I've been a longtime customer of this company and a frequent visitor to the Chardon store; however,…read morewhat I've seen recently has caused me such dismay that not only am I no longer purchasing my housewares at this store, but none of my family and several of my friends no longer do either. The store management is essentially indifferent to its floor associates, paying them as little as $8/hr and scheduling them for irregular or on-call shifts based on need - even though I just came back from the store and saw only TWO cashiers for the entire checkout line network. The lines themselves were very long - people were leaving to go to Walmart or Target - so clearly whoever manages scheduling did not do their job. This is the fourth or fifth time I've seen this type of understaffing and, frankly, I've had it enough of it. There was one time the entire POS system was offline and instead of taking matters into his own hands, the store manager Steve simply left it to the most recently-hired part-time associates to fix the problem. It was appalling. If you care about the store's staff and wish to send a message to its lethargic and callous managers, shop somewhere else. Nothing you find there is exclusive to Big Lots and in fact their prices aren't especially competitive compared with the other chain stores.

Okay....so this is my first fan letter for a paint product…read more Went to my friendly neighborhood Lowes and asked for the very best cabinet paint they had. This is the first time I have DIY-painted any cabinets let alone an entire kitchen's worth. I was directed to the Valspar Cabinet Paint. The Lowe's staff member seemed knowledgeable and shared with us all the paint's qualities. I have to admit, I was skeptical...paint is paint, right? Wrongo...this paint is amazing!! Whether you brush or roll, coverage is exceptional, the paint levels well, it dries to a nice hard finish with no odor, and clean up is a breeze. I could not be more pleased with this product. Our cabinets are done (white uppers, blue lowers) and they look awesome. I've always purchased Valspar products and now I'm an even more devoted fan!

I wish I could give NO stars!!! This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a florist …read more The arrangement looked NOTHING like the photo, the flowers were drooping and literally looked like they recycled them from the trash. I called and spoke to an employee who was beyond rude and told me the only thing she could offer me was sorry she blamed the fact that I ordered through another company and said that they could do substitutions which I understand however the arrangement was not even in the same hemisphere as what I ordered and the rude nonchalant attitude of the employer made it even worse !!!! I was beyond embarrassed when my friends husband sent me a picture of the flowers. I left an honest review on their facebook page and they blocked me

Their web site says they are open until 4:00 on Sundays. I called the number on the sign and told the man who answered that I had just arrived to buy mulch, and he said "oh, well we closed early." I asked why he would do that when their web site advertises their business hours, and his answer was "hey, there are a couple other places close by that you can go- we're closed. Sorry." I started to ask another question, wanting to know when they would reopen, but he hung up on me as I was still talking! When I called back he had a very nasty attitude, told me I had anger issues, and hung up on me again! I can't believe people think they can do business this way. I have spent plenty of money here in the past, but never again! They have lost a customer for life. I will gladly take my business and my money elsewhere, and I will recommend to anyone who asks that they do the same.

I've had a positive experience with All Makes Vacuum in the past when they quickly and efficiently…read morerepaired our Kirby vacuum, so I hate coming back now to leave a negative review. This time, when our Kirby needed a different repair, I did not hesitate to bring it to All Makes right away. I dropped it off at the end of the week and was given the expectation that I would receive a call by mid-week the following week that it would be ready for pick up. That call didn't come. So called them multiple times. No answer, so I left a message. No one called back. The next day I called again multiple times. No answer, so I left a message. The next day, I called again. No answer, so I just went to the store. The same guy I dropped off the vacuum with explained that they've been swamped and he's by himself, but the vacuum should be ready early the following week. I called mid-week the following week and no answer. I didn't bother leaving a message. I called again at the end of the week. No answer again. So I just went back to the store. Same guy gave the same explanation - swamped and by himself, but that it should be ready next week. He's had our vacuum for over 2 weeks at this point, and at this point I just decided to take the vacuum back and bring it elsewhere. I understand getting behind due to a backlog and being short staffed, but WHERE IS THE COMMUNICATION? Where is the professional courtesy of returning the phone call of an active customer? Disappointed because I liked this place. They do good work and are close by.
