I wanted a change from Eastern European food so we went to this Belgian restaurant right off Pařížská street. All four of us ordered Moules prepared in different ways. Meunière, Provençal, in wine and tarragon with pickled mushrooms. We also had fries and toasted baguettes. We had Czech beers and sparkling water with our Moules. A very nice break from the meat heavy heals we've had this week.

Looking for a romantic place to have dinner and with good lighting? Well this is your spot! The mussels and bread were excellent! I could've spent all night here. The wine was fabulous, the service awesome, and the memories were even better.

I was in Prague last week and happened upon Les Moules with some of my traveling companions. We checked out the menu and the Yelp reviews and decided we had to come back for dinner - we were not disappointed. We each got an order of mussels to share as well as two baskets of breads and two orders of fries. Among us we had the beer and bacon, chorizo, dijon mustard, and white wine. I'd have to say the chorizo was my favorite and I was sad I was not the one to order it. It was extremely flavorful and had just the right amount of kick to it. The fries and bread baskets were also a hit and complemented the mussels perfectly. The ambiance and service at Les Moules are also a big win. Service throughout my Europe trip was spotty but at this restaurant our waiter was attentive and made great recommendations. His awesome service as well as the atmosphere in the restaurant made us feel right at home and made for one of the most relaxing and enjoyable meals of my trip abroad. I'd highly recommend Les Moules to anyone looking to try out mussels in Prague.

Back in the days I didn't care too much for mussels, but when I went to France my husband let me tried some of his, I was hooked. We found Les Moules after touring the Jewish Quarter and were getting hungry so we stopped by. We ordered Thai Style Mussels and Peppercorn Mussels. They both are vey good and well spiced. The Thai Style broth is similar to Tom Kah (coconut soup). It was served with a side of rice which we devoured with the left over mussels broth. Since I usually craved Thai food when I travel, this place provides a good compromise between my husband and with eating Thai food and Western food.

Small restaurant located at the old Jewish quarter, a stone throw from the cemetery. One of few places where you can walk in without reservation on Xmas eve night. Mussels seems to be the house speciality, being cultivated in Denmark according to the restaurant. Ordered two main dish, mussels in white wine with celery and onions, and the fried fish (can't remember the fish name). The mussels were good, tender and juicy unlike other restaurants where you would find them kinda rubbery. For this, I would have given it a four stars. Reason for three was the poor presentation of the fish. It came without any side dishes. The three stars were also due to the level of service which I found rather disappointing since the restaurant was almost empty on Xmas eve and the service staffs did not appear to be pleased in serving us. Go if you are looking for mussels, otherwise, look elsewhere.

This place can accomodate very large groups! My classmates decided on mussles for lunch to celebrate the end of our law school summer intensive program at Charles University. We were a group of 10 and were able to walk in and score a table within 2 minutes at around 3pm for a late lunch. I had a glass of sparkling rose to celebrate and ordered the mussles provençale style with a side of belgian style chip. The provençale style are made with bay leaf and other herbs and diced tomatoes in a clear broth. They provide bread for the table and an additional bowl to dump your shells into. Everything was really good. I left feeling full and ready for a nap! As normal in Prague during summer, air conditioning is a luxury and Les Moules doesn´t use one. I recommend to order a cool drink to cool off or venturing down the street to grab a scoop of gelato after your meal!

Mussels were delicious. We had the two pounds of mussels which is a large portion but I had to finish because it is a sin to leave such delicious food. We also tried beef tartare which is different!! The service was really good!!

Well-- it beat hunger. Not really impressed. The staff is completely indifferent--- I'm being kind. I ordered the traditional moules-frites. Giving them the benefit of the doubt-- I came in at 2:00. Maybe I received the tail end of the lunch mussles-- they were in the dry and shriveled stage of life. I literally spit 3 out. (Not easy for this proper southern girl to do!) Sad I wasted a lunch here in this beautiful city.

Les Moules isn't exactly a 5 star restaurant, but between the tasty food, great service, and ease of entry, we were all very ecstatic that we came upon this little cafe restaurant. We stayed at the Hotel Intercontinental, so we passed by this restaurant many times--and to be quite honest, the Yelp and trip advisor reviews were very underwhelming. But, we decided to venture in one day--even though we knew that mussels are supposed to be from Belgium. Les Moules did have like a hundred Belgian draft beers on tap. Quite amazing. And most yummy as well. We were seated right away, even though we just walked off the street without a reservation. We were very politely directed to a nice table, no problem at all. (Wednesday night, ~7:30pm). After our beers, we started with the duck salad. The duck was perfectly smoked. And the pickled apricots complemented the overall salad perfectly. We ordered to servings of 'les Moules'. One was with the garlic base and the other was with the white wine base. We also ordered the biscotec and the grilled octopus. Our sides included French fries, garlic bread, jasmine rice, roasted veggies, and yogurt dill cucumbers. Needless to say, this was a TON of food for four people. Portions were very generous. There was plenty for us to share and sample. The mussels were delicately seasoned and prepared. Very delicious! Especially tasty with garlic bread and French fries. The octopus was a wonderful surprise. It was tender and perfectly grilled. It was not rubbery at all. Chewing was not difficult! But the flavours were amazing! Finally, steak is steak. It was very well grilled to perfection. All in all, this was a surprisingly nice meal. The waitstaff was attentive but not pushy or overbearing. They switched out the shell bowls several times. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and satiating meal. Would definitely recommend!!

The food is delicious and waiters are friendly. I would recommend you to come and enjoy the seafood here. One more thing, the beer is really in a big cup!

Staff: very friendly and patient because we were with a tour so lots of orders and requests but she was always kind and humorous, too. Food: 1. Soup: the reason why I docked some points was mainly because of the soup. Though the meat and veggie soup had great flavors, it was incredibly salty. I saw some people eat all the bread with it or poured some still water to dilute. 2. Pork chop: huge portion and very thick pork chop I was quite surprised! It was cooked well and the potato salad underneath was a bit tangy so it went really well with the meat. 3. Honey cake: it was on the drier side. For me, I'm not a fan of honey flavored things. However, those who like honey, this is something you'll love because it didn't have the artificial honey flavors; I'm pretty sure it's made out of real honey! (My dad got salmon as his entree and I was able to try a bit. It was cooked perfectly and super tender, I'd recommend!)

Off-the-Beaten-Path Gem with Retro Vibes & Great Beer!…read more U Sadu is exactly the kind of pub you hope to find in Prague -- tucked away from the main tourist crowds, giving it that authentic, local feel. It's the kind of spot where you can imagine regulars have their favorite tables, and visitors like us feel lucky to have stumbled in. Beer & Food The beer selection is outstanding -- plenty of great Czech options on tap, and everything we tried was fresh and perfectly poured. The food was delicious, hearty, and comforting -- ideal to pair with a pint or two. Vibe & Atmosphere Step inside and you'll feel like you've been transported to the '80s -- with Scorpions playing in the background, vintage decor everywhere (think funky thrift-store meets cozy dive bar), and that moody, dim lighting that makes the whole space feel chill and relaxed. There are even board games on the tables, adding to the laid-back, friendly atmosphere. Whether you're sipping beer with friends or just people-watching, the whole place gives off cool, retro-local vibes. Service Our server was attentive, kind, and super efficient -- even with a full house. It's clear they know how to take care of their guests without being pushy or rushed.
