The most important! This venue is fantastic. It is clean, spacious, and the sound is great! I have not found a weak spot yet and I have been to a handfuls of shows. 2. Street parking! I've never once had to park in the ramp 3. Restaurants, you can easily find a pre show dinner. I love going to Katsuya across the street 4. Affordable beverages, you don't have to worry about paying an arm and a leg for a water or wine 5. Plenty of indoor seating before the show starts. If you came a little early, there are tables and cushioned benches stationed around the venue I highly recommend coming to Fox Cities for a show! If you're from out of town, it is definitely worth the drive for that show you want to see!

If you didn't know it was a church, I guarantee you would walk right past it as there's no big sign saying "Outer Edge." The inside is beautiful and a great space for a couple hundred person concert. The layout of this show was smartly designed. One side was all chairs for folks who wanted to sit, and the other side had some high tables and plenty of space to stand or put on your dancing shoes and shake your booty! I bet for any type of concert, they know how to use the space to make it the best experience for everyone!

I cannot express enough how perfect my wedding day was at Poplar Hall. This venue is truly a dream…read more It's stunning, modern, and beautifully designed--plus the landscape around the property gives you endless photo opportunities without ever needing to leave. Everything is easily accessible, and having a hotel just a short walk away made the entire weekend seamless for us and our guests. Poplar Hall offered fantastic food recommendations, an awesome bar menu, and--best of all--a coordinator included with the venue. And let me tell you... Nikki is extraordinary. She was the calm, organized, joyful presence every bride hopes for. Throughout the planning process, she met with us, guided us, and always knew exactly what needed to be done and when. On the wedding day, she made sure everything ran flawlessly and kept me completely stress‑free. She decorated for us, ran our rehearsal (even though it wasn't held at Poplar Hall), and handled cleanup so that at the end of the night all we had to do was load our boxes and head out. She even referred to me as "Mrs." all night long and again on our final invoice--such a small detail, but one that meant so much. Poplar Hall is breathtaking, and Nikki is truly a gem. I am endlessly grateful that we chose this venue. I would recommend Poplar Hall to any couple looking for a beautiful space and a coordinator who genuinely cares about making your day perfect.

This place was incredible. I'm a saxophone player and was doing a performance at UW Oshkosh, when a…read morescrew came out of my instrument. Chris, the repair tech at the location in Appleton, sent me a replacement through a third party. He didn't have my saxophone so he was hoping that the one he sent would be the correct screw--sadly (100% not anyone's fault) it was not correct. But it did screw in far enough to hold the post in place for the duration of the concert, it was a huge deal for me. The next day I was directed by the good people at the Heid Music location in Oshkosh (a beautiful place, with welcoming, and highly competent staff) to take my instrument to the location in Appleton, where Chris was working. The brand of screw that was supposed to fit my instrument wasn't fitting. Chris, with me in the repair room with him, exhaustively went through all the possibilities until he stumbled on a Yamaha screw that fit in my Selmer saxophone. He was engaging, and generous, and clearly had a serious know-how about the instrument (mine) he was working on. I can't recommend Heid Music enough. The stores are beautiful, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have an exhaustive inventory: a good mix of affordable student instruments and high end professional instruments, infinite pianos and string instruments, walls and walls and shelves and shelves of music books.
