This location is right in downtown Oakland, across from the Bart station. You have to walk down a hallway and downstairs, so it's not accessible for people with mobility issues. The prices are a little steep compared to Harborside. Helpful staff. read more

The service was fine once I entered but the SECURITY GUARD was horribly rude. Since this was my first time visiting today I didn't know what to expect; the security guard wasn't looking at me just sat there staring ahead, when I asked him whether I needed to take my ID out or just show him he failed to answer my question (most likely bc he wasn't listening) and stated with attitude I had to show him my ID, I took it out and he snatched it from my hand and threw it on the podium for me to grab. I honestly thought he was mentally ill; he has bitter disdain which is bad for business since he's the first person to greet customers, I hope they replace him with someone with a better attitude otherwise I won't be going back and I'm sure others feel the same. read more

Exceptional store with a great variety of cannabis products. They have great pricing and a phenomenal staff. I've gotten some really good recommendations from them. It's my favorite dispensary in the area. They have a nice selection of 14g and 28g bags of flower. Just a note - They no longer accept any card debit or credit that's under Mastercard. They have an ATM if you need cash buts it's a 3.00 fee. Visa is Ok. No Amex. Location: is a few short walk from 12th street city center or 19th street BART. There parking in the area but good luck as its street parking. read more

When it comes to dispensaries I'm not too picky. If they're offering a good selection with a high percentage of THC then I'm in, but there is nothing better than finding a deal. Nug has recently become my neighborhood healer since RMJ by the lake closed. Service is average. It's best to have cash on hand when you come because their debit card terminals never work. They are located underground so maybe that's the reason, but for the last two months I've been going consistently this has been an issue they tell customers about. It wasn't always like this, but cash is king here. What I like about Nug is that there seems to be a deal here every day of the week. Lately I've been into pre-rolls so there's that. The flower is decently priced here and there, but my bong is clean and I'll keep it that way for the time being. read more

This review has been a long time coming. I held back but I'm still feeling some type of way. Was ready to drop some money on 420 weekend. The bud tender was probably the rudest person I have ever encountered. He clearly did not want to be there. Made me go back to the tables and told me to come back when I was ready. Then he left to go to the back. Mind you I have been coming here for years. Didn't even get a name cause I had another bud tender help me. I actually should've just left cause the excitement of shopping for weed was gone. I won't be back. read more

Rude employees and they won't let us smoke in the lounge unless we buy something from them on that same day even though we have bought many products from them in the past couple of weeks. Would not recommend to anyone. If you want a cool place to feel accepted at any time that you buy products from them, it is Urbana on West grand and Broadway. read more

I've been in Oakland for almost two years, shopped here frequently. That ended today. Two days ago, I purchased a cartridge by Turn, it stopped hitting two days in. The policy states that if defective within 7 days, it can be exchanged with receipt and original packaging. Two days in, you expect it to work, I threw away the packaging. Then it stopped hitting. Sure, I admit my end was throwing away the packaging, but my frustration is that at no point my was my business frequency taken into consideration. It was just, "we don't get credit on a defective product without the packaging." Again, an exchange, not a refund. This tells me that this vendor policy is apparently more important than my repeat business, because I won't be back and I will be discouraging others from doing business here as well. Stand behind the products, I'm sure I would've spent more in the future than your loss on one cartridge would've amounted to. It's the principal. I won't be back. read more

Tap never works. Ever. Deals online are never available here. Better off going to stiizy down the street or nug in alameda

They don't really care about online orders! I set a pick up order an hour before they close. They closed the store before closing time, and then refused to let me pick up my order which they already took my money for even though I told them I couldn't come back until next week due to my schedule! This is a really good dispensary. The bud tenders are quite knowledgeable and the inventory is excellent. I'd particularly like to thank a young woman there - very petite with short hair - who recommended some THCV rich products that they didn't have, which I was able to locate nearby. Good service, good inventory, no complaints. read more

I waited over hour for them to fill order . Also it may seem like a deal with tax included but they JACK UP BASE PRICES then include tax to make it seem like customer is getting a deal. But BEWARE CUSTOMER For example pic is $28 14g shake at nug that one can get with tax for $22 at Oakana. NUG STOP RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS. I'm going to keep putting y'all on blast. maybe it is time for someone to create database of price trends of dispensaries. People have right to now when being swindled. SHIT CUSTOMER SERVICE I went to NUG for the first time because Cookies, just down the street, was closed. I told the guy I needed a disposable vape pen, and he sold me a thing that needs a separate battery. I got no battery! I wanted an all-in-one vape pen. Place is a bit chaotic and disorganized. I guess I should've asked more questions. Tough shit for me, I guess. Never again. read more

Usually I have good experiences at NUG and think it's one of the best dispos in the Bay Area. However they need to check Joseph's attitude at this location. He was extremely disrespectful when it was my turn to order. He spoke with a sarcastic manner saying things like "hello? you see me right here, are you getting something?" He constantly rolled his eyes, made sarcastic hand gestures, and sighed when I had a question. Apparently you're supposed to know everything about a dispo as a customer. No questions allowed for the big boss Joseph. Even when I asked what flavors they had for a specific brand, he responds with "did you not look over there?". Hello? The stuff displayed in the clear cases isn't everything that they have. They always have more flavors behind the counter. This guy is ridiculous. I literally had to switch over to another worker because of this. The other worker was great but unfortunately I have to leave this review to let them know Joseph has got to go. After letting another worker know about Joseph's horrible attitude, they let me know that that's just how he is. LMAO so he's allowed to be rude because "that's how he is". How amazing is that. Big boss Joseph can act however he feels like it everyone! read more

It was my first time going to a dispensary in California, so the process was slightly different than what I am used to in Ohio. The staff was patient and helpful, though! The person who waited on my friend and I was friendly and happy to offer recommendations. I kind of liked how it had a speakeasy feel going into it! read more

Horrible customer service I usually go to the NUG in San Leandro, where they only ID you once I was closer to this location so I decided to stop by on the way home. I'm not sure what was wrong with the guy working but he asked me a question and I told him I was here to pick up an online order. He responded with that's not what I asked you. He had really bad attitude. It was honestly so uncomfortable. I wanted to walk out in that moment. I will never be coming to this location again I think if he's so miserable with his job, he should just quit. read more

Great product selection, embarrassingly awful service. I asked a couple questions about the differences between two products and the rep gave me a clearly bogus runaround answer that wasn't really informative at all - with an attitude of irritation. Then when I tried to pay, it was a nightmare. My card wasn't working - I tried twice. The person just sort of shooed me away without recommending any other options. Come to find out on my own, they don't accept MasterCard. If the attendant had taken two seconds to take a break from her Snapchat, she would've noticed that's why my card was declining. Then I tried to purchase on the app so I could use my Visa card. The app wouldn't successfully let me add anything to my cart. I asked another rep for help and he stood there staring at me while I poked around through the app and just kept saying "i dunno man, it's buggin" After about seven to eight attempts and getting tired of the glazed-over facial expression from the person "helping" me, I just gave up and left without purchasing anything. Huge waste of time. Don't come here. There's too many amazing dispensary options in the area to tolerate mediocre service. read more

Great service, value and selection with daily sales! One of the best in the bay - highly recommended .

Surprisingly good prices on some common products like the Gumball, Glowstick and Puff . Blunts seem to be the average price with other stores. I was supposed to do this review a couple months ago when I stopped in. It had only been open about a weeks so I wasn't sure what to expect. Before entering, you pass a guard and head down a long motion lit hall down to the lower level. You're then verified at the door and a sales person comes also immediately to help (I've been more than once). The room is dimly lit but with a classy edge. I can honestly say I've not been in a dispensary quite like this one...in a good way. It felt like guided concierge service and a downtown club. Plus everyone from the outside security guard to, who I thought might be, the owner were all quite pleasant and helpful. Some items were a bit pricy compared to other places but I attributed to the convenience of a downtown location. I'll be back whenever I'm in town. read more

Great club overall. good customer service and selection. A note for my fellow dabbas. Beware of buying fully concealed concentrates where you cannot see whats in the jar. Ive experienced 3 separate occasions of opening perished grams, where the consistency and smell are way off. I have only experienced this phenomenon from this club, even tho i buy the same product at many others. While on one occasion the gram was replaced. i took an L on the other 2. Bud-tender advised checking the manufacture date before opening in the future. The product was within the expiration date, so I expect a handling mistake on a certain batch. Either way, disappointed to spend $60 on a bad product and upset that nothing was done fix it as a very regular customer. read more
