When she matches you up with one of her workers, that worker comes out to meet your pet and spend time with you to get to know your pet, the routine, any nuances, etc. We have used Waikiki Wags for a coupe years now and Hiroko has been fantastic. I feel so lucky that I found Waikiki Wags! My dachshund and I recently moved from a house with other dogs and a nice yard to a condo in Waikiki. Linda came to our rescue to housesit for Ernie during a two week trip to asia. We had previously left our Shiba Inu with a very nice lady in Kailua. He is now 13 years old and is very uncomfortable staying away from home for an extended period. Based on reviews we read here, we asked Linda to move in and care for our baby. Shibas are famous for not accepting new "friends" easily. I can only report that it took only two days for Ernie and Linda to become best friends. She sent us pictures daily and we were reassured that he was being well cared for. So more trips are on the schedule and we know that our boy will be well taken care of. I came home to a calm, healthy, relaxed cat. Normally she fusses at me for a day or two when I return, letting me know how unhappy she was that I left. On this return, she was mellow, happy and calm. She came and sat on my lap and purred. That's the sign of a well-loved, well-cared for cat! Before I left we were struggling getting her to eat and poop regularly. She's an older cat with digestion and thyroid issues. Robin took the time to pay close attention to her eating and reporting back to me whether she pooped or not. She texted me daily updates and we were able to make good decisions about how to help her and I didn't have to worry at all about how she was doing. Also my cat requires a pill morning and evening. Robin was able to pill her twice a day without a problem. The peace of mind that comes from knowing one's pet is well cared for while traveling is worth gold. My boy Tesla was fortunate enough to be loved on by Linda, Sue, and Jessica and because of them, I was able to go to work with peace of mind. For the last 8 months of Tesla's life, he battled mast cell cancer and all 3 of these ladies were excellent at tending to his needs and keeping me posted on how he was doing while I was at work. They were super flexible and there was always someone available to walk him when I needed it, regardless of if I was working day shift or night shift. They would frequently reach out to me to ask how he was doing and were extremely uplifting when they heard of Tesla's passing.
