Friendly service, friendly people. I had the nachos. Keep in mind this place is a wings and pizza joint with burgers thrown in. Nothing fancy but they're moving to a new location soon. Pool tables, cold beer and dang good nachos for a non-nacho joint. The cilantro sour cream was unique. Plenty of cheese and toppings. Everyone I talked to recommended this place for wings. Had some time today, so stopped in to give it a try. I'm extremely happy to say I was satisfied and enjoyed everything about my experience. Very disappointed with this place. 1st time in, the service was terrible. Stood waiting with no help. The wings and the (huge) chefs salad was good. But the breadsticks were pathetic. The pizza is definitely different, and we were not a fan. Came a 2nd time and got 2 of the $13 salads that were so small. Called, and they said, "Come get a new ones". They didn't give us anything and drove down for nothing. Needless to say we will definitely find a better place to go. read more

This place is very eh. Their beef meat has very weird seasoning on it. Their taco salads are SO SMALL!!! Wings are pretty good but expensive. Nacho chips were burned, had the weird meat on it, and I couldn't find barely any cheese of the nachos. Very disappointed from the first time my family went there and raved about it then we had this poor experience. Had 2 different waiters really didn't know which one was ours but nice ladies. Great pizza and fantastic taco salad. Stayed at a nearby hotel and ordered by phone, short drive and food was ready and delicious!!

Pure trash. Order 2 shrimp salads, both were served with rotten lettuce, and obviously rotten. Pathetic to even think to serve it to a customer, just straight brain dead. Called about it, they didn't care, manager was to call me back, never did, so I brought the salads back, to be absolutely ignored for 30 min until I finally had to ask them to help. I popped through town on my way to Colorado and my buddy recommended Dave's place. Wow. What an experience! It's a very cool spot with a dining area, a couple pool tables and a bar. Basically anything you'd ever want out of a pizza joint. We ordered a couple pizzas and some hot wings, The pizza was fantastic, the hot wings were hot and weird. Like really weird. We enjoyed the pizza and a few beers and caught a football game. Plenty of tv's if your trying to catch a game. Overall, Daves is an experience. I found this place on yelp, but with only 2 reviews really didn't put much faith in the 4 1/2 stars. I ask the young lady at the front desk of my hotel about a good local pizza place. She immediately said Dave's place. So, I thought-OK, let's try it. It has a nice game room area with a pool table and some video games, the bar area is pretty nice. They have several taps with some good choice's...I know that's subjective. I had a Sam Adams lager, they also had Coor's light and an IPA of some kind. The pizza on the other hand was mediocre at best, it's a prefab crust out a of box I would venture to guess. The toppings were generous and good, to try and hide the crust no doubt. I would have been just as happy and maybe even a little happier at Pizza Hut. Just depends on what you're looking for in pizza. I like fresh, not frozen premise. read more

I went to the House Bar (which is across the street) to grab a bite to eat and a beer and watch the Colts/Broncos divisional playoffs, but they didn't have any food over there, so the bartender recommended Dave's Place. Wow, what a recommendation! The pizza here is pretty amazing! For such a small town, some great pizza! The bar is in the way back, the front area is kinda like the old dive bars with an area to keep the kids entertained (video games, pool tables, etc). The appetizers at Dave's are pretty good. The nachos are huge and pretty tasty. The owners support the local schools, so that is a plus as far as I'm concerned. The wings are really good, but you have to pick the right flavor. The garlic parm are really good. They have several choices that are all delicious. I really don't like the hot or super hot wings. They taste like they were coated in cayenne pepper, and lack much flavor at all. I don't think they use a traditional buffalo sauce for the base. The Philly Cheesesteak is also quite good. read more

We went to Dave's Place for a late meal after our first choice had just closed. The staff was friendly but pizza taken to go was mixed. Plenty of cheese, which is a definite plus. We ordered half Philly cheesesteak and half Reuben. Reuben was fine, but someone put jalapeños on the other half in place of green peppers. Mistake? Their idea of green peppers? Not good. Just passing through on way from Michigan to Portland Oregon. Stayed overnight in North Platte. Found Dave's had the best pizza review so drove down for a take out since they didn't deliver. The 10 inch small pizza was okay but not worth $20+. read more

4 stars for the best pizza and beer in North Platte. Great place to grab some food and beer and watch the game after a long day. Dark atmosphere so you can see the tv's good. They have plenty of arcade games and pool tables to keep the kids (or yourself) busy. The owners are great people and you're sure to make some new friends with the regulars. This pizzaria/ bar is GREAT! They have been around for sometime now. At one end a pizzaria which is kid friendly! The other end a full service bar with great customer service. They have pool, darts, etc. I love to come here on Fridays for a slice and something on ice! read more
