I first went to her studio in Downey for my bridal hair and makeup trial, then again for my civil wedding, and for my big wedding day in January she and her team came to our hotel in Fullerton with a 4:00 AM start time! Not only did they show up bright and early, but they had me and FIVE bridal party members finished by around 8 AM. I was so impressed with how organized and efficient they were. I actually didn't have the best experience with a previous makeup artist before finding Betty. My first trial elsewhere didn't feel like "me," and they weren't accommodating with my early start time or flexible with adding artists for my bridal party. When I messaged Betty back in April for my January 2026 wedding, she responded quickly, was transparent, kind, and confident. She immediately put together a tentative timeline to make sure everyone would be ready on time and told me, "I can do all that for you!" and she truly meant it. My bridal trial with her was AMAZING. It took about four hours, and I walked out feeling absolutely stunning. I wanted a natural, bronzy look with a brown smoked-out eye and half-up, half-down flowy curls -- not too tight. I have a lot of insecurities (especially about my forehead), but Betty made me feel SO beautiful and confident. My hair and makeup lasted all day, and I was honestly speechless. I loved her work so much that I booked her again for my civil wedding in December. This time we did a completely different vibe -- bronzy, smoky, almost Zendaya-inspired with flowy boho waves -- and she nailed it again. She really takes her time perfecting every detail. She even gave me a little pouch with essentials for touch-ups, which was such a thoughtful touch. I'm pretty quiet, but she made me feel comfortable, played music, and created such a calm environment while getting me ready. For my big wedding in January, I kept the same look from my preview (minus the spray tan this time -- lesson learned from my civil dress ). I was slightly nervous it wouldn't have the same effect, but WOW it was even better. My entire family, who had seen all my previous looks, said this was the best one yet because it truly emphasized my natural beauty. My eyes popped, my hair looked smooth and flowy, and I felt radiant. My hair and makeup lasted ALL day -- through dancing, sweating, crying -- and I only needed minimal touch-ups. I even went to Disneyland that night with my husband and was still getting compliments! Beyond her talent, I was able to talk with Betty and have meaningful conversations that made our time together feel so short. She created such a comfortable and genuine atmosphere. I truly hope we can work together again in the future -- whether it's another special event in my life or for one of my family members. Thank you so much, Betty, for taking care of me and my family. STORY: Last week we had a trial done for a wedding and it was decent - very basic - nothing flashy and using basic MAC makeup I can buy myself - we committed them to the wedding. Yesterday - THEY canceled on us; while this happens, I understand - this "team" refused to refund the $ for the trial. It was not my fault they canceled - we committed them both based on the trial - if I didnt like the trial, I would have still paid it as that's how it works - we know this - BUT it was THEM who canceled. Furthermore, Both didn't need to cancel either, they explained the circumstances and one could still perform for the wedding - but apparently they cannot service the client independently. We would have been ok with at least one of them. I was told if I wanted to get my money back, I would have to give back the make up used in the trial. Really? this is how you run a business? So with little time to go and a budget - we are left having to find someone new. We found someone professional who actually has a contract - not just text message agreement that they can bail out on. Never once asked me where the location was. this has been since July of this year. We're already couple days away from the fucking wedding and all of a sudden she didn't have me on her books She said she didn't have my $50 When I sent that shit back to her back in July As a professional makeup artist, you should've reached out to me and confirmed with me since the wedding is this Friday but instead she had disgusting nasty behavior I do not recommend this business at all business, but having to deal with employees or so-called employees that work there!

I was looking for somewhere to go to get my makeup done because I was going to a Quinceañera and wanted to look nice. I came across her page on yelp and saw her pictures of her work and they looked amazing! So I booked an appointment with her and when I met her she was welcoming. She was really nice and thoughtful in what I wanted for my makeup and asked questions in what I was looking for. During the process I had so much fun talking to her. Normally I'm shy when it's new people but she made me feel like home and we spoke like if she was someone I knew in my life already. Such a wonderful personality and sweet person. When she finished and she showed me I loved it! She still asked me if there was anything I wanted her to change or add to not be afraid to ask. I love this because she was there to help and listen to her clients. But I told her it was perfect! I was super happy with the experience and while I was out at the party everyone gave me so many compliments how nice and natural it fit my face. I wasn't used to all that attention I felt like a baddie at the party lol. I definitely felt super confident with the makeup and my nice dress. My experience with Natalia was great. I booked a last minute appointment yesterday for a family photo shoot. She was able to squeeze me in thankfully. Her assistant did my hair in these beautiful soft curls and natalia left my skin looking so smooth. she did exactly what I showed and told her I wanted. Since I am 56 I am very particular on how I like my makeup and hair and they were spot on. I have never felt more glamorous. I came out feeling like I was a brand new person. First of all, I met Des about 12 years ago when she agreed to do my make up and hair TFP for a photo shoot with a photographer we both knew. But OMG when I looked in the mirror after Des worked her magic on me I had never felt more beautiful in my life, and the confidence I had came shining through in those photos. I had some thoughts on the look which she was eager to hear, she took them and just ran with them like a true professional, completely exceeding my expectations. I felt like we both had so much fun with the whole process. I left feeling like a weight had been lifted off me knowing even if everything else fell apart, at least I was going to look gorgeous on my wedding day! When the day came, Des showed up early and I felt her excitement for me. This isn't just a job to her, her heart is truly in providing an elevated, unique experience giving her bride the royal treatment. She made me feel like an absolute queen. We had some last min changes, both my mom and my future mother in law decided they wanted make up done, and Des had allowed enough buffer time to be able to accommodate them easily without compromising my experience. The whole process was so much more than I realized it would be. It was a full spa treatment, massage, skincare, even deep hand moisturizer, topped with the most gorgeous hair and make up done in such a fun, intentional way. Des has the gift of being able to make it feel like we were just two bff's getting ready for a fun night out, while still being the absolute solid professional I needed to keep me cool and relaxed preparing for the biggest event of my life. When I stepped out of that chair I felt like the most confident, beautiful woman in the world and I am literally tearing up as I write this recalling the feelings I had in that moment. Everything went perfectly that day, and boy did I have some strong emotions during those speeches. My make up and hair held up like Stonehenge and the only thing I ever touched up was my lips. I have already referred Des to my next two girlfriends who are getting married. I hope anyone who is considering booking with her will lock it in because she is an absolute master of her craft, and every woman deserves to feel that feeling especially on the biggest day of her life! I could go on and on about all the wonderful, individually tailored details she provided for my experience and about what I saw of Des' character as a person, but I'm probably already out of room on this review. Then they canceled. Stuff happens, I totally understand - but the way they handled this issue is unprofessional - These girls have come across as unreliable. You may be left hanging on your day or right before. Not refunding money due to THEIR inability to perform is very unprofessional. As a courtesy and good work ethic - this was awful of them to do. When you own a business - and as the business owner you fail to come through - it is the owners responsibilty to ensure the customer still has a positive outcome. This is not who these girls are. STORY: Last week we had a trial done for a wedding and it was decent - very basic - nothing flashy and using basic MAC makeup I can buy myself - we committed them to the wedding. Yesterday - THEY canceled on us; while this happens, I understand - this "team" refused to refund the $ for the trial. It was not my fault they canceled - we committed them both based on the trial - if I didnt like the trial, I would have still paid it as that's how it works - we know this - BUT it was THEM who canceled. Furthermore, Both didn't need to cancel either, they explained the circumstances and one could still perform for the wedding - but apparently they cannot service the client independently. We would have been ok with at least one of them. I was told if I wanted to get my money back, I would have to give back the make up used in the trial. Really? this is how you run a business? So with little time to go and a budget - we are left having to find someone new. We found someone professional who actually has a contract - not just text message agreement that they can bail out on. Not only did they show up bright and early, but they had me and FIVE bridal party members finished by around 8 AM. I was so impressed with how organized and efficient they were. I actually didn't have the best experience with a previous makeup artist before finding Betty. My first trial elsewhere didn't feel like "me," and they weren't accommodating with my early start time or flexible with adding artists for my bridal party. When I messaged Betty back in April for my January 2026 wedding, she responded quickly, was transparent, kind, and confident. She immediately put together a tentative timeline to make sure everyone would be ready on time and told me, "I can do all that for you!" and she truly meant it. My bridal trial with her was AMAZING. It took about four hours, and I walked out feeling absolutely stunning. I wanted a natural, bronzy look with a brown smoked-out eye and half-up, half-down flowy curls -- not too tight. I have a lot of insecurities (especially about my forehead), but Betty made me feel SO beautiful and confident. My hair and makeup lasted all day, and I was honestly speechless. I loved her work so much that I booked her again for my civil wedding in December. This time we did a completely different vibe -- bronzy, smoky, almost Zendaya-inspired with flowy boho waves -- and she nailed it again. She really takes her time perfecting every detail. She even gave me a little pouch with essentials for touch-ups, which was such a thoughtful touch. I'm pretty quiet, but she made me feel comfortable, played music, and created such a calm environment while getting me ready. For my big wedding in January, I kept the same look from my preview (minus the spray tan this time -- lesson learned from my civil dress ). I was slightly nervous it wouldn't have the same effect, but WOW it was even better. My entire family, who had seen all my previous looks, said this was the best one yet because it truly emphasized my natural beauty. My eyes popped, my hair looked smooth and flowy, and I felt radiant. My hair and makeup lasted ALL day -- through dancing, sweating, crying -- and I only needed minimal touch-ups. I even went to Disneyland that night with my husband and was still getting compliments! Beyond her talent, I was able to talk with Betty and have meaningful conversations that made our time together feel so short. She created such a comfortable and genuine atmosphere.
