Needed a custom order that would require lamps plus to work with the vendor (Schonbek.) April 14th, placed order. April 30th returned order. May 14 finally heard back from lamps plus on custom order. Took payment by phone. May 25th lamps plus called. Needs a signed PO for custom order. So the order was never placed. June 3rd. Manager calls to ask us to sign the PO to place order. June 6th. Received a call from lamps plus stating they didn't process payment yet and I'll be receiving an email with instructions payment. June 7th. Received sketchy outlook email requesting me to email respond with my credit card info, address, 3 digit code. Of course I refused to do this. June 24th. Received phone call from lamps plus to confirm color after 2 weeks. Applause. June 26th. Lamps plus Called to say the color is going to be double the price. Kind sales said we can either pay for the difference or get a full refund. This is fraud and extortion. I will not be paying double. I will not accept a full refund. I expect to get a product I paid for and extra to customize it. That's it. Good luck to future customers.
