This is the shopping center with notable names such as Genki Sushi, Foodland, Longs. The Foodland Gas Station is located here as well. 91-1401 Fort Weaver Road is the address. I know this because there are two Longs' on Fort Weaver Road, so when you need to fill your prescription, you need to distinguish which Longs you want it to go to. There is a shared parking lot for all of the stores on this strip mall. During busy hours, the lot really fills up around Foodland side. During dinner time, the lot fills up near the restaurants. (Duh! I realize I'm being "Captain Obvious" after having typed that out.) If you want to just park and don't care how much you have to walk, and not have to stress about circling the lot looking for parking, just park by Longs side of the mall. That's my go-to spot to park. This mall is super convenient due to its location and the fact they have Longs and Foodland here (two of the stores I frequent very regularly). You can often "kill two birds with one stone", shop at the two locations with one stop. Be careful here if you have a lowered/dropped car. There are speedbumps on the Longs/Foodland side of the mall. If you need to avoid them, stay on the Genki side of the parking lot. During the busy times, there are lots of cars and lots of traffic in this mall. Due to the size of the lot and the amount of cars, it can be a little heartrate-rising when you enter the lot to look for parking and when you're trying to leave. The layout makes the flow kind of slow with people pulling in and out of stalls, and when you're in the middle part of the lot having to get to one of the main thoroughfares to get to the exit, you just have to hope someone's nice enough to let you in.

Ho'omaka Marketplace is a small collection of local retailers that formed into a small but…read moresuccessful retail space. It's anchored by 7-Eleven. The times I have come to Kapolei on the weekends, I would pass by Ho'omaka Marketplace on the way to Ka Makana Ali'i shopping center and to the new Sonic's Kapolei. I passed by the 7-Eleven and decided to do some shopping at Ho'omaka Marketplace. You won't see it on Google Maps since it won't be updated until later. It's a collection of a few retail establishments along with a gas station that make up this marketplace. It's definitely small and features the aforementioned 7-Eleven and the other merchants here that benefits the local native Hawaiian community. My experience here was good. I came here by bus from Ala Moana shopping center and stopped in front of it. It's only a walk away from Ka Makana Ali'i shopping center. It's a good place to shop for essentials although the larger shopping malls in the Kapolei area can offer much more. But it is what it is. You can feel the vibe here in Kapolei when you shop at Ho'omaka Marketplace. It's not so much the stores here but the amazing atmosphere that drives sales and productivity in this area of Kapolei. The Ho'omaka Marketplace is a place hardly noticed because it can be a drive pass area on the way to other spots in Kapolei and beyond. For the most part though, my experience here at the Ho'omaka marketplace was generally nice and affordable for the working local in Hawaii. Definitely a place to check out if you're in Kapolei or just passing though. The overall experience here at the Ho'omaka Marketplace was definitely chill and that was enough for me. Shopping here is for locals and tourists alike in Kapolei. You can find deals and fill up your car here. For myself though, you can find good deals off the beaten path and one of them is freshness unearthed here. The area of the marketplace is small but okay. Just a bunch of stores within a confined area. It's a place where most people driving thru won't notice but it's a place to shop for your daily essentials including refilling your gas tank. It's in a nice location where you can get in and get out of the area, especially during the morning or afternoon commute. I particularly enjoyed the 7-Eleven and the CVS store, where most people get their stuff for the day or night. For my own personal reasons, I shopped at the 7-Eleven for drinks and 3 spam musubi on 3 occasions after getting here via rail and walking the rest of the way. I would also look around the CVS store to make sure I wasn't missing anything for the day. If you're in the area and need anything, consider coming to Ho'omaka Marketplace, a short walk to Ka Makana Ali'i shopping center. Definitely a time well spent if you ask me. It a small venue for anyone and everyone. Ho'omaka Marketplace is located in Kapolei, Hawaii. It's physically located at 91-5480 Kapolei Parkway, next to the Kapolei fire station and Ka Makana Ali'i shopping center. The merchants here accept major credit cards, as well as cash. Best bet would be to use a credit card at the gas station for expedited service and save time. As far as parking goes, there's a good decent amount of parking here for all of yall who come here and park here. It can be quite annoying for those of you all who can't find parking here when you need it, but best bet would be to come early so you can get the best selection of parking spaces. If you are like me, public transportation is the wa to go. Take the rail line from town to East Kapolei. Then take the bus towards Ka Makana Ali'i shopping center and there's a bus stop next to the Hoomaka Marketplace. There's always Uber or Lyft for your travel needs too. And so, if you are ever are out here to shop, consider the Hoomaka Market here in Kapolei on your next shopping trip. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Easy walk to Ka Makana Ali'i. Support local! A+

This review is based on the "Eggs-perience the Joy of Easter" event at the Mililani Shopping…read moreCenter. The ad didn't explicitly state the exact location of the event. I had no clue where their center stage was. I checked online and the map/directory didn't have the information either. For future reference, this specific event was held near the Mililani Barber Shop. The person in the "Cotton the Bunny" suit must've been suffering in there because the bunny hardly moved from the chair, barely turned its head and couldn't be bothered to interact with people, let alone wave hello or goodbye. We lined up for their Easter egg hunt which was divided via age groups. We followed the leader to another area of the shopping center and were instructed to visit each shop that had a specific symbol displayed in the storefront. Many businesses were generally too busy with regular, paying customers to be bothered by the event goers (which is understandable). However, we visited a salon that went all out and placed eggs all over their establishment. (If I'm not mistaken, I believe it was LUXE Salon). They set time limits and had a set number of kids enter for each "session." So awesome! There was a very long line for the pony ride and we were cut off when we were almost to the front of the line. How disappointing, but no bother! The petting zoo had bunnies, chickens, goats and even a pig! Also, there was an area where kids could go into the fenced section to pet the chickens. All in all a great time! Highly recommend this event!

Shopping and dining in Mililani, Oahu, Hawaii…read more.. If I ever went to Mililani Marketplace in the past, it was before Yelp, and before I can remember... This Shopping Center is probably most known for Safeway. We visited because of Sakura Restaurant. I had a gift certificate from an Instagram Contest in which First Hawaiian Bank collaborated with small businesses such as Sakura Restaurant. Sakura is a stand-alone business. Everything else is like a strip mall. Luckily, Irene M. knew her way around. We walked over towards Subway, passed Super Cuts and Po Sing Chinese Restaurant, and saw a nail shop around the corner, past Meet Tea. It looks like this Shopping Center has some vacant space. I wonder what was here and what's coming...

Adulting along with distance I wasn't around for the final unveiling and really had no idea until a visit with my bestie one day as she was my New Years resolution..."to put our happiness first and see her more" and we had our pedi here, can't remember the place but clearly remember the fun and smiles we had following with Starbucks of course...oh how I miss those days. She's now my angel but I do visit here when I can as there so much to do, shop and get things done the most recent was for her celebration of life and as I created a collage in honor of her life we need a place to get it printed...Yelped a bunch of places but it was 8pm and nothing was available so I drove in Laulani to rethink and...POOF!
