The staff treated us with rudeness and suspicion that made us extremely uncomfortable. it was clear we were being profiled based on how we looked, well on how my husband looked, which is unacceptable anywhere-espicially in a business that should be serving the community with fairness and respect. I would love for this establishment to know all the wonderful things about my husband, he is and an amazing husband, father, teacher, and Veteran. Unfortunately all these wonderful things are lost to some based on the color of his skin. No one should be made to feel singled out or discriminated against just for walking into a store. I saw their street sign, "Covid-19 Masks In Stock". I went inside and said "I'll take 6." I just assumed they would be reasonably priced. No display, they had them in a large brown box next to the register, out of reach. $8.00 each. I just said "yes" and took them. They are R-25 or something "close" but not the same. No black button valve, just a multiple layer paper/cloth mask. I feel like I got taken advantage of.

I had always wondered why the parking lot was always empty and after my first and final visit, I know why! I was met by a very short, older man who had a very bad attitude. I told him that I needed a piece of glass cut for my picture frame and he sort of grunted and extended his hand towards the frame, so I handed it to him. He proceeded to grab it by one corner while dragging the opposite corner on the floor. I immediately asked him: "PLEASE, do not drag my frame on the floor, it is for a customer of mine" to which he gave me a sideways look and stormed off towards the back of the store. I followed him and took a few steps back into the room that he took my frame, just far enough to peek around the corner and see him toss the frame onto the workbench without taking any precautions to protect it. He looked at me and told me to leave the area and I did. After about 15 minutes, he brings the frame out with no glass in it, stating that he was unable to cut a piece of glass to the dimensions of the frame and he told me what he got when he measured it and those measurements were nowhere close to the required dimensions. Afterall, I know what the dimensions are since I BUILT THAT FRAME! While I was waiting, there was a pregnant girl spreading epoxy onto an old dirty tree stump. I am not sure about who manages that place but to allow a pregnant person to handle and breathe in those chemicals, is totally and completely irresponsible. I ended up taking my frame to Joughins hardware on State St. in Painesville and they actually knew how to cut a piece of glass, unlike the "little person" that didn't know how to, at Crile hardware, it fit perfectly and it was cut from a standard sheet of double strength glass. If you want a professional and knowledgeable staff to deal with in the hardware business, go to Joughins and don't waste your time at Crile road. After repairing the damage done to the frame that was caused by the "little person" at Crile road, I finally delivered the frame to my customer and he was very happy.

I asked the lady at the desk, she said it was out back. She said there was a saw out there I could use to cut the lumber myself and that there were people out there to help. Out back is a large space with some stuff outside and some in covered areas. There was no one around to ask. After wandering around for a while, I found what I was looking for. It was on a shelf well over my head. I didn't think I could get it down by myself. I left and went across the street to Home Depot where I got great service. I was in and out with my cut lumber in less than 10 minutes.

Took me about 10 minutes. I had been to Lowes and Menards before this and had been unable to complete my task. The associate knew her business and was willing to help.

we bought a washer/dryer combo from Mentor Home Depot, It was delivered broken with a tag saying…read more'defeco'. We have called Home Depot to report the problem at - 1800-455-3869 for help--they said we had to call Frigidare but gave us the number 1800-374-4421 well that was a number for 'medical alert devise'. I called the 357-0428 Mentor store and it rang for 5 minutes no answer. We are still trying to get help returing this product.
