Our pets are like our family. Tanya was a blessing finding her to take care of my Dogs, Buddy, a King Charles and Mele, a golden retriever. Tanya would come sometimes 5 days a week and would walk Buddy and Mele, brush their teeth, trim their toes and care for them like they were her own pets. Buddy lived for 15 years and Mele lived an astonishing 17 years, because of Tanya's care. She understood their personalities and even when the vet said stop walking Buddy when he was 10 because of a heart problem, we both decided that walking was Buddy's favorite time of day. Tonya is amazing. My dog does not like a lot of people, and her behavior is a gamble with other dogs (if she decides to be nice or not lol). So when I was going a month long trip, leaving her in a facility with other dogs just wasn't an option. I went on yelp and found Tonya. She had great reviews but I was still skeptical, until our in person meeting. Tonya is so caring and lumi immediately took to her! I think it's her calm demeanor and her vet work experience? Idk but lumi was so calm by her and even started licking her! During my trip, I received daily photos of Lumi and a little snippet of what their day was like. Since I was out of country, tonya downloaded an app where we could communicate for free. She's so awesome. Lumi looked like she was having a lot of fun, especially on the walks. I think tonya took her walking 3x per day, (which was probably a dream to lumi) compared to the one walk per day that she usually gets haha. Tonya also brushed lumis fur and teeth! Her cost is also consistent with other boarding facilities, which is a plus. And the owner has to provide necessities such as food, leashes, pads if necessary, etc. Highly recommended! read more

For some reason Ollie doesn't let us clip his nails anymore. So how wonderful to have Tonya, who knows how to safely restrain him and stop any bleeding if necessary. Did I mention she used to be a trained vet tech? I'm a wuss and can't restrain him nor can I watch him panicking at the vet struggling to get away. So perfect to drop Ollie off at Tonya's and then pick him up once she's done. Another amazing thing about Tonya is how flexible she is and loyal to her clients. She makes time for my crazy, unpredictable schedule - whether it's last minute walks, stays or nail clippings. I also know that she has a service for when it's time for your pet to leave this earth, where she will go to the vet afterwards and pick up your loved animal to send them off with dignity. She will create a memory box for you. I hate thinking or talking about this but it's a needed service and something our best friends deserve. Tonya is great. We've used Tonya and Malu Pet Bliss for extended overnight stays when we travel and for day visits to our home to walk our dogs. One of our dogs is older and requires medication twice daily. Tonya makes sure she gets her medication even though she is finicky and hates taking her pills. Our two dogs love their walks with Tonya and are always excited to see her. They really enjoy their vacations with her and we get texts and photos of their daily adventures. She really loves animals and that comes across in her in-person visits, her email check-ins, and (my favorite) the text message photos that she send every day. Two of my cats are super friendly, but I worry about the third, a fussy, wary cat, who usually heads straight under the bed when there is a stranger in the house. To my surprise, Tonya was able to share photos of her with me from the first day, relaxed and up in her accustomed perch in the living room. It was such a relief!
