Had a great time in this lovely beer garden tucked away from the tourist scene. Great beer selection. A must see IMHO. Cheers!

This was our first food stop in Prague! It was close to where we were staying and after dropping off our luggage, we ended up here for a beer and snacks. Although they had flights, I wasn't in the mood to sample and just ordered their special of the day - a pilsner that was on draft and it was a good choice. Also got the pumpkin seed hummus which was delicious. My husband got sausage plate which came with pickles and their brown bread (tastes like rye & wheat and we ate this bread often during our stay). The server and the bartender were very helpful and made good suggestions. It was a bit crowded in there so it got a little loud, but it was fine since although we were seated so close to others everyone was friendly. Stopping here at U Kunstatu was a good way to start our trip! We got some energy for walking around old town in the freezing cold and wind lol. I would love to come again and visit this craft beer bar in warmer weather to enjoy the patio and beer garden.

Great place to try some delicious beer! Even though I don't like beer, I was able to find some beers that taste nothing like beer and were actually very delicious! My boyfriend on the other hand loves beer and was able to enjoy many delicious beers as well! The staff was wonderful and accurately picked beers for us that we'd like. I would suggest coming here as a little break in the day to just relax, enjoy a drink and the company of your friends. They even have some board games you can play as you enjoy your drinks. Overall this place is more of a chill vibe and not a loud party vibe. I highly recommend!

Amazing flight of craft beer! Great service. Off the tourist trap path. Worth the visit.

Lots of beer options with fruity/floral flavors. We got a lager and a lighter ale with elderflower notes and enjoyed it in the courtyard. Take a tour downstairs in this 12th century building before you leave to learn a bit about the history of the place.

    Garden seating (they play music!)

Tldr: great place to try a lot of different beers at once. Fabulous service and ambiance. I'm not a fan of beer. I loved 3 of the 6 the beers I tried here. When in Prague, how can you not at least try the local brews? This place blew my expectations out of the water! There was both indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately, there were no outdoor seats when we got there, but we go to chat with some locals by our table. I tried the 350 czk beer tasting and told our server that A) I don't know anything about beer, B) I want to try a variety of flavor profiles, and C) I don't like the taste of traditional beer. The tasting gives you 6 types of beer for a total of 2 pints. I also had a traditional Czech sausage which came with some break, pickles and pickled pearl onions. My tasting: (in order of preference) 3: (on tap) Neipa Galaxy + Mosaic 17- New England Indian Pale Ale 31: Strawberry Porter- Kocour Brewery 90: Weizenbier- Primator Brewery, CZ hops 1: (on tap) Max 11- Czech pilsner 87: Sour 12 Passion Fruit- Zichovec Brewery, Berliner Weisse 95: Bohemian Ale- Bernard Brewery, CZ hops

Tried the 6 beer sampler for 350 ckz: 1. #90 Weizenbier (wheat beer) 2. #4 Bakalar (light lager) 3. #26 Boruvka (flavoured lager) 4. #2 Katerina (dark lager) 5. #95 Bohemian Ale (Belgian ale) 6. #22 Coco Channel (Porter) Total combined amount is 2 pints. Open at 2pm and I was the first customer!

U Kunštátů is a tucked away beer garden that is surprisingly hidden away from the fuss of the tourists. They have a large beer selection hailing from various places around the world, and they also have a cool array of rare/interesting bottled beers that come in 0.3-0.7L; they also sell typical beer garden snacks/food. Service was superb: thank you to the gentlemen originally from Idaho for talking with me on my solo travel and showing me some interesting beers, cheers mate! The garden has numerous large tables, indoor seating near the bar, and catacombs (yes, you read correctly), next to the water closet. Prices range depending on the rarity of the beer, but they all seemed reasonable to me. Ordered: Ferdinand brewery's Czech Pilsner - Sweet and easy going light beer Permon Brewery's Psenicny (Wheat) Special - clove-y, unpasteurized, unfiltered wheat beer, one of my favorites here Eggenberg Brewery's Nakoureny Svihak - smokey dark lager. Taste a bit salty while colder and more smokey while warmer

Great beer selection. Awesome service and conversation with the staff! The beer taster is highly recommended! The Czech plum shot is not to be messed with :|

Great beer selection and nice tucked away location. We also sampled their artisanal and farmers sausages and they were very good!
