We are so thrilled with our daughter's University of Arizona graduation photos from Jennifer Lee…read morePhotography! This was everything we hoped for and her photos came out capturing our daughter's smile ; personality; the memories of her years at U of A. We even had some photos taken in the desert to show what going to college in Arizona truly embodies ! We wanted some photos taken with her boyfriend and her bestie in their cap and gowns too; that was not an issue! Jennifer has a lot of patience and goes over everything with you when you pre - hire and post - hire her. If you have questions , she is quick to respond ... I had many! My daughter wanted A LOT of 'props' and poses and I wanted to make sure we didn't spend twelve hours in the heat , for example, baking doing 150 repetitive scorpions for the perfect shot ! Jennifer also allowed for a few changes in clothing / shoes for different places on campus and to the 'golden hour ' at Sabino Canyon.. she even brought a beautiful antique pink velvet chair for the shoot! We were allowed to pick a lot of shots to have edited .. there were so many great ones to choose from , it was hard! Then the prints you can actually purchase from Jennifer's site are very good quality and came in two days , which was amazing as I used them at Alexa's graduation celebration at our country club and her guest book! The wallets were great for the announcements & thank you notes ! We are so impressed! Prefect in so many ways ! You get these memories once in a lifetime.. don't take the chance of not having them be all they should be .. We didn't find Jennifer Lee to be over the top expensive or unreasonable and she spent a lot of time making sure she got the perfect shots !

I didn't know any photographers in the area and I found her on Yelp and hired her after seeing the reviews online. Jennifer was very quick to respond, she gave me detailed information before the session and the photos were absolutely first class. Jennifer took the time to meet with us and walked all through the campus where my son spent most of his time during college. She didn't rush through our photo shoot, she took her time to insure we got some great shots. In addition, we chose to purchase extra hours to get some photographs in the desert. Everyone who has seen his pics have been in awe!! I am so grateful we met Jen and look forward to hiring her again if ever in Tucson. Take a looks at these pics. I'm super picky!! She truly is incredible and captured some great moments and shots!

I cannot express enough how perfect my wedding day was at Poplar Hall. This venue is truly a dream…read more It's stunning, modern, and beautifully designed--plus the landscape around the property gives you endless photo opportunities without ever needing to leave. Everything is easily accessible, and having a hotel just a short walk away made the entire weekend seamless for us and our guests. Poplar Hall offered fantastic food recommendations, an awesome bar menu, and--best of all--a coordinator included with the venue. And let me tell you... Nikki is extraordinary. She was the calm, organized, joyful presence every bride hopes for. Throughout the planning process, she met with us, guided us, and always knew exactly what needed to be done and when. On the wedding day, she made sure everything ran flawlessly and kept me completely stress‑free. She decorated for us, ran our rehearsal (even though it wasn't held at Poplar Hall), and handled cleanup so that at the end of the night all we had to do was load our boxes and head out. She even referred to me as "Mrs." all night long and again on our final invoice--such a small detail, but one that meant so much. Poplar Hall is breathtaking, and Nikki is truly a gem. I am endlessly grateful that we chose this venue. I would recommend Poplar Hall to any couple looking for a beautiful space and a coordinator who genuinely cares about making your day perfect.

If you didn't know it was a church, I guarantee you would walk right past it as there's no big sign saying "Outer Edge." The inside is beautiful and a great space for a couple hundred person concert. The layout of this show was smartly designed. One side was all chairs for folks who wanted to sit, and the other side had some high tables and plenty of space to stand or put on your dancing shoes and shake your booty! I bet for any type of concert, they know how to use the space to make it the best experience for everyone!

The neighborhood around it looks run-down and the building itself looks like an old church or Freemason's temple, but then you go indoors and...woah. Mrs. Q enjoyed the Houdini part because it had many "hands on" exhibit. Most you could try yourself! Yes, they do warn you about finding out how magicians accomplish their tricks - so if you don't want to know - skip that part. Houdini likes to say that he is from Appleton but was really was born in the Hungary and lived in Appleton as a child. Mrs. Q finds it interesting that Houdini did not believe in mediums and psychics. His training in magic helped him expose frauds that scientists and academics could not. He chronicled his time investigating the occult in his book, "A Magician Among the Spirits". An interesting Museum - granted, not the largest you might have ever seen but enjoyable non the less. Houdini died in an unusual way and a replica of the coffin he used for one of his magic tricks is on display. A bit of history about arry Houdini: www.thegreatharryhoudini.com/ Alice 34203 and 60660

Studio 708 is a new partnership between two photographers, Katy Frey and Tim Neubauer. I first…read morefound Katy under Charizma Photography, and she returned my voicemail regarding a quiet courthouse wedding within hours (unlike days or never, like two others I tried). Katy assured me that she has shot hundreds of weddings, was married at the courthouse herself, and that we could easily get some beautiful photos at a non-wedding craziness rate. She was super personable on the phone and invited us to come by her studio to talk in person and see some of her work, which we did. We agreed on an hour for $300, including full digital rights, and she offered us an additional hour for $150, which we took her up on. Katy also volunteered that since her partner Tim was available, he would come along too to help with lighting and such. The day of, they came to our house as planned, followed us to the courthouse, and took us around town to some pre-selected spots (we asked for urban/industrial). They even had the perfect spot picked out to photograph the now-husband's car, on top of the Best Western's parking garage. Katy and Tim were both very laid back and fun to be around, but had tons of cameras and lighting equipment that they clearly knew how to use. They were also great at helping us pose in flattering ways, even when it seemed counter-intuitive (no dead hands allowed, chin down, kick a foot out, that kind of thing). When I asked, Katy told me that the photos would be available in 2-3 weeks (shorter than usual for a wedding, since this was more like an engagement shoot). Well, just 4 days after our wedding, the photos have arrived and I am BLOWN AWAY. Words cannot describe how incredible these pictures are. I am beyond thrilled to have such beautiful mementos of our day to share. I want to make an album, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be six inches thick to include every single photo, because they are all just that good. Seriously, this is far beyond the "decent snapshots" I told Katy I was after. We look relaxed, happy, and flattering, and I cannot wait to share the photos with everyone I know. If it's not already crystal clear, I would give Studio 708 a thousand stars if I could. If you need any kind of photography, give them a call. I promise it will be amazing!!!!
