REVIEW # 400!!! Not totally into the CBD or botanicals, that being said the rest of the store has a lot to grab your attention. Apparently, lots of vendors display their works here so there is plenty of variety from clothes, cards, crystals, jewelry, pottery, hats, books, bags and more. If you can't find something here for yourself, a loved one, a gift to a non loved one or your home then you won't find it anywhere!!! We walked out of there with a little guy made from obsidian, a stone for protection and to ward of negative energy. Not sure about that since Indians used obsidian to make arrowheads for hunting. Still cool little guy!!!! Next door to Vinyl Wine Bar so after you loosen up yoir wallet with a couple bottles of wine be sure to browae and buy here. read more

Malaya Botanicals - Not sure who or what he is but this little obsidian guy is coming home with us. - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - Alameda, California

Great little shop with good-sized assortment of botanicals, crystals, jewelry, and other unique and quality gifts for yourself or others. I purchased a cute little guy made out of obsidian - we've named him Cidian - a rock that is supposed to protect from negative energies. And if you knew half of what I deal with day-to-day, you would know just how much need this protection. I might stock up on these. Will definitely return in any event for additional items for myself or others. Nice shop, glad to have it in Alameda. read more

I just stumbled into Malaya Botanicals for the first time while walking around Alameda, and what a pleasant surprise! This cute little shop has such a warm, island-inspired vibe--it instantly reminded me of the Philippines, especially with all the rattan furniture and tropical touches throughout the space. They carry a unique mix of items: Filipino-themed décor, clothing, jewelry, food products, vitamins, and CBD. It feels like a thoughtfully curated space that blends wellness and culture beautifully. What I really appreciated is that they're supporting other local businesses too. They had ube treats and other goodies from local bakers and makers advertised in-store--not for sale there, but showcased to help connect the community. I love that. It's clear this is a local business with heart, and I'm so glad I stumbled across it. Definitely worth a quick stop if you're nearby or looking for something with a Filipino flair! read more

This review is for their CBD sangria that I purchased at the MexiPino event in Castro Valley a few months ago. I wish they had this on their website! But, this was amazing!!! I will have to visit their storefront and hope and pray that they have it! read more

Omg, this place has been on my radar for years! I was thrilled to finally be able to visit their store front. The owner, Pia, was such a delight! And she was very supportive of our Filipino brethren who are out here trying to make a name for themselves! We love to see it. They had a free mimosa tasting, which was basically two shot glasses of a sangria and an alcohol-free, cbd-infused drink. They were honestly super yummy! I was impressed that their soap products were so affordable. Have you ever seen an $8 artisanal soap? I haven't. I bought multiple! read more

After over a year of having last seen them at their Webster street location, I wanted to check their new location by the shipyards. I almost squealed in delight by their beautiful use of space. Before I walked in, I was already pulling out my phone to take photos. I was in search of lip balm because I always need to have it on. After careful consideration, I chose the sampaguita scent because it's not something I smell often. I should have bought the peppermint one as well because I really love how the lip balm feels on my lips. I'm really sensitive to certain things and this one is heavenly. Without hesitation, I also purchased the aromatherapy inhaler because that's my jam (sniffing menthol). As I browsed, I was in awe of everything displayed because now they sell clothing and they even have a mini sari-sari section. It's like a sundries or variety mini-store in the Philippines, where it's like a small kiosk tucked away on a random street. They sold out of seamoss, which I would have purchased in a millisecond but I ended up buying the chaga mushroom elixir. I've been doing it twice daily as directed, and so far, I like it. I'm a fan!!! read more

I'm actually recovering from covid and while I was sick, over the counter medicines stopped working and the body aches were the worst. I remembered before Christmas that I bought myself a pain relieving bath bomb from Malaya and it felt like a God send. I soaked in it and it helped to relieve the horrible muscle aches I was feeling. Once I'm better I definitely plan to stock up on these to use for days I feel stressed or sore from the gym (Malaya offers two different kinds for pain and stress!). I'm so thankful to have found this place! read more

I work in the medical field and I purchased this roll on sometime last year hoping to give a little boost to my immunity and also make wearing a mask for 10+ hours straight more bearable. This roll on did not disappoint! I love the smell and it immediately distracts my mind when I'm feeling my anxiety creeping up. Now this is just my personal opinion/experience, I'm not a doctor, and it could be I have an excellent immune system, but I think this roll on has kept me from getting C19. As I said, I work until the medical field and have been directly exposed to C19 multiple times at work and home. Have been directly exposed to my daughter who had C19, we had shared food and drinks during her contagious stage. Flew to Vegas twice, Hawaii, and Utah twice. Flights were full. Around soo many people in close quarters. At those times, I was unvaccinated. And my Dad who also had C19 coughed on my unmasked face multiple times during his contagious stage. Always had a negative C19 test thank God! (Knock on wood! LOL) I use this roll on every time I'm out and at work since I bought it. Need to restock soon. Thank you for making this! It's been my lifesaver! read more

Walked over here the other day after a colleague suggest a CBD bath bomb for a post-pinched-nerve achy body. I was greeted when I walked in, guided to what I was searching for, and on my way out in less than 5 minutes. The space is beautiful and wish I had more time to browse; however, I look forward to returning. I ended up purchasing the bath salts, which had the equivalent of 3 bath bombs. I used them that night and enjoyed the experience. Not to mention, I slept like a baby. Thank you, Malaya Botanicals! read more

I first tried their products when I received the bath bomb and one of the rollers as a thank you gift. I enjoyed both, especially the bath bomb. I've also ordered online for gifts for others too, and my friends have enjoyed their products. When I have questions about the product and email the store, I typically get a response that's super helpful. I finally visited the storefront, and was pleasantly surprised to find plants for sale! Their plant person is super knowledgeable, and I ended up purchasing a Monstera plant from here for about $70ish. The plant is flourishing and still doing well. read more

Truly magic! I've tried the revive shampoo/conditioner which helped me grow back hair loss after kids. I really love their roll-on cbd essential oil blends to take with me on the go. And their edibles and pain cream are 2nd to none. CBD that actually works! read more

Ever since surgery for a torn rotator cuff, my shoulder hasn't been completely pain free or as flexible. My usual gym workout--shoulder press, lat pull downs, triceps press--is more challenging now and usually leaves me sore and tight. The CBD Muscle Relief Cream has been a game changer. One pump rubbed into my achy shoulder post workout gives me almost instant relief and lasts for hours. It contains just enough menthol to be soothing without giving me that old lady smell. Btw, no knock on old ladies--I am one myself --just don't need to overdo it with smelling like Bengay. The service here is impeccable. When they bagged my purchase, they accidentally gave me the tester bottle. I follow them on IG and so I messaged owner Pia about the error and she was genuinely apologetic and promised a replacement delivery. Her business partner delivered my brand new CBD cream and we chatted for awhile about alcohol, cigars, steaks and gout--see, told you--old lady. So coming back here. Bonus: they have uke classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm and I will be taking lessons! read more

Great personal service by the owner. Great selection of CBD products. The owner is knowledgeable about the uses of CBD cannabis.

Unable to get refund for completely unused product for over ten days. Horrible customer service. 8 months pregnant and a friend recommended a specific product for pain. I asked the sales person in case this is not the right one can I return if unopened and she said yes, no problem. My friend called me 30 min later and told me it wasn't the right ingredients so went back to the store to return but there was a sign that the salesperson went out on a break for 10 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting she didn't come back and I had to leave. The following weekend I go to the store to get a refund and the sales lady kept on trying to convince me to exchange products when I just wanted a refund. Because I paid by card she claimed she couldn't refund me in store (strange especially since I had the receipt ) so she called the owner who said to email her the receipt. The email they gave me bounced 20 min after I sent it so I called immediately to let them know and hit Voicemail. One week has gone by... no call. Tried calling again today... voicemail. Is this a business or a hobby? Just give me my refund please. read more

I was first given a sample of their Calm roll-on about two years ago. I loved the scent and used it sparingly so never knew the benefits. Recently I recognized the sign on their booth at a street fair and was thrilled to purchase a full size Calm, for the scent. Little did I know how wonderfully it works for pain and stress! It's amazing! Worked on my stiff neck and eliminated my headache. I was running low so called them today to see if they were in the City. They were at the Castro St Fair and offered to deliver my order on their way home! Excellent products, and unbelievable customer care! Thank you, Pia! read more

So I have been suffering from a chronic tension headache for 2 weeks and I had even gone to my doctor to get some relief but was only given the options of taking nsaids which I had already been doing. I stumbled upon Malaya Botanicals at a Body mind and spirit expo in Sacramento today and sampled some of her cbd sangria and used her cbd oil for my temples, wrists and behind my ear for headache. As skeptical as I was, I'm pleased to say it has been 2 hours since taking it that I have no trace of that headache I've been combating for 2 weeks now with pharmaceuticals. I'm never 100% sold on products like this, but definitely saw and felt the effects of her cbd products. Took a bottle of 500mg cbd tincture home with me! Thank you! It feels good to feel good! read more

I was introduced to Malay Botanicals at Headwest Marketplace. I have purchased from them 3 times and the customer service has always been great. There are two products I truly love. The first is the Full Spectrum Gummies. At night, when my brain is still running but I need to go to sleep, one gummy does the trick. Every time!! My daughter also found them very helpful when she had Covid. She was very uncomfortable and with one gummy she was able to sleep. The second product I love is the Ease Pain Relief cream. One of my fingers became swollen and painful after gardening. I thought it was a thorn or bug bite. After about 10 days with no improvement, I called the doctor. Over the phone and with photos (thanks Covid!) I was diagnosed with arthritis. I started using the Ease and the swelling and pain both improved greatly within two days. read more

Pia and Malaya botanicals saved my relationship. Without their products I would not be able to live with my partner, who has a cat that before we discovered Malaya's CBD pet treats, I was convinced I could not live with. Without the pet treats, Merlin the cat meows all night beginning between 3-4am, at a volume and intensity that even the most expensive ear plugs can not keep out. But after we discovered this product, this unbelievably needy, loud, anxious cat that frequently peed on the bed if he was left alone, has transformed into a happy, chill cat that I truly love and adore and who sleeps beside us at night like a good, normal cat when he has his medicine. Whenever we run out, Merlin quickly reminds us that we can't live (or sleep) without the CBD pet treats. Thank you Pia and team! read more

I love the Ease lotion as part of my recovery treatment. As a runner and cyclist, it helps for a quicker recovery since I am alternating activities every other day now. Also our dog Hunter, a Siberian Husky, was in bad shape and since he doesn't like the brace for his hip and with no other options we decided to give him the CBD tinture at the suggestion of Pia and Joe, now a few months later, Hunter is back to taking his daily walks (which he missed so much) and does not show the limp anymore. Thanks you all for your great products and we will be back. read more

The owner is friendly, knowledgeable and expert in her product. I recently purchased EASE pain relief cream for my shoulder and its the best product I have used since my two rotator cuff surgeries. I'm also using the RECOVER CBD tincture. It works so well for me I bought a bottle for my sister. I highly recommend you go by Malaya Botanicals for what ails you because definitely she has the products to make you feel better. BTW; next door is an awesome flower shop and great restaurants. read more

I discovered Malaya Botanicals CBD when a friend reccommended I check them out for their CBD cream and CBD tincture for pain. I had been knocked flat on my back by a huge dog running past me at the park at full speed ("oh so sorry, he was so happy to be out finally" said the owner. "yeah thanks" I thought).. I was able to get up and go home but but 3 days later: whiplash...spasms - neck, shoulders, pain, pain, pain. no sleep, can barely move. I am not a fan of pharmaceuticals, so I went and met Pia the owner, and nabbed 1000mg CBD pain cream and 1000mg CBD tincture, and then called a chiropractor. I used the cream 2x a day and the CBD once a day and 3 days later I found my self able to move, sleep.. and get back on the road. Pia, the owner is super sweet, the shop is small and includes a whole array of lifestyle products geared toward women's wellness. She said she's been there for just a few months with most of her products selling through her website which has helped during this pandemic and shut down. She's open now. She said she got into CBD as an injured athlete and found it more than helpful, and now...sharing it with others. I still take the CBD tincture for mild inflammation. It makes me feel good and good is great. The word "Malaya" in Pia's native language Tagalog means "independence" and "freedom" and having that I'd say, is pretty great! Never made it to the Chiropractor as a result, but I still have their number. read more
