First time at the Maldron. Overall it was good. Nice looking lobby area.
The room was small, really small. The room had two beds. But it was such a small room the beds were too close together and we had to walk sideways in between the beds. There was no dresser so we had to live out of a suitcase on the floor for a week. The room overall appeared clean except for the phone cord had a thick layer of dust in between the loops. (You could clearly see it.)
The bathroom. The walk in shower was nice with a rain shower and separate handheld. The water temperature was super hot. Way too hot and room would fog up. Because the shower is open to the door, the door had major water damage and was swollen and couldn't be closed all the way. The door jam was also had water damage. Aesthetically unappealing.
The restaurant was very nice and the food was good. The staff were super nice about food orders. Enjoyed the meals.
Some of the staff (front desk, restaurant and housekeeping) were very nice and others not as much. But overall the nice staff outweighed the not as nice staff.
Location is close to City Hall and Donegall Square which is what I wanted. And it was centrally located within walking distance to a lot in the area. read more
