Her prices are good and I loved her work, so I booked for hair and makeup. She texted me two days before the appointment to confirm. She had another appointment after me so she was unable to travel to me. She works from her home with a room designated as a studio. The studio is super cute with a window and two stations. She is super sweet and easy to talk to. She asked what look I wanted and what I was wearing. The entire process took two hours because we were busy chatting up a storm. I did this session for a birthday photo shoot but the results are of bridal quality. I am super happy with the results and she has a lifetime customer. I highly recommend getting glammed up by Tammy.

I am new to the LA area and my brother's wedding events spanned two weekends in mid-October. My sister and Mom were coming in from DC and also wanted their makeup done, so I took to Yelp to find someone who would come to us and who clearly was familiar with working with darker skin tones. Val was the first one I found and after going to her website, I straight up prayed that we would be lucky enough to work with her. And we did! She met us in random locations in Santa Monica and Malibu, made us look and FEEL beautiful, and above all, made us as comfortable as she could. The makeup matched our skin tones perfectly and was perfectly in place for the whole night. She even saved our butts for a last minute photographer for one of the events! Day of! Val is part of our family now, and I am so grateful to know her let alone have had the opportunity to have had my face touched by her artistic (self-taught?!?!?) hands.

I couldn't find any available or responsive MUAs and was reluctantly accepting I wouldn't get to have the look I wanted. But then I found Natalia! Messaged her late Thursday night and she got back to me in the morning. She squeezed me in for the next day, connected me with an amazing hairstylist Adriana, made booking with both super easy and quick. Natalia's studio is so sweet and welcoming. I showed up with only a headpiece in hand and a theme. No inspo pics and asked them to have fun and do their magic! They sure did!! I felt amazing, best glam I've ever had. They got me done abit sooner than expected, which was so helpful so I could get back to help before the event started! I received sooo many amazing and genuine compliments all night long, people who've seen me daily, for years were even shocked bc they didn't recognize me immediately. I felt gorgeous and starring their contacts because they are now my superstars for that! By the end of the night my look was still perfectly in tact! I was so exhausted after an amazing event that I just crashed when I got home but when I woke up, I honestly could have gone to another event - everything was still on, in place and looking ready to keep going. Oh and the cherry on top, I could do that bc I didn't feel heavy or piled on, from the makeup or the hair products!! If you can, BOOK with her IMMEDIATELY! It'll be the best (and easiest) glam decision you'll make. THANK YOU again Natalia (and Adriana) for making me feel and look better than I could have dreamt of.

We searched around a lot for all of our vendors getting quotes from multiple companies, for flowers, DJ, hair/make up. You name it, we Yelp'ed it. Carla was such a find, what a great person - patient, talented, creative, fun. Carla is based on the east side but was more than happy to drive to Santa Monica to do hair and make up trials for us - 4 hours later we looked awesome!! After deciding Carla was the hair/make-up artist for us and looking at our trial photos we realised we may actually want something a bit different, to try a different hair style. Again Carla was happy to come to SM and do a second hair only trial. This time we nailed it. On the day Carla showed up on time (actually getting there a few minutes before the wedding party did!). She had her work cut out for her - Three bridesmaids hair and TWO brides hair and make up. She started at 9am and by 2pm we all looked amazing :). She was professional through out, never getting stressed, never making a mistake, never complaining about time - 5 hours straight of hair and make up i think is pretty good going! Our shared bride, Caitie, as well as all her bridesmaids, looked absolutely stunning! I've worked many weddings but was very taken aback at how glowy and seamless all of their hair and makeup was at this event. Normally after standing in the sun and dancing, the wedding party begins to look a bit weathered with natural wear and tear on the overall look, especially with eye shadow smearing, etc. Cynthia and her team, on the other hand, did FANTASTIC work, with everyone looking flawless until the very end of the night! Her and her team have such a beautiful talent of accentuating each woman's natural beauty and features while still keeping everthing natural, but elevated. The blush, the highlight, and more specifically the EYES were all just perfect throughout the entire day.
