I haven't experienced any service at home goods besides the cashiers, they check out my items just fine. The selection at this home goods is always great. I always want to leave with the entire store. The value is as expected. Some things are priced higher than usual due to inflation. They have great selections based off whatever holiday is happening. I try to stay away, but my plastic card insists on visiting, likes to slide through the machine to "pay" for everything I "need" on a daily supply of : 1. Toys 2. Furniture 3. Rugs 4. Snacks, even gluten free 5. Dog toys and leash 6. Outdoor lawn statues 7. Picture frames 8. Pillows, blankets. 9. China, plasticware. Even during season when the crowds are crazy, it all works. Parking is spacious, the strip mall is a relatively calm one, though shared with Kmart and Dollar store. Staff is friendly and do not give you heat when you return items you "needed". Can't beat the prices for quality items and the cutest gift wares, even to yourself. read more

Huge store!! But horrible customer service. Cashier was so rude, didn't say a single word! I said "hello", "the tag came off when I picked it up, there were a lot of similar ones still there if you need to check the price", "thanks". Not a single word, nor did she even make eye contact. I'm sorry but if you're going to work with the public you should at least be decent! I was picking up a rug and nightstands which were held for 24 hours..I decided the rug wasn't going to work and just wanted the nightstands. When the manager asked what I was doing, he chastised me for not wanting the rug and said "it's season" and they don't have time for this and that their policy on return of rugs will be changing..meanwhile, the rug never left the store! Like I took it home and used it and returned it. He totally embarrassed me at the register in front of customers and clerks. I've never been in here before, but I was told I could find some awesome deals....so....here's my review! Walking in, it reminds me of a TJ Maxx. It's very well lit and has aisles of items- all marked down from the store they originally came from. A little of this and a little of that- how fun! I read that going here during season is a nightmare, so I figured now was the time to go...before it got nuts. They have cooking supplies, bedding, lots of home decor and wall art. They have a few pieces of furniture in the back. Some items I was ready to snap up; then noticed they were slightly damaged in some way, so just make sure you triple check everything. I got all the way to the checkout line before I realized one item was missing a small piece. I think there are some cheaply made items there, but for the most part, what they have is pretty decent for the price. If you are looking for a Monet, you won't find it here, but a nice piece of wall art to liven up your wall for under $100 is what you will find. Oh, and don't leave your cart on one aisle while checking out another aisle. I heard a lady get really upset when she did that and the associate grabbed it and started putting items back. So I have a question for corporate. How is it that the store manager named Tom still has a job here? If I could, I would give 0 stars for this place. We just moved here from Colorado and love Homegoods. That is until we shopped here today. Honestly, the worse experience I and my family haVe ever had. During our shopping today, we bought many items including pictures, decorative items, and 2 beautiful lamps that would have gone perfect in our new home in Naples. I had one of the store employees bring up our merchandise as they would not all fit in the shopping cart. Upon checkout, the lady at the register and a man names Tom (whom is the store manager he told me), stated that we did not have 2 lamps now because the other one was broke. Tom tried to brush this off and stated that they did not do this. I asked Tom how it happened and he stated that they were moving them out of the way and the lamp fell. He then stated again though they did not do this! So question for youTom who did this? Did a bird come in and do this? I was absolutely blown away at his demeanor and customer service. As I looked at the lamp shattered all over the floor he never even apologized and also stated "what do you want me to do about it"?. I honestly could not believe what kind of poor customer service I was dealing with when this happened and I was very shocked that a store manager would talk to his customers like this. Also, after I told him that his customer service was terrible, he then walked to another employee working at the cash register and was laughing. So once more I ask you again how is it that Tom is employed here as a store manager? My family and I will never shop here again. This is very sad because we love Homegoods, BUT I will not shop somewhere where the customer is not appreciated at all. Tom, you should really find a career somewhere else maybe where you do not need to have good customer service. This position really is not tailored for you. Crowded aisles over flowing with bored retired housewives, tourists and employees desperatley trying to stock shelves while being run over by customers. What a cluster*uck. If she doesn't want to be there then don't. She doesn't have to take it out on every customer if she is having a bad day. Also before anyone flips out I would say if someone of any color is rude she just happened to be black. She wasn't only rude to me she was rude to the couple in front of me as well. This place is like a giant TJ maxx but with just household knick knacks, furniture and such. I've found unique patio ornaments, kitchen utensils and rugs here when I first moved into our house. Nice place to browse and find things you don't need. Watch out for all the scary housewives who clog this place up in season who will not think twice about running you over with their cart.. read more

First, I'll say I have regularly shopped at Homegoods and made many purchases over the many years. Today, we waited on a line for 20 minutes to return a set of sheets with receipt in hand. Packaging was recycled after washing them once in preparation of putting them on our bed. In the process of moving we attempted to put them on the bed a week or so later and found a 5" hole in the corner. They have never been used and never even put on the bed! Simply washed in a brand new washer. The corner would not hold on the mattress. Returns with a receipt within 30 days, as it indicates on the receipt. Store manager Jana would not issue a credit or provide a replacement set as the packaging was recycled and not present. I would not recommend purchasing anything that comes in a package, as it could be faulty, just like this set of sheets. Unfortunate that Homegoods does not back it's products when they are faulty. In addition, clients don't enjoy waiting on a long line and provide no assistance with an issue like this. I'll think twice about returning. read more

Oh, I love all of these too, but for me the ultimate weakness is HomeGoods. Luckily, or not so luckily for my wallet, there is one near me. Let me warn you now, this particular location isn't the most organized and may have more crowds, but that doesn't stop me. I push through the mess of things and mass of people because you can find really good stuff for your home at really, really good prices. Plus, the merchandise changes almost daily. This store is a decorator's dream! Fun items to purchase and it's fun to browse the aisles! I went there to get decorating ideas and was surprised at all the unique knick knacks and art work. I ended up getting things for my kitchen but I will go back to get some decorative pillows and some wall hangings I saw. I love this store. You can generally find everything fairly easily. Most things are organized together and/or by color. My mother recently moved to Florida and we found pretty much everything she needed to complete her home and make it feel like a home. The most important part everything was super reasonable. We spent $800 on vases, candles, candle holders, misc decorations, towels, sheets, comforters, baskets (you name it) and literally loved everything once we got home. read more

Let me just say I am one of the retirees (but not a bored housewife) that roam the aisles looking for something I am sure I don't need but think I must have or else. No, I don't bump into people with my cart but have been the recipient of many bumps without any "I'm sorry" attached. With that said I have a love/hate relationship with this store. I love that there are so many items to look at but hate that the "designers" grab all the really nice stuff - few and far between. During the "season" it is a madhouse like a Filene Basement sale but then that is when the store seems to stock more items. During Christmas it is "take no prisoners" attitude of the shoppers so be prepared. I have found some things like an end table (Lane) and copper mule mugs which I wish to have buried with me (the mugs not the table) so this is why I like this store. This reinforces my desire to shop there. But 95% of the time I realize I should have stayed home and gone for a walk with my sweet cocker spaniel Champ Bailey. If you are in the market for everything for the home including furniture, rugs, towels, dog supplies, dishes, kitchen ware, etc. check out Homegoods. Pick up a candle or two because they are reasonably priced and hope that the checkout line is short. Btw, let the buyer beware - smell the throw pillows before you buy them. read more

Okay...so here's the update. I had a good solid breakfast and decided to go back to Homegoods in Naples, Fla to try to get the stuff I wanted earlier in the week. It was all there, albeit in different locations...so it took some hunting. When I got to the checkout....around 11 a.m., the line was so long it was crowding the isles. I counted the people. Wow...ONLY 46 people ahead of me! The line move 5 feet in 10 minutes. Now there are 9 people behind me. I had the furniture guy bring two items up front for me and my cart was nearly full. I was ready to pay them approx. $1380 for all I had. Another 5 minutes goes by...no movement....another 5 minutes...no movement...another other 5, we all move 4 feet. I pulled out of line, abandoned my cart, left the furniture up front, and left. Apparently this store doesn't want the money enough to hire more people or add registers. Screw 'em. I'm so done with this location! read more
