We received a quote from Hadinger Flooring. Once they had the demolition completed. I received a changed order for 15% more. Was told they need 5 hours of grinding. Came back in 3 hours on 1 grinder and was charged for 5 hours. They had over 1/2 of my condo finished with floor leveler I asked how many bags they used he told me 10. when I went out and counted the used bags only 4 were used. I was charged for 21 bags. This math isn't mathing. All the work is completed by sub-contractors. I would stay at your home and watch and count labor hours and materials actually being used. I will not use Hadinger in the future. 100% of the payment is required up front for all work to begin. read more

We had a great experience with Hadinger. I see some negative reviews about paying 100% up front and we didn't love that either, but they held up their end. We worked with Ron, and I found him to be knowledgeable and helpful: I would definitely recommend him. We went in to purchase laminate flooring, and worked with JP. He was knowledgeable and pleasant. I really thought we were going to do business with him and Hadinger's until I read the second page of quote, which states 100% payment is required before any work is started . Well that is a deal breaker. I was told they don't want to get burned, well what about the customer? I don't know how they stay in business this way. 3 years ago, I hired Hadinger and worked with Ron to refinish all the floors in my home (2-story, 4-bedroom). Their bid, while still expensive, beat others in the area. They did a great job back then! Just recently, I purchased several boxes of of the same LVT to refinish my kitchen area. Ron came to house and provided a quote to replace approximately 120-150 sq ft. While I already had the material and there was no need to level the floor or move any furniture, his quote was over $30 per sq ft. When I questioned this, the response was "The sqft cost to install is $2.95 per sqft. There is so many more charges I'm going to get hit with by our installers in this job. You don't even have enough material to do it. I will have to order more." He was clearly wrong, since my contractor did the job over the weekend and we had three boxes left over. I sent a note to Ron to see if I could return the excess LVT material, but the answer was no. read more

In June 2024, we purchased carpeting from Hadinger. During installation, the installers damaged the vertical blinds in our bedroom while moving our furniture thru the sliders to the outside. I called the Hadinger salesman and he sent a service man out to fix blinds. He could not repair. The salesman said that he had someone else that could fix blinds. That never occurred. After waiting months, we finally bought new blinds. We sent a letter to the President of Hadinger and the salesman along with a copy of the receipt for the new blinds. While we didn't expect Hadinger to completely pay for the replacement, we did expect them to offer something. WE HAVE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! read more

I will never step foot into Hadinger again. Purchased a new wood floor from Hadinger. The first red flag should have been them requiring FULL PAYMENT before they do anything. After our experience I can understand why. We were given a quote for removal of the old floor and installing the new. Once they started the job they informed us that there maybe an additional charge floor prep. Never told us this fact until after we signed the contract and paid the full bill. Added another 18% over the original quote. They ordered the wrong size baseboard so the job took another 2 weeks to complete. Now for the bad part. The installation crew had total disregard for our home or its contents. All the rooms, where they replaced the floors, had hand prints, smudges, damaged drywall. They offered to "touch up". There were so many marked up walls would have made our home like a patchwork. So between the repairs, and repainting all the rooms (just done 14 months ago) it cost us another $9500. Sent an email showing pics of the damage. I was told they were going to show it to management and someone would get back to us. Surprise surprise no one ever did. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Hadinger's customer service. Four years ago we had Hadinger's install flooring throughout our house - carpet and LVP. We had a problem recently and they went over and above to make sure that our concerns were handled. The "two Wayne's" , "Wayne E and Wayne T" or "Wayne 1 or Wayne 2" as they are known and Jeff Klein were terrific! We contracted with this reputable company to install LV flooring in our condo. The business end went well and the finished product is good, but the installation process was miserable. Was told by sales it would take 3 days, it took 3 weeks. Bottom line was we drove down 1700 miles when told it was finished. Our manager called and said our place was uninhabitable. And it was. Dust, debris, material, trash, buckets of stuff, doors not rehung, transition strips missing, furniture not back in place. Worst was someone had used the bathroom and well, ...enough said about that. We raised a big stink ( no pun intended) and got action the next day. Luckily we still owed them a lot of money. Had to get an extension from our BOD to finish the job after the Nov 1. We arrived on a Tuesday and it was finally done on Saturday. Wish I had saved the pictures I took when we arrived. BTW we had to stay with a friend for 2 nights. read more

In February, we purchased a rug and were told it would be a week to two weeks to receive it. On week 2 we received a call saying it would actually be 4-6 weeks and are we ok with that. We said yes as long as it wasn't longer. Well, here we are in month 4, and we are told that it never takes a few weeks, but 4/6 MONTHS to get a rug in. We would have never purchased the rug if we would've been told this. So now we have to wait until June. We were basically blown off after asking to cancel the order and told they can take as long as they want "because it's in their paperwork" which we never signed. The lady we talked to said " my boss says the only way you can get your money back is if I buy the rug, and that isn't happening". Who runs a business like that? The person sold us the rug just to make a commission before she quit- she lied to us- and we are the ones having to suffer. We're in the process of purchasing a new home that requires all new flooring. Guess where we won't be going... There are so many other flooring places in Naples. We've spent at least $20,000 in flooring from them, and they can't be decent to us, knowing their ex employee lied? By the way, we purchased a rug previously from there that we received the next week- and after a year, it's already falling apart. In response to the comment by Rachel, when we purchased the rug, we were told it would be no longer than 4-6 weeks. Not until months later were we told 6 months- after we paid the money, and after we found out the person who lied to us was either fired or quit. No where in the paperwork that we received did it say 4-6 months. We originally had to wait 4-6 weeks only because it was backordered, not because it was custom. horrible experience at Harbinger flooring. floor was improper installed with 4 inch gaps in underlamenant. habinger representive comes out and says they will handle it and under warranty in front of multiple people. we then get a call saying their is a fee. we ask the representative why the back track and he hangs up the phone. this after 1 service visit where the floor repairman did not show up nor call to cancel. the people that did fix the floor on the second visit are good so maybe use them from another company that has ethics and stands up to what they say in front of 3 people. strongly suggest going to another store. read more

I really needed to replace my old carpet and tile and went w LVP. Wendy at Hadinger was my sales person and she was so wonderful and patient w me when I was undecided about rooms to complete. After having them done I wish I would have done all the rooms. They look fantastic!!! Everyone compliments me on the new look. The installers removed old tile and carpet and got the new flooring in within 4 days. They were so nice and cleaned up each day they were there. Great company and would highly recommend. Great salesman at first but now that I am almost ready for the second phase of my work he doesn't return his emails or phone calls. It's like a part time job to try to contact them and monitor the details of the project. Luckily it is not my home. No communication between the details that were needed for the first phase install and the crew they sent out. Then they didn't have enough carpet so I have a me room with ripped nasty carpet still two weeks and counting. We have had nothing but problems with Hadingers. When they arrived to install our 4 rooms of carpet, they only had carpet for 3 rooms. What created an even greater challenges is that the 3 men (sub-contractor?) who arrived never introduced themselves or said hello because they did not speak a single word of English. The inability to communicate made the entire process very frustrating for everyone. Worse yet, when we pressed the Hadinger representative about the challenges, he was dismissive and evasive. Also, Hadingers had told us previously that they could make carpet runners from the excess carpet but when we asked to go ahead and do that, they gave us the name of 3rd party contractor to have them made. I fully understand mistakes happen. But to ignore, lie and be dismissive is inexcusable. We learned that Hadingers just isn't the same quality service company it once was. Lesson learned. read more

I only needed a few replacement tiles from the wholesaler. I wasn't allowed to order directly from the wholesaler but needed a retail outlet to get them for me. The wholesaler gave me the part number and description. When it became clear to Ron, the salesman at Hadinger that my order wasn't significant he said I didn't have enough information for him to order it and he just wasn't helpful at all. It was clear that he wouldn't waste his time on my insignificant needs. I shall remember this lack of service when I need something more significant. read more

Jerry Szymkowski at Hadingers was extremely helpful and gave us many options for new flooring. The installers did a wonderful job and the new hardwood floors look amazing! While visiting Hadingers, we mentioned to Jerry that we were also going to redo the kitchen and he introduced us to Linda Hoover, a kitchen designer at Hadinger. Linda was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She took lots of time with us, gave us great advice and helped us pick the perfect cabinets and layout for our space and budget! The installer, David, was meticulous and the cabinet installation went off without a hitch. I stopped by Hadinger's a few months ago insisting in my mind that I was going to purchase ceramic tile floor. I was quickly greeted by Randy, super nice guy, helpful, and knowledgeable. Randy asked me detailed questions about my project and my goals and after discussing quite a bit he suggested an alternative product that ultimately ended up being a MUCH better fit for my needs at a lower cost. I recently used Hadinger Flooring to to re-tile my bathroom. The end product was wonderful. I was very happy with the time frame of completion and the beautiful details for the time and grouting of the walls and the floor. I also had new cabinets installed which are elegant and spacious. After working with Randy, I must say there aren't many sales reps with his first class customer service and attention to detail. I really enjoyed working with him and would highly recommend him to anyone. The install of the tile went very smoothly. Cornell was the tile installer and is an ace to say the least. The worst experience I have had in buying tile or carpet. The tile was not in stock after I had prepaid. It was a surprise to my salesperson, Ron Manager and Ron told me someone had left the order on their desk and was never re ordered. They told me I would have it in a few days and were paying for fast delivery. That did not happen. I wasted my time and a friends who had came from Ohio to help me lay the tile. Most irritating was the fact I had to call to find out any information. They never called me They offered $25 refund to " make things right" which I feel is insulting given the problems they caused and the additional expenses I had to pay. Wrong measurements, miscommunication, wrong equipment, delays in installation, original crew did not finish job and second crew did not know how to properly lay hardwood floors resulting in a poor finished product. Promises to "make things right". The last room looks like it was a do-it-yourself project intead of done by a professional flooring company.
