Malibu Bluffs Park offers a stunning escape from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, promising breathtaking ocean views, scenic trails, and a chance to commune with nature. The park's main attraction is undoubtedly the panoramic vista of the Pacific Ocean. The endless blue horizon, coupled with the dramatic cliffs and rolling hills, creates a truly breathtaking scene. Pack a picnic basket and enjoy a meal with a million-dollar view. Several designated picnic areas with tables and benches provide the perfect spot to relax and soak in the scenery. The park consists of two baseball diamonds, a soccer field, playground for kids, jogging path, whale watching station, and the Michael Landon Community Center. There are also restrooms for men and women. Private and street parking available.

Very nice park located off highway one across from Pepperdine. From this park you get stellar views of the ocean and the coastline. Within the park there are baseball diamonds, picnic benches and a kids playground. There is also a short path that circles the park. Off the park grounds there are some dirt trails that have steep inclines. You will also find plumbed toilets. This park also features parking. When baseball games are in progress, parking can be tough.

A nice little park along the Pacific Coast Highway. Had some ballfields, playground equipment in various spots, a paved walkway around it, a few exercise stations along the path, and some beautiful views of the ocean, although no beach access. It was a great place to take a little break, walk a bit, and stretch.

This park is absolutely gorgeous! We wanted to take a picture with the big yellow hand but could not find it. There are a bunch of little trails and plenty of area for the kids to play as well. Parking is free. Make sure to bring an umbrella or wear lots of sunscreen since there is almost no shaded areas!

This is a really nice part that I took my daughters to while we were in Malibu. It was really cool to see had people playing soccer and we were walking around the track in. There's a nice public art display and they had a nice park and playground play home.

Such gorgeous views at this park! There were tables spaced out along the bluffs, so we had a nice picnic lunch with ocean views without the crowds. Parking was easy and the restrooms were clean. No complaints here, absolutely loved this park!

Some breathtaking views of ocean, Santa Monica, Catalina Island and more. Also a few easy hiking trails for your Saturday or Sunday adventure. Located right across from Peperdine University. Malibu Bluffs park, a place you must visit.

Malibu Bluffs Park rhetorically is the park in the Malibu park across from PCH(Pacific Coast Highway) and Pepperdine University. Have been a frequent visitor here and have recently being checking in, so this review is long overdue, but necessary. This is a 6 acre community park with ample flat grass areas for recreational sports play, picnicking and it's dog friendly. Because it across the highway, you have to traverse the dangerous PCH to access the beach, which I do NOT recommend. From the park you have views of Pepperdine University and spectacular views of Pacific Ocean and some killer views of the sunset. The best times to come here without the crowd is really early. There are boards with provide historical, terrain information, trails, and whale watching points to get the perfect vista. There are picnic tables and some benches. It's the perfect place to do a meditative workout of yoga, calisthenics, jog, run and walk your pooch. Fendi loves it here but she does prefer Palisades Park in Santa Monica because there are more trees that offers shade from the sun. The layout is open and more field like. The views are great and so is getting outdoors to breathe in the fresh ocean air. Recommend!

The location of this park is fantastic, with amazing views of the ocean. It's easy to find and they offer free parking, clean restrooms, play structure, and picnic tables. However this particular day was probably not the best day to visit. Parking lot was full so it was difficult to get a space, and the park was crowded with numerous groups gathering to celebrate birthdays. Because most of the grassy area is fenced off, everyone congregated in the first 20 feet of grass closest to the walkways - mostly by the trees. Normally I don't care, but with all the covid things going on right now, I kept my distance from the grass area. I saw a trail at the end of the park going down the hill. I'm not sure where it leads to, but maybe towards the beach? I brought kites and balls for the kids to play with, but there wasn't much open space at the park for that right now so we decided to leave after our picnic lunch.

This park is so nice and clean.

I do not think I have ever felt so much positive, happy energy around me all at once than at this moment at Malibu Bluffs Park. We happened across this beautiful park quite accidentally, while taking a drive on Pacific Coast Highway to see the ocean. This weekend is the first weekend since quarantine that parks have opened. Wow, so much beauty and tranquility and happiness! Families picnicking, children playing ball with their parents, people lying on the grass on blankets drinking in the ocean air, walking, flying kites, looking through the telescopes at the horizon. This park is clean and has a expanse of green space. They are drinking fountains not only for humans, but for dogs! It was so cute to watch my pug drink out of his own little fountain while I held the button for him. Folks in Malibu sure know how to make a park. This is definitely a place to come again with a picnic. I highly recommend!

Absolute heaven! The weather was perfect after so much rainfall. The views are mesmerizing!!! The water glistens it's blinding!!! Luv how the sun hits the water!!! We hiked down and saw so much on the way down (see pics)!! Take a compass! We had to reroute!!! It was a beautiful way to spend a Saturday!!! P.S. There are restrooms at the top as well as a baseball field.

This is a nice park located directly across PCH from Pepperdine University. There is a baseball field and nice grassy areas to picnic. There is also a paved,walking/jogging path around some of the park. If you venture along the far path along the edge of the bluff, you will notice the beautiful homes located on the beach below. There is dirt trail access down to that area, which also makes for a nice run. parking - free

We tried to stop somewhere in LA that looks cool, but there was no parking and waaaaay too many people to leave our car packed with luggage. So I hopped on Yelp to find a new spot that looked away from the city, and this was perfect. It was quiet and beautiful, and its simplicity was very engaging for my kids 5-8years. My husband walked on the paths for a bit and I enjoyed a spot in the sunshine as the majority of the park was shady and a bit chilly! The park and trail is tucked into a neighborhood. The only thing confusing to me was the parking lot. There was two marked spots--one for handicapped and one next to it which said 'no parking' on the ground but there was no sign on the wall in front of the spot. It seemed odd and unnecessary. Why can't people park here in the only other marked spot? Is this parking lot only for people with handicaps? Where is anyone else supposed to park--the curb on the other side that's not marked and not deep enough to be out of the way of someone backing out of the handicapped spot? Other than that, and the dirty bathroom which had what looked like a poop smear on the floor and a pile of liners and crumpled TP blocking the bowl of the women's toilet, this was a great spot to be.

We parked on the PCH passed Malibu Seafood (watch where you park, cops are serious in this area, they were hunting to give tickets to people when we went!). We walked into Malibu Seafood parking lot, there is a sign and you start a hike. You can check various trails, we stayed on the main path, which is tight and there is vegetation on both sides, so long pants are important as is sunscreen and water due to lack of shade. There weren't too many people, the views are incredible, the Pacific ocean shines in the horizon and Malibu coastline is gorgeous. We saw a few hawks flying above. We stayed on the trail, the chimney comes up fast, then kept going for a while and we did take a left at the fork and the views got better and better! Whatever trail you take, you won't get lost since this is a loop. Around 2 miles hike, not easy, but not strenuous, I'd call it moderate, good exercise, but not too hard. I can't take the images of the view out of my head. I'd do the hike it again in a heartbeat! It was a great way to spend my birthday! So you can pop in at the vintage grocer and grab some snacks for yourself or after you get finished with the dog park you can swing down there and stop at one of the restaurants. I know Kristy's is located in the center now as well as the brewery. The location of the dog park is impressively scenic as far as dog parks go. There are canyon and ocean views. The restrooms are generally pretty clean; they've never been filthy even though they are ranger maintained public facilities. There's a really cute little kids playground that has the squishy ground, which feels so nice to walk on and then of course the gigantic soccer field. There's plenty of free parking and it's never been crowded. I have had some negative dog encounters here because it is so quiet people will sometimes bring less than fully socialized dogs here. So you have to be cautious and monitor your dog if they're not in the park alone. But that's any dog park. And as a dog owner, we owe it to our pups to monitor them. There's no cell phone service here at least for me with AT&T, but I do love the ocean views. It's really a great dog park. The picnic table is in the shade always helps us beat the heat. And although my dog doesn't jump over the little rails or going to the red tunnel, he loves that there's chaparral on the hill that he can go pee and sniff, and he loves all the trees in the park and the positioned rocks within the park.
