Staff: very friendly and patient because we were with a tour so lots of orders and requests but she was always kind and humorous, too. Food: 1. Soup: the reason why I docked some points was mainly because of the soup. Though the meat and veggie soup had great flavors, it was incredibly salty. I saw some people eat all the bread with it or poured some still water to dilute. 2. Pork chop: huge portion and very thick pork chop I was quite surprised! It was cooked well and the potato salad underneath was a bit tangy so it went really well with the meat. 3. Honey cake: it was on the drier side. For me, I'm not a fan of honey flavored things. However, those who like honey, this is something you'll love because it didn't have the artificial honey flavors; I'm pretty sure it's made out of real honey! (My dad got salmon as his entree and I was able to try a bit. It was cooked perfectly and super tender, I'd recommend!)

Off-the-Beaten-Path Gem with Retro Vibes & Great Beer!…read more U Sadu is exactly the kind of pub you hope to find in Prague -- tucked away from the main tourist crowds, giving it that authentic, local feel. It's the kind of spot where you can imagine regulars have their favorite tables, and visitors like us feel lucky to have stumbled in. Beer & Food The beer selection is outstanding -- plenty of great Czech options on tap, and everything we tried was fresh and perfectly poured. The food was delicious, hearty, and comforting -- ideal to pair with a pint or two. Vibe & Atmosphere Step inside and you'll feel like you've been transported to the '80s -- with Scorpions playing in the background, vintage decor everywhere (think funky thrift-store meets cozy dive bar), and that moody, dim lighting that makes the whole space feel chill and relaxed. There are even board games on the tables, adding to the laid-back, friendly atmosphere. Whether you're sipping beer with friends or just people-watching, the whole place gives off cool, retro-local vibes. Service Our server was attentive, kind, and super efficient -- even with a full house. It's clear they know how to take care of their guests without being pushy or rushed. Highly recommend U Sadu if you're looking for a local-feeling pub with character, great beer, and a totally unique vibe in Prague. One of the best surprises of our trip!

Then comes back a few minutes later and says "faster" as we order. I order cider and point to the one I want on the menu and he says "I know what a cider is." Then he proceeds to get our entire order wrong. We try to tell a different waiter that our order is wrong but no one ever comes back to fix it so we just drink the drinks we had. Then when it came time to pay, we let them know the whole order was incorrect and that we shouldn't have to pay for what we didn't order, but he got super upset and made us pay anyway. I work in the service industry and understand having bad days, but this was just next level. The beer and wine was gross anyway and the vibe in there was not good. 0/10 do not recommend.

So happy this place just opened! It's located right by the Krymska stop (tram 22, bus 135). Their…read moreoverall concept is street food, "Conductor- your street food maestro!" . According to the owner, the name pays homage to a famous Czech conductor who used to live in the building. Pages of his music are on the walls inside the small yet brightly lit space. This is a "take away" place as there is currently not any available seating, although you're more than welcome to eat there and sit on the little bench by the window. Food options are limited: beef stew with homemade bread, bbq pulled pork sandwiches, freshly baked cinnamon rolls, and a daily special. They also serve chai tea lattes, lemonades, and coffee. I've had the pulled pork sandwich and the cinnamon roll. The pulled pork is delicious!! Not the best I've ever had but the best I've had in Europe. Great flavor and all meat, no chunks of fat/gristle. It comes topped with a delicious coleslaw. I only wish there was more meat in the sandwich and would love if they offered a side of baked beans. Overall, I'm very happy to have found real, unpretentious bbq pulled pork in Prague. Yes, there are other American style bbq and burger spots in the city, but they seem to all be sit down restaurants that cost a bit more than a casual meaty sandwich should. Now onto the cinnamon rolls... If you only get one thing this should be it. It is so fluffy and sticky sweet with just the right amount of cinnamon. The cream cheese frosting/glaze is divine. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My only gripe is that they are not open in the mornings. I'd love to pop in for a cinnamon roll before heading off to work. I haven't had anything else yet, but my friend had the daily special (it was some sort of Thai pork belly dish) and he said it was amazing. The owner is really genuinely kind and I hope this place succeeds. He plans to expand food offerings once the place gets going a bit. This place is a great little addition to the neighborhood. **Update** Prices have increased by 10kč Cinnamon rolls are still amazing.

About half of the wrap selections are vegetarian or vegan. I think the menu items change sometimes, but we tried both the Mega Wrap and the Pav Bhaji and loved them. As noted earlier, it's a take-away street food concept, so there are no tables, but there is a small bar you can stand at. I happened to be staying around the corner from The Conductor, but it's definitely worth jumping on the 22 tram for. I liked it so much I grabbed a wrap for my 9 plus hour flight back to America.
