I…read morewas feeling depressed about not seeing or speaking to my daughter, my cars engine is broken and will cost me 5000, and not being able to go to class this week because of my situation! I told myself I will take the bus and come to see Mother Nature. While I was on my fast in January I booked marked these stair here so god spoke to me today and so I went. I needed to see the green, get fresh air and just get back into my own zone because of the funk I've been in. Being here help me think of good times I've been to stairs, or on a trails I've been on. People I've gone on hikes with or even loved ones for their first time. The views got me out of my own mind and really gave me clarity of where I should be and where I'm heading. God reveals all and have me see things which I appreciate the good and the bad. And it really shows me I need to be where I need to be. I am willing to take more adventures soon with the bus and just humbling myself as a post I posted on social media about me remaining with an open heart to see what life has to offer now. Light skin dragon blasting off looking for another place to calm my nerves, and remain at peace which this area honestly brought and it was hard to find taking the bus and walking haha

There's several large grass areas and a small play area for the kids. I thought about bringing my dog but since we were going up into the trails I wanted to check it out first and I'm glad I didn't bring my dog. There are so many off leash dogs who are very well behaved and while I was impressed, some still just walk right up to other dogs that are leashed. My dog is still learning and can be reactive so I prefer that no dogs will come up to her without proper introduction. She is improving and I think as I continue practicing with her that this will become easier and I'll be able to bring her. Anyway it's really so nice to see people with their very well behaved dogs running calmly around. Everything was very clean and for the most part I think most people are mindful at picking up after their dog, however not everyone is and you'll see little poops here and there.

They have one structure for older kids and one for younger toddler age kids. There are a few large grassy areas that would be great for picnics! Many people bring their dogs here. It almost seems like an unofficial dog park, as many of them were off leash. The park generally seemed clean, minus the occasional dog poo or urine soaked pole (to be expected with doggos). They have a decent parking lot and a bathroom right by it. I also noticed a walking path but I didn't get to check it out. I really like how this park is off the beaten path and seems like a true local spot. I would definitely come back!
