Worst experience ever. We paid over 11k for flooring 4 years ago after moving here from St. Louis, Missouri. Our condo is only 1350 square feet.
The salesperson, Marcia told us that this new vinyl fake wood plank flooring was being used in so many developments & the builders were extremely happy with it. Not True!
First, Hadinger installers DID NOT level our existing floors, & has cracked!! As a result the flooring is wavy, has bumps under it, was scratched & looks horrible.
We complained, but the only thing they offered was a hundred dollar gift card for a chain restaurant!!
Sure, we spend 11k & they give us a friggen gift card????
We moved here in April 2014. In September of 2014, my husband who is diabetic found out he had an 8cm cancerous tumor & had to be operated on immediately. We both were so scared. The tumor was removed & then we went through his recovery which was very difficult.
During the treatment & recovery, we thought of nothing but his cancer. His doctor told him is that he has an 80% survival rate IF he remained cancer free for 5 years with scans done every year during those 5 years.
A few months later, I was diagnosed with a rare immune disorder called CVID which could cause lymphoma, cancer. I went through testing to rule out cancer & it was the most painful experience of my life. After the cancer was ruled out, I had to begin SubQ infusions of Gamma Globulin which was what my immune system needed the most.
Then there was a trial period to see which IGG would work best for me & not make me sick.
The first three made me so very sick & I ended up with Meningitis.
THESE ISSUES OCCUPIED ALL OUR TIME!
I finally was feeling better by April 2015. I called Hadinger & asked someone to come & look at the flooring. They sent out a manager and he acknowledged that the floor looked terrible, BUT there was nothing he could do about it because I should have reported it before 1 year!!!!!
BUT, I did call before a year & also asked him to understand how deadly ill we had been!
He said he would have to go back & talk to other manager & would call me. NO CALL, NO FOLLOW UP.
Later in 2015, my husband stopped by the store. After talking to the manager's they had the nerve to tell him that the best they could do is give us a credit of 3k & then use that to buy a new floor from them!
In 2016, we contacted Mannington Floors where Hadinger purchased the floor. They told us that Hadinger should have given us all of our money back plus pain & suffering.
I called Hadinger again & they laughed at me.
In 2017, I took a terrible fall due to the wavy flooring. I broke my humerus bone in 4 places. I needed surgery & now have many screws & a plate in my arm. I was in the hospital 7 days, then sent immediately to a re-hab facility for 7 days. I had to pay for a caregiver & had home rehab with both Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy Monday through Friday, plus a nurse who came once a week.
The cast went from my shoulder all the way down past my fingertips. When the cast came off, I had wrist drop & my hand was curled up so that I couldn't move it or my fingers.
I was sent once again to rehab to work on my now atrophied arm & to work hard to get my hand to move again. Terrible pain due to nerve damage. My hand is now moving, but I drop a lot of things due to continued nerve damage in my thumb.
During the time in 2017, while my cast was still on, I asked my sister to help me go to Hadinger's.
I talked to one of the same managers & asked him to DO THE RIGHT THING & replace the floor. He said that he would have to talk to the other manager who wasn't there at the time. I didn't believe him, but I had to leave due to pain.
Since then, we have heard NOTHING from them.
HADINGER,
I guess I could SUE you or I could call the Attorney General for Consumer Fraud!
You messed up our floor, you are responsible for my permanently damaged arm, you've done ZERO about this issue
WARNING TO CONSUMERS,
RUN, NOT WALK, BUT RUN FROM THIS SHADY, SHODDY, CROOKED PLACE!!!!!
HADINGER, WE WANT ALL OUR MONEY BACK PLUS INTEREST, PLUS DAMAGES.
My hospital bill alone was over $100,000 NOT including the rehab, not including surgery fee's, not including the many scans I had. read more
