Amazing Visit!! Will post pictures soon…read more First off Sidney at the front desk was the most well informed recieptionst ive encounterd! It was my first time coming in, and i thought i couldnt be seen but when i called in Sidney got me scheduled for the same day "AMAZING SERVICE"! She reassured me of how everything would go and even went over some of the options the Dr. might have for me! I had a dent in my cheek from an acne scar that had started to get worse due to me personally doing everything possible to make it worse thinking im a dermatologist, but i explained that to her when i called in and she scheduled me right away! The visit went just as well! Gabby is also AMAZING and well informed and made me feel comfortable about the procedure before the Dr. came in. She is very friendly and made the visit much easier! Dr. Hickman is beyond professional and efficient! When i tell you i had zero pain during this procedure i am not lying.. i would not even give it a 1 on the pain scale. ( the procedure i had done was filler to help fill the scar and lift the skin and overtime potentially help collagen start building back in the area) I am no longer ugly and back to normal. I recommend them for sure!! Thank you guys

This was genuinely one of the worst medical experiences my mother and I have ever had…read more From the moment we walked in, the entire office felt cold, dismissive, and incredibly rude. The receptionist and assistant were both abrasive and unwelcoming, but the dermatologist herself was by far the worst part of the experience. (Dr. Martha Hickmann) During the exam, she SCRATCHED my mother's irritated skin with her bare fingernails while examining the area. Not only was this incredibly uncomfortable, but it also felt completely unsanitary and unprofessional. There was no warning, no gentleness, and no respect for basic bedside manner. Her overall attitude throughout the appointment was shockingly condescending. Every question we asked was met with snarky, dismissive responses as if we were stupid for asking normal medical questions. When my mother asked about potential scarring from a procedure, the doctor sarcastically replied, "Every surgical procedure causes a scar," in a tone that was clearly meant to belittle rather than educate. Instead of offering reassurance or a thoughtful explanation, she acted irritated that she even had to answer. The entire appointment felt rushed and careless. Rather than explaining anything clearly or showing confidence and expertise, she seemed to just throw random possibilities around without much insight or certainty. It genuinely felt like guessing rather than informed medical care. What made the experience even worse was how physically invasive and disrespectful she was. She repeatedly put her hands on people without asking, handled irritated skin aggressively, and showed absolutely no awareness of patient comfort whatsoever. There is a massive difference between being direct and being rude, and this office crossed that line repeatedly. We left feeling uncomfortable, dismissed, and honestly upset by how unnecessarily demeaning the entire interaction was. I would absolutely never recommend this dermatologist or this office to anyone looking for compassionate, professional, or respectful care. The entire experience was awful from start to finish.

On the day of surgery, Dr. Fox was not only 30 min late to surgery, but somehow confused my procedure with another patients'. I had been waiting in prep, and the nurses had taken the liberty to begin muscle relaxers and sedatives before anesthesia. Dr. Fox arrived in plain clothes and started asking me about procedures that were not agreed upon. By this point, I was extremely drowsy due to the muscle relaxers, and not to mention stressed and highly anxious. I had to go into complete detail of the surgical procedures we had agreed to. He should have been prepared, on time, knowing very well what he was going to do to my body. He also was asking me to make decisions/ changes the procedure minutes before we were going under the knife. He seemed discombobulated and unprepared and I should not have been forced to make decisions while under sedatives. The results are fine. I have regrets about certain aspects of it but there were no complications after the surgery was done. It seems like Dr. Fox flies by the seat of his pants and usually gets by being nonchalant. But this experience really bothered me and I hope moving forward he is more prepared going into surgery.

Be careful letting them take photos of you for your file. They wanted to "check a spot they…read moreremoved" at one of my appointments... the problem is, I didn't have anything removed there. They showed me a picture and I told them that clearly isn't me. They had a picture of someone else's body part in my file and showed it to me. Mistakes happen, so I didn't think anything of it or make a big deal. UNTIL... I messed up my appt time at another appt. I thought it was 2:30 but it was 12:30, so totally my fault but just a mistake that I came late. The office people there are so snotty and rude. Refused to not charge me a fee because I had canceled a previous appt because I was sick. So... the point of this is to let you know to go ahead and show up sick, don't mess up and make a mistake because they punish you even though they can make a (very inappropriate) mistake themselves. All you need to do is read their responses to their other terrible reviews to see they are a very unprofessional office. The attitudes are gross and uncalled for. Their immature and defensive responses say it all. Switching doctors for sure. I should have read the rest of the reviews before going here. I told the girl I talked to, to have the billing manager call me and she said OK (with an attitude of course). Still no call days later. Not surprised.

The first time I came here, the receptionist loudly announced that I had come in two months early for an appointment. Come to find out, the receptionist who scheduled my appointment had told me (multiple times) that my appointment was in December when she had actually meant to say February! They couldn't (or at least refused to) squeeze me in, and I had to wait two more months to be seen. Extremely embarrassing and wasteful of everyone's time. That should have been my sign to cancel and be seen elsewhere. My real appointment finally arrived, and I came in to have a few painful moles checked out and removed, only to be told that my insurance would not cover the removal regardless of pain. This is odd because they accepted the same insurance when my mother visited the week prior for the same thing, and insurance covered her removal without a fuss! The doctor hardly even glanced at the areas I complained about, ignored several of my questions, and seemed irritated when I still requested to have them removed. Heads up, they only remove THREE moles at once, all for the low price of nearly $500. Good luck if you have more than three that are hurting you, you're doomed to come back and perform this shameful, expensive rat race with them again. The nurse poorly bandaged the removal spots and even put the sticky part of the bandaid on one of the open wounds. Within 30 minutes of leaving, one of the removals on my chest had bled through both the bandage and my shirt, and my entire torso was absolutely covered in blood! For as much as they charge, you would think you'd be at least guaranteed not to go home looking like you've just fled a crime scene. Heed the warnings! Coming here means you might be publicly embarrassed, have your time wasted, and pay good money for lousy service. Exhaust all other options before coming here!
