year-old employee named Peter purchased the shop with a loan from his football coach (also a local banker). Since then, Peter has expanded to more than 2,800 locations and is still the CEO. Long story short, I almost always go with a cheese steak whenever I go to a sub shop. Jersey Mike's offers a few different cheese steak options, but I went with the Big Kahuna. The term comes from the Hawaiian word kahuna, which means "priest" or "healer". Big Kahuna is typically used today as an informal idiom that refers to the most important thing or person in a group, like the boss (or in this case, boss of the subs). The Big Kahuna sub comes with grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, jalapenos, and extra white American cheese. Jalapenos are a love it or hate it topping. I side with the haters, so I ordered my sub without them. My sub had some weight to it and was also bursting with the amount of filing. The savory slices of steak, heaps of peppers/onions, and mound of melty white American cheese dominated the sandwich with the mushrooms being much less prevalent. I'm a true Wisconsinite in the sense that I can never have enough cheese and add it to many of the foods I eat. That being said, I was satisfied with the amount of cheese on this delicious sub. The miniscule amount of mushrooms aside, the Big Kahuna is Doughboy approved. Doughboy_Food_Reviews
