The pricing was more than fair, and I'm so glad I decided to bring my car here. Before I brought my car here, I researched Honda mechanics on Yelp, and can confirm that the reviews are legitimate. I will never take my car anywhere else! The problem with my car: I have a 2012 Honda Accord EX-L that I bought off Facebook Marketplace back in June. It seemed fine at first--just needed some basic maintenance and an oil change--but a couple of months later, I started noticing it was idling rough and the RPMs were revving higher than normal. Eventually, the check engine light came on with a code for the mass airflow sensor. I had that replaced, but the problem continued. I had a couple of mechanics look at my car and none of them could fix the problem. That's when I took it to Todd, and I'm so thankful I did. He not only fixed the issue but went above and beyond to make sure my car was running smoothly again. It's such a relief to find a mechanic who's both knowledgeable and truly honest. i am actually surprised that the labor cost wasn't higher. Also, a big shoutout to the receptionist (I think her name is Cherry--sorry if I spelled it wrong!) who was always so kind and helpful every time I called or came in. you guys have a customer for life! Had my vehicle 2 weeks or 10 business days. Was $800 to diagnose and reply per and lower radiator hose. The parts were delayed in shipping I was told however rock auto sell OEM parts for $104 plus shipping. I don't mind paying more if I get a speedy repair. This was a slow leak they could have asked for a deposit, and when the parts came in do the repair. Note that we requested stop coolant leak, stop power steering leak, check ac system. They ordered the radiator hoses and nothing else. At the rate they were performing service the vehicle would have been there easily another 2 weeks... waiting on parts and whatever else. This was the second time my wife took a vehicle there, tried to give them the benefit of a doubt. I am no longer seeing this as a viable option for my vehicle maintenance. I weld for a living and don't have a shop, at the rate this is going I'll be better off working on my own vehicles. Most people don't have spare vehicles sitting around, 2 weeks without a vehicle is rough. Especially when it's something someone could do in half a days time with minimal experience. Honest Joe will rake you over the coals... Was quoted $4000 in labor for an engine swap which is ridiculous. I got a quote from Chapman Auto for $2000 and that included the transmission as well as the engine swap. It pays the shop around. Whatever you do don't take your car here unless you wanna pay big bucks. read more

I first went to Mallory Automotive to get a second opinion. A different mechanic had recommended work that was questionable and costly. Todd took me and my Expedition for a short drive, explaining as we drove the responses the vehicle should have in a normal situation - and in the circumstances the "other guy" had pressured me to fix. He assured me that there was no issue and saved me several hundreds of dollars that I did not have. That was 2 years and many miles ago. He has been my mechanic ever since. My son values his opinion and trusts him as well with his Mitsubishi. Mallory specializes in Honda, but they do not exclude other cars. Todd, the owner, has been our mechanic for all of our vehicles for many years. He is the most honest man I know. He will fix what needs to be repaired, and tell you what you can wait to fix until later. He never tries to "upsell" any services. I trust his advice and work and recommend him for any of your mechanical needs. When my daughter hit a guardrail during some sleet and ice he took care of everything! He dealt with the insurance adjuster and made sure her Honda went to the body shop for the body repairs. He is awesome! read more
