We ordered the Seabass and the halibut, and were extremely delighted with these two dishes, as well as the scallop carpaccio as an appetizer. It is pricey here, but well worth the overall experience! When we arrived we were scolded by the hostess for being an hour early. We had an email confirmation for our 6:00 pm reservation and she insisted it was for 7:00 pm. We waited for extended lengths of time for assistance. The food was very good, but being sat in a back room and scolded by a hostess made it a very off putting experience. We will not be back.

Solid spot for great beer and good food on the Lesser Town side of Prague!…read more We happened to stumble on this little nook on our way back from visiting Prague castle. It's an absolutely stunning environment with natural elements and great beer. The service was really good and they had good beer options for every beer drinker. We ordered light and dark beer and were super pleased with everything we had! We decided to order some traditional Czech food. We ordered "the best sausages in Prague," to which we agreed, marinated Camabert cheese, and pickled Czech sausage. All the food came with bread, which to die for. The traditional sausages and the camabert cheese were outstanding- we couldn't get enough! The pickled Czech sausage was not the best fit for us. We may not be the best to speak on it, but it just wasn't our favorite. Overall, make sure to stop by and grab a beer and a quick bite to eat at this super cute brewery! You'll forget you're in one of the most touristy spots in lesser town.

I waited about 45 minutes to an hour, so patience is definitely part of the experience. That said, if you happen to be walking by and notice the line is unusually short, take that as your sign and get in line immediately. You may never see an opportunity like that again. Service was great, and everyone was friendly and welcoming despite how busy they were. They even surprised us with complimentary shots at the end of the meal, which was a fun way to finish things off. The food alone makes this one worth putting on your Prague list--just be prepared to wait for it!

Pork's almost always has a line and is known amongst locals as a tourist spot. Despite this, I…read morefound that Pork's had some of the best pork knuckles that I tried in Prague. After trying some relatively disappointing pork knuckles, I decided to take a chance on Pork's. We went after visiting the Prague Castle around 3 PM. Having walked past it a few times, there was always a line, and I was hoping eating between meal times would help. While it was shorter, there was still a line, but it moved quickly. When we got into the restaurant, I immediately noticed how smoothly everything operated. The restaurant was quite large. Much bigger than I anticipated. The second we sat down, a server approached us to ask if we knew what we wanted. It was clear that their main goal was to rotate people out of the restaurant as fast as possible. I knew I wanted the pork knuckle, but I wish we had a bit more time to look through everything, including the drinks. I ordered the pork knuckle first and planned to get a drink when the server came back. Before I knew it, the dish was on our table. With the small menu and constant turnaround, it wasn't surprising that the food was already prepared and only needed to be plated and sent to our table. It took about three minutes total. The skin was extremely crisp, so much so that it was hard to cut through at points, but the knives provided were nice and sharp. The first bite I had was extraordinary. The meat inside was still juicy and tender despite not being made to order. It was so soft and contrasted perfectly with the crispy and oily skin. It was very rich, but was nicely balanced by the necessary mustard that came with it. As I continued eating, I found that the whole knuckle wasn't perfectly consistent, with some bites being slightly dry. However, this didn't take away from the overall experience and the high highs that the dish achieved. If anything, there needed to be a little more mustard just to have enough for each bite of meat. The pork knuckle here was the best I had during my time in Prague. Pork's is all about putting food on the table and cycling guests in and out of their restaurant, which I respected. They aren't trying to blow customers away with outstanding service, which is still friendly, but is very limited in interactions to keep things quick. The food alone carries the restaurant to a high mark that makes up for any shortcomings in the service experience. Pork's is an easy restaurant to recommend in Prague as a great place to try a delicious pork knuckle and more.

Nice shower, free robe to use, welcome drink, and quiet hotel tucked away in a great location. The restaurant made a cute breakfast spread. It was delicious and a great deal since it was included in the hotel price. The salmon on the little benedict tasted fishy though. We were impressed with the breakfast spread and heard great things about the restaurant that we decided to have dinner here. Sooo gross. A mushroom pasta appetizer was delicious and then I got a dry, flavorless "chicken marsala". It tasted liked bbq sauce and the dryest, bland chicken breast. My husband's beef was also an odd mix of flavors, tough, and just plain gross.

This place is located on a corner, facing a very busy square. There are outside tables, but we opted to sit inside as it was a somewhat chilly October evening. The interior is nicely decorated with lots of rich wood. Our broken Czech was not a problem as the staff all spoke pretty good English. For dinner I ordered the Roast Rabbit with bacon & gnocchi, while P ordered Risotto with mushrooms. There was also lots of cold Pilsner and Czech wine. Everything was extremely good and we definitely enjoyed people-watching out the window next to our table. With a favorable USD to Krona conversion rate, our evening cost less than $48. Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening.

The JM stated it's spicy, and it was indeed so. The JJ is also a good sized portion, but it had too much going on for K. What really let the meal down was the fries.
