It was a great experience at first, up until the job was completed. The gentleman, who cleaned the tiles, was spectacular and extremely polite. The level of professionalism and work he provided was 5 stars. The final result was a 4-star, but I will take partial blame for that, see the bottom of the review for why. This is where they received a 2-star review... Laura did not mention in the estimate process that it would be a two-day job. As a business owner who works 7 days a week, driving 45 minutes from my new home to meet them and work at my condo, where I have no furniture, no wifi, and only a laptop, is not efficient and disruptive to my work schedule and clients' needs. However, the gentleman, who serviced the cleaning portion, said I could leave them a key to complete the work the next day without having to return. I requested photos after completion, as I wasn't sure the next time I would make it back to the condo, and I just wanted to see the finished work. They finished on a Thursday. Less than 48 hours later, Saturday morning at 10 am, I received a phone call from Laura harassing me about paying the invoice. I told her I hadn't seen the invoice yet nor any of the photos, and so I apologized for that, but she then demanded I pay over the phone to close out the invoice. I told her I don't feel comfortable giving my credit card over the phone (case in point) and that I would pay the invoice now, yet she continued to harass me as if I wouldn't pay it. In my business, I have clients who often miss invoices and pay late, sometimes even months later, and yes, they receive late fees, but I HAVE NEVER TREATED SOMEONE WITH SUCH DISRESPECT. The only reason I am not giving them a 1-star is that the gentlemen were courteous the entire time. The reason I am not giving them a 3-star, and why I stated the final result was 4-star, circles back to Laura.... I told her my other option was to replace the flooring in the kitchen and to get the bathrooms and lanai grout cleaned. She made promises that they could not deliver on. The "Fix" would have been more than fine if I were still living in the condo. I would have accepted the work and been happy with it. I am NOT doing that. I spent thousands to get this condo ready for rent or to sell, and now I wasted money on something that could ultimately affect the sales/rental price of my property. A trustworthy professional will guide their customers away from poor decisions, even if that means they reduce the total earnings on that sale. Poor business owners will take whatever money they can get today to ruin their business in the future. Needless to say, they ruined opportunities that I referred them to in less than 5 minutes. Wow!! The cleanest the floor has been since the day it was installed. We have a tile floor with grout lines that were impossible to keep clean. This the second time we have had Make Cents Cleaning come out to clean and seal our tile. The first time was back in June of this year. This time, we had them do our master shower. It now looks like it's brand new.
