We ordered the food to go. One dish, Tour of Italy, looked like a tour of Mexico. Another dish, Pasta Primavera, looked more orange and unappetizing. We enjoy Mexican food but not when ordering Italian. I could only handle two bites of the Primavera, but my husband said his Tour of Italy tasted better than it looked. Unfortunately, he got really sick. I do not recommend this place for Italian food.

We got the Brussel Sprouts for an app. They had a delicious sauce and they were cooked to perfection. The French Dip was the real star of the show. The meat was so tender and was probably the best French dip I ever had. The sweet potato fries come with a marshmallow/cinnamon dipping sauce that is very good if you like your sweets. We polished off dinner with the salted caramel lava cake. It was delightful. It was so refreshing to be surprised by how wonderful this restaurant was and how nice the employees were. I can't wait to come back someday

First off my server, Crystal, was great. She was super helpful, very personable, not overbearing - just excellent. I ordered a 10 inch pepperoni and jalapeño pizza and a side of fries. The fries were crinkle cut fries. They don't come salted, which is fine because she told me they didn't and I just added salt myself. There was nothing special about them. They were just crinkle cut fries. The pizza was a hand tossed crust, clearly not frozen or a shell which is delightful. Cheese was good pepperoni was a little crispy, which I really like, but you don't really get a lot and the jalapeños were crispy and zippy. The overall taste was good. The sauce was a little nondescript, but on the whole I thought it was really good. I would definitely get it again if I'm in North Platte. As far as ambience goes, a casual dining spot with a bar. The menu is typical bar food: Sandwiches, hamburgers, fried appetizers, wings pizza.

I ordered the daily special and it was steak bites with sweet potato fries and coleslaw, as well as 2 dinner rolls. The rolls must have been heated in the microwave because they were tough. The salmon was good, but the white gravy on the mashed potatoes had a lot of pepper in them. Initially the waitress forgot to bring the mashed potatoes. The hash browns were also good. The steak bites were overdone and had a lot of pepper on them. They were tough to chew. The sweet potatoes were good, but the meal wasn't worth $21.00. We were not asked if we wanted dessert. She just gave us the bill. We felt very rushed. We won't be going to Capones anymore. It's not worth driving all the way out there for a mediocre experience. There are better places in town.

Last time I got the hash browns, definitely pay the $2 charge to make them cheesy with sautéed onions and green peppers, sooo good! The place definitely has character - it's vintage with taxidermy everywhere. Polar bear, giraffe, bull, deer heads on the walls. Feels like you're eating in a hunting lodge. *Food*: I ordered the boneless ribeye, medium rare. It was an average steak - easy to chew, but had more fat than I'm used to and the flavor was nothing special. Didn't dislike it, but wouldn't call it memorable. My daughter got the steak sandwich and my wife got the steak burger. We all agreed the food was delicious at the time. *The catch*: A few hours later my wife and daughter both had upset stomachs. I just felt bloated. My son was fine. Could've been a one-off, but worth mentioning. *Price/Service*: Restaurant itself is pricey. Menu items are fair, but the steaks are expensive for what you get. Service was fair - nothing bad, nothing great. If you're passing through I-80 in Paxton and want the experience/vibe, it's a stop. If you're driving out of your way for "best steak in Nebraska", I'd keep going. The taxidermy is the main attraction.

The restaurant was warm and welcoming, with fun decorations that made the night feel special right away. The food was the real star. Our table was loaded with beautifully presented sushi rolls and dishes, and every single one tasted as good as it looked. The rolls were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned, with a great balance of textures and sauces. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the preparation and presentation. There was a great variety too--something for everyone at the table. Service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out in a timely manner despite how much food we ordered.
